The 2014 Newsletter has begun rolling out today and should take up to 2 weeks to deliver to everyone. The biggest highlight of this newsletter is the fact that it celebrates the 10 year anniversary of Vizzed Board. Hopefully the site's traffic increases during this time as some old users come back to give us a visit.

It's been almost a year again since the last Vizzed Newsletter so there's a lot of stuff to update you all on since the last newsletter.


First of all, December 6th is the 10 Year Anniversary of the current Vizzed Board so be sure to stop by to help us celebrate this awesome milestone; I've got a few surprises prepared for that day. Be sure to stop by to see if you earned any awards and if you stop by early enough, cast your votes to the yearly Vizzed Awards.


8 New Systems added to the Retro Game Room

Between these systems and the 1000s of other games added over the past year (which includes hacks, homebrews and Pokemon games), there are over 10,000 new games in the RGR. You can find a list of all these games here:

New Games and Systems Added to the Video Game Room!
This includes Windows Games, Mac Games, N-Gage, Odyssey 2, Neo Geo CD, Atari Jaguar CD, Atari 400, Xbox One and Playstation 4. This means that we have game pages for over 60 game systems for over 63,000 games. Most of these game pages have content, screenshots and price guides and allow you to write reviews, guides or threads. And like always, if you ownt he games, be sure to add them to your game collection which helps you keep track of what you own and tallies up the total value and rarity of your game collection. There have been a lot of new features added to the site over the past year so I'll go over each of the big ones briefly.


Game Streaming Page
This is a page where Vizzed users can stream games on Twitch or Hitbox and everyone on the site will be notified of the streams. It's a great way to bring traffic to your streams and you also earn Viz and CP when you stream games in the RGR. This page allows you to watch up to 4 Vizzed Streamers at once. More Information here:

Video Game Systems, Controllers & Accessories
Not only does the Video Game Room have pages for video games but it also now has pages for Systems, Controllers and Accessories. These pages offer almost all of the same features as the game pages. You can check out it out for yourself by searching through the various video game hardware here:

Vizzed Minecraft Server
Earlier in the year our minecraft server launched and it has been enjoyed by over 500 users since. There are a lot of cool plugins on this server and a lot of awesome creations so be sure to check it out. You can find more information and the address here:

Video Game Characters
This is a feature I've been wanting to add for years and finally got it added. Vizzed now has a huge list of video game characters, over 20,000. Each character's profile page shows the game's that character appears in, brief details about the character, which franchise they're a part of and all screenshots they've been tagged in. Game pages also list all the characters that appear in the game. The feature isn't complete and we need volunteers to help add more characters and screenshots to the site but this is has been a very exciting feature so far that every gamer should check out. Vizzed YouTube Channels
The 15 minute restriction has been removed off of the main Vizzed YouTube Channel and since that limit has been removed, 1000s of videos and 100s of hours worth have been uploaded. Here's a list of all of our current and new channels (be sure to subscribe):

Eniitan : It's an email newsletter that I've been doing every year for quite a few years now. It'd be awesome to do a physical newsletter someday.

Davideo7 : Yes someday that will happen in the near future. I believe that.

I am looking forward on seeing these newsletters being delivered to all users that signed up on Vizzed, even the non-posting newbies. This will be quite an interesting concept.

What will the Email's Subject Line read? I get a bunch of spam in my e-mails, so I just delete everything if I am not expecting something or looking for something. If I know the subject, I can look out for the e-mail, and not accidently delete this one. I am actually looking forward to this one.

I haven't gotten the letter in the past, which I'm pretty sure is due to the fact that I mysteriously have no email address listed for my account.

All right Davideo7! I cannot wait to see it. I think this year may have seen some improvements. After all, I signed up in time to see you add a bunch of microsoft games, the sega saturn system, and a whole heap of playstation games. I am proud to be a member of this site. FaithFighter : The site is always making progress with content and features but I can't seem to get the number of daily visitors up, in fact, it's gone down a bit over the past year and a half.

Davideo7 : Just asking, but will ALL the users receive the newsletter?

I literally just logged out and clicked forgot password just to see if I get an email, and remarkably, I got my first email ever from vizzed.

This newsletter scared me for a second. I mean I'm not used to get mails from Vizzed and I thought I got banned or something.
