I have a suggestion for the RGR (Retro Game Room) . Some times I come across and witness some very fowl and well inappropriate conversations and general heavy  swearing in the comment/vizzed game chat box and I think there really needs to be a report button for that because in some cases I see older members swearing heavily around and in some cases at younger members.

I have one for the RGR.

I was thinking maybe the game's page should include a "Recent Screenshots' section and/or a 'Recent Videos' one as well. Where screenshots or videos will be displayed on the page for about a week before it gets dumped in with the other screenshots/videos that many users have taken before.

Oops, I forgot to put my reason. 

I think the 'Recent Screenshots' and/or 'Recent Videos' section would be good since I feel like the only ones that get noticed are the ones that are already front paged. This will provide newer screenshots/videos a chance to be noticeable to those who play the game.

 If you catch someone swearing you can just take a screenshot of it, and send a pm to the moderators. 


I've have some ideas, but I think I'll probably make it in a seperate thread, considering these are post layout related things. but as for suggestions, I guess the fourm could use some orangization,    like pointed out in the thread I had, and  Perhaps a way you can mark a post as a question or something, just to make things more easier for everybody.

SuperCrash44: The point of this thread was so that separate threads wouldn't have to be made with suggestions.

I have a couple of ideas myself that could improve the board and the RGR.

The first idea I had is to modify the plugin so that it supports races, where users can race against each other in various NES games, SNES games, etc. This video pretty much summarizes the idea that I had. I just thought this would be a cool thing to implement.

The other suggestion I had is more so for the forums, giving elites the power to close the threads they created. I thought this would give thr elite status a little more meaning as well as remove the reliance on local mods to close threads they created.

Davideo7 : I've been meaning to ask you about this for a while. Would it be possible to add a scrolling feature to the right info box (the one that contains donations and birthdays)? I've often wanted to see all the user birthdays for the current day, but as of now the birthdays just run down out of sight. Thanks for reading!

I think that a little bit of bait should be laid down in the boards(posting competitions, like the TDV but frequently) to lure the Newbies in the RGR out and get posting a little more, since 97% of the people I see in the RGR Games are Newbies with 0 posts and they have been part of Vizzed for more than a year. I think the boards need to be sped up a bit, and luring the Newbies out would be a start. 

This one is for the Like/Dislike option. Instead of the words saying Like/Dislike, how about Helpful/Not Helpful? The purpose of the Like/Dislike feature is to separate helpful posts from offensive ones, correct? Well, the word 'like' and 'dislike' can mean different things to different users. A person might 'like' a post that isn't necessarily helpful, but can be found amusing. In the other way around, a person could dislike a post because they don't like the opinion of the poster, whether they be offensive or not.

Replacing the words with Helpful/Not Helpful would create a more standardized guideline on whether a post should be 'liked' or disliked'.

I have a suggestion:

I understand you can rate videos, but I'm wondering, If someone is just a youtuber, and likes you're video, why don't you get cp and Viz for it, I think youtube likes can actually help and benefit this place quite a bit.

One of my suggestions is that a user should have the option to hide or show his/her's post rating on their profile. But the admins can still see it. Also when someone is posting or making a review, in case he/she accidentally closed or refresh the page, instead of that happening, a popup should come saying "Are you sure you want to leave this page?". And I think someone has mentioned that before but I'm not sure when. Also for trusted members, I think a profile background and design editor would be useful instead of making some complicated code. And I guess this is all of my ideas for now.

Erm.Time to do it.what about making Automatically submitting the review ( i mean while going to play in the game,they put your review to be placed in.and the one with highest rating will be place.And depending with the more commments if a tie.

It's a good idea to make a big list of requests, that way when I have time to work on them, I know what they are.

Davideo7 : I put all the current suggestions into my first post. Is that what you meant by organizing them? That way we can just cross out the ones that have been implemented or rejected.

I think there should be a thread search option in each forum so that you can avoid making a thread with the same topic as another one.

I have another suggestion. I think that thre should be an option that allows users to remove unwanted notifications (for thing like reply to thread or visiting vizzed). I think that this could give users the ability to clean up their notifications and possibly increase site speed (if possible).

Okay, how about this.

If you post in any forum, and someone else posted before you make yours, you get an alert saying that another post has been made while you were writing yours and asks if you want to change it. It works best for Forum Games.

I suggest you make the minimum amount you can donate be lower, I was going to donate $10, then I saw the minimum was $25, I just can't afford that, not all at once anyway, I reckon if you made a lower minimum a lot more people would donate, including myself.
