Hey all. As you may be aware, I am now the new head admin of the Minecraft server and I am looking to expand and improve the server as much as possible. I turn to the community and ask them what they feel they would like to see/do while on the Minecraft Server, what may be missing from it, and other ideas for events and mini-games that would give a more distinct variety to the server.

Anything that doesn't require a mod to run would be discussed with the other admins to see how it can be implemented in the server. We would like to add as many new, different and interesting things we can to the server so players have more of a choice to do what they would like to do. More fire breathing dragons, less dirt spikes.

I mostly play modded Minecraft so unless your willing to add mods then I know nothing of features you can add. Sorry, I can't help you with that.

legacyme3 : Would the interchangeability of the fire be acceptable? Incidentally, we have dragon breathing fires instead.

anime_fan_one : Although David will not add mods to the crrent server, he said it might be possible if he can find a way to open another MC server on the same server, so each one would be separate and independent of the mods.

Couldn't get dragon-breathing dragons instead? That would have been an acceptable compromise.

legacyme3 : Well, that's a shame. We just had some dragon dragoning dragons, but replaced it with some fire breathing fires. Those weren't popular. We apologise for this major inconvenience.

I haven't played in a while, but I think the area outside of vizzed ville needs to be cleaned up. There are too many incomplete builds just sitting there...

I would be very enthusiastic for a PvP survival world if the following would be met:

1# 1.8 Combat

2# No outside resources.

3# A nether specifically for the PvP world

4# People would actually play

5# No land claims.

6# Many, MANY salty tears.

Lots of summon fails, yet i'm not in that list. Though i was a Minecrafter from Vizzed?

Anyway, i had a server on my own once and used lots of plugins. So i would recommend a lot of plugins. Also, the world was a desert city from top quality and i made some changes to make spawners which create villagers and iron golems, to create a horse racing course with an alternative for Mario Kart item boxes (I can tell you how one day) and lots of more functions.

Oh i tried to think of something, but only could give tips. I don't quite know what to suggest, only an RPG quest or something. But i need to demonstrate what i mean but i can't play Minecraft yet.

If plugins are an option, I'd like you to add a plugin that lets you sit by typing /sit in the chat.

I'm a simple man

Actually, there is something I would like to see: multiple spawn locations in the survival worlds. That way, there wouldn't be a need to travel long distance from the existing spawn points that are built up and mined out to feel like you're starting from a fresh world. Maybe make it where we can set up teleporters from our house in Vizzed Ville to our base in each survival world and vice versa.

I'd also like to see a 1.11 survival world when the update come out.

m0ssb3rg935 : Would you prefer this to be random or systematic? Having them fixed might be a better idea, as it means we can pinpoint it to places never seen on the map before. The same could be done with the nether and the end, as it's bedn mentionedthe spawn of these are mined dry with hardly any nether quartz to gather.



Also we plan to have a 1.11world as soon as possible. Would you like a contest with it, like with getting the first Ender Dragon egg with the 1.9 world?

Feel free to PM me your list, and I'll give it an investigation, as well as that RPG quest. I've made an adventure map on the server, but I have a feeling you have something different in mind.



bombchu link : We have plans to revert combat to all 1.8 worlds originally, but if you think a PvP specific world just for this would be better, we'll keep that in mind.

Most, if not all, empty or literally only had 4-5 blocks on it claims with 200+ days have been reclaimed and put on sale. As well as a couple of others that were unlcimaed or just looked... really weird. Like that grass/dirt thing that was uncliamed on Iggy's island that made not sense.

Now to work on megod for empty claims as well as possibly re-selling certain buildings without destorying them since if I were to destroy anything that the owner wasnt on the past 200+ days, vizzed would look pretty bare.

And I may or may not steal Play4fun's house with a pickaxe on it since its so pretty

Zircron Swift : Fixed would be fine A competition for the 1.11 world would be cool, too. Maybe something like first person to conquer a Woodland Mansion, unless that would be too easy.

I'd love to see a challenge map like Super Hostile or Ragecraft to be put on the server. I've played a lot of them on my own and while they are fun I think it would be more fun to have someone to play with.

Is there a chat system for the server? If there isn't, then it could be really benefit people in the server.

Not that I'm able to get on for the moment - due to stuff I'm hoping to sort out later - but has anyone tried making an Iron Golem farm on it to get more Iron than just the Ores provide?
