Okay, I know Vizzed is, for the most part, a Christian community. I do not wish to offend people, but I am an Atheist. I was just wondering if you Vizzards would accept this fact. I've always thought...religion was...ridiculous. I respect those who are pious, but not TOO pious. I have encountered people who say I'm going to Hell. I believe gay marriage is not unconstitutional and whatnot. I don't believe in any religious belief. So....yeah

Aww....it ok...pixel I mean we are friends right? I am a Christian you know. I do take to heart what people say, and how they feel on about many thing. If they do not like to talk of a certain subject, then I will not talk of it in front of them. That is why I want you happy, that to know that you are ok. Not all christans may agree to what I have to say. But I follow in my own path of Christianity, of what I believe. But in still in god though and in the way I believe that it is good, and better for me. I am sure people and some of your friends will understand this. Because they should come to know how you are with many things. You are my friend so I do what makes you happy. And talk of what you enjoy doing and more, so its ok. ^-^


But it may not be best to talk about gay marriage, in from of gay people like that, as that can hurt their feelings. There are somethings that you also have to sacrifice not to talk on about. Like as I have done for you. And that is one of them. You shouldn't talk about which can hurt gay people like that. Though you don't like the marriage agreement, and especially if they are your friends on vizzed.....

Don't be worried about offending anyone.

I'm atheist and proud.

Don't conform to what others want. Be your own person.

If they don't accept you, then screw them. They aren't worth it.

We don't care about religion here. We will take you in no matter what your religion is.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being an Atheist!! And forget the people that will judge you.... being yourself is one of the most important things in life!!

And also being gay is not a sin..... judging other people is a sin!!

We all support you for who you are!!

To me I don't care if you are or not since I think myself as neither even though in one way or another you are athiest or worship a religion I personally don't like the name given for either. But don't let others try forcing/convince you into something you are not as long as you think it, it doesn't matter what others say.

No one is going to be offended or stop talking to you or anything. I doubt anyone cares. Most people, including myself, don't agree with you, but no one is going to persecute you over your beliefs. Unless you start persecuting people who do believe in some form religion, that is.

Wait... we wouldn't accept you? Why not? I mean, everyone can believe what they want to. It's your choice. I have never shunned an atheist simply because of his/her beliefs, and I'm not about to start. Christians are supposed to hate no-one, rather hating the sin/evil deeds we see. 'Hate the sin, not the sinner'. Of course, we include ourselves in the sinner column. We don't believe ourselves to be better than you.

P.S. I am NOT saying im an atheist(nothing wrong with being one). but between some people CRAMMING religion down my throat, not to mention religious prejudice. my religion choice is In the mesosphere right now.

I am too. I wouldn't worry too much about offending anyone, if there is someone that is offended just because you don't believe the same thing than they have no self esteem and its not your fault they are mad, it is their own, but I do stay away from any religious topics because I am an opinionated person and I would offend the paints off of everyone.

Yeah I'll accept you. If theirs a God we will find out sooner or later. So why not be friends with every one down here until then.

There are more Atheists here than you'd think. Myself, I'm very undecided, but leaning towards Atheism. Everyone just thinks differently.

This website is predominantly Christian, yes, but that should play no role in making friends and feelng accepted.

PixelBrick : You're not the only one I'm atheist too (although i'm maybe slightly more open about it ) and so far people on here seem to get along well with me for the most part but yeah I have to agree people here for the most part seem to be Christians (at least the ones I've seen who's active anyways) but that hasn't affected me at all.

And if you do actually encounter someone here who does not accept you for being atheist that should only be a one time incident and I'm hoping that never happens to anyone regardless of what there beliefs are. And if they can't accept you for being an atheist they don't really seem like a true friend to me at least.

So don't try to hide your beliefs it's better to just be true to yourself and others about what you believe and don't believe. Seems like something that has been said over 9000 times but it really is true (with that said it doesn't mean that you should go around debating people in the debate/logic/news discussion forum if you don't want to XD).
