I've been trying to get some vizzed work done, but time after time, my pages wouldn't load all the way. I kept thinking my computer was just glitching or something, and so I stubbornly kept hitting refresh.  I even tried a few different browsers, but my page would rarely load. I only JUST realized what the common factor was: a Pizza Hut ad.

Every time that ad shows on the page, my vizzed page won't finish loading.  Is anyone else having that issue?  Here are a few explanatory screen shots:

I haven't noticed any Pizza Hut ads, but I have noticed ads on game pages by the description that mess up the page and make it look weird.

Same here. I've been trying to post off and on for a few hours, and this is the first time one of those Pizza Hut ads hasn't come up and blocked me. This definitely needs to be fixed.

I was just getting onto the help forums to report the problems I'm having with the Pizza Hut ads. Suppose it's a good thing I found that people were already talking about them. I agree that these should be fixed soon. Kinda hard to make reviews or post comments about the games when it doesn't load down that far.

To do so (in Chrome), first click the ABP icon in the top right corner of your browser. Click 'enabled on this site' to disable ABP. Next time you see the Pizza Hut ad (or a certain annoying ad), click 'Block element' and then click on the advertisement. Now only that advertisement will be blocked.

I have noticed sometimes if I try to open the second/third/etc page of a thread, it doesn't finish loading. The add does finish loading, but I never payed attention to it. I don't know for sure if it is a Pizza Hut advertisement that does it. I will pay attention to when it happens again to see if it is indeed those adds that do it.

I have noticed that sometimes I also have problems with this.. I get pizza hut ads and different ads I would keep refreshing but it wouldn't work. It finally quit for me and I haven't had the problem in a long while.. it did get quite annoying.

I actually have the ads blocked for now, and I can't access the second page of my "I am Resolved" thread.  Is it possible that ads can affect the page even if they are disabled?  Surely not...

   I feel a tad shocked I had not received any advertisements of Pizza Hut lately nor have any advertisements had caused my page of Vizzed to incompletely load. I believe the issue is Pizza Hut is attempting to hack Vizzed to make more money possibly the advertisement has too much motion or the photo within the advertisement is too many kilobytes. Also, why are you apologizing for activating a blocker of advertisements? Isn't that a positive feature? Anyways, I hope this responses actually creates sense and I hope I do not seem stupid if it is a bunch of nonsense, but I'm just guessing. In addition, good luck with this issue and good luck completing your work of Vizzed!

I would suggest just keeping your adblock on all the time so you never have to worry about this random stuff popping up, that is what I do anyway and I never have to worry about this. Chrome is best, I am not sure if that is the browser you stick with since you said you tried using other browsers, but stay with chrome and adblock and this shouldn't happen again hopefully.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
