The time has long since come actually where I feel like it's my place to step down as site staff/moderator/admin.

The last 8 months of my life has been pretty chaotic. With promotions at work, health issues with different close family members and all sorts of other life events that have really made it hard for me to be very active on Vizzed during that time. Although my intentions to be able to come back and be as active as I had been throughout my time on this site were there, It just never came to fruition. Maybe the fire and motivation isn't what it once was.

It's really hard to put into words the great experience I have had in my 6+ years on the site, with most of that spent in some sort of active Staff/Moderator role. My years spent as global really were an interesting experience that I will never forget.

There were ups and downs with all of us as a whole, but really I feel nothing but positive in the things we were all able to accomplish not only as a moderator team and staff, but as a community and site as a whole. Those peak years really were great.

Although this is not goodbye, I do feel like I'm truly turning a page. You will still see me around, I love this site too much to just leave, but I am looking forward to just spending time as a fan and not as a moderator. Who knows, maybe we can netplay some games together if you look for me in the netplay lobby. You know me, I'm always up for a game!

Who knows, maybe I will come back in some sort of a role again, but for now I can just sit back and enjoy.

There is a great group of mods and admins on this site that I truly feel good about and I know that the site as a whole will be in good hands for a long time to come.

Thank you to each and every one of you that have helped me, or whom I have helped. For all the great times and great experiences.

zanderlex : Thank you for the kind words and the support. I guess I was just holding out hope that I could get myself back as active as I was before and it just never happened.... and I know with the holidays coming up that wasn't going to change anytime soon.

So ultimately I just didn't think it would be fair to hold a staff role that I wasn't active for. Just doesn't seem right and not what I'm about.

I do agree though, it's weird looking at the staff list and not being up there. Been a VERY long time.

Really sad about this news but your situation IRL is more important. I hope everything will work out for you and that one day you'll be active on here again.

Looking back we didn't interact all that often but it was fun working with you on the staff team regardless.

I knew you were dealing with some serious stuff, because your inactivity wasn't normal. I kind of expected you to return, but eventually one must realize their own limits and take the correct decision.

Nothing will be the same now. Most people haven't known this site without you being around in the staff+ ranks. If at least this can help you sort out your life and be a happier person, we accept it.

Sucks to see you step down, you were a great Admin, and user in general. Hopefully the life you've had for the past 8 months have/will get better as time goes on. I really have a lot to thank you for. If I remember correctly, you were one of the people who helped with my situation when I got banned, trying to figure out what really happened and whatnot. I thank you for that. I look forward to the future interactions with you that are to come!

You were a member of staff for a long time man, and you contributed a lot to Vizzed. I can relate to all the reasons that you listed for stepping down so it's cool.

Jordanv78 : Sorry to hear about this. Being an administrator requires time and dedication to this site and I understand you can't put as much of that into this site anymore due to Family issues. Maybe one day I'll be your replacement on the admin team (I feel like I have a good shot due to my crazy activity/posts here)

You were a good global when I was around, and I missed you being active while you were admin :/.

I still remember how we first met. With my Mega Man X guide and the little argument in the thread xp. We haven't interacted much, but I will remember you.

Thanks and yeah it's not. Once local mod apps come out, I'll be applying for that. Only start worrying if you don't see an application from me.

I somehow suspected that this is what the thread was about, but at the same time I was literally speechless when I read it. I never thought you would step down, but I suppose it's inevitable for us all. We all have lives and we all will have to step down from whatever roles we have at some point because of our lives.


Well man, it's really sad to see it happen, you've done an absolutely amazing job over the years, and you definitely have my respect and appreciation for it. I hope everything goes well for you, and that you take the opportunity to relax and just enjoy yourself for a while at least on here.

Just take care of yourself and those around you,Jordan. We'll be fine and if you do come back,even if not as a mod,you will be welcomed back with open arms.

Jordanv78 : Even though I just joined the site and I barely know you, I feel like I have been on the site a long time and have got to know you. I know you won't be as active, but just know, give yourself a break and relax. This dilemma will clear up, and you will get to spend more time on Vizzed and try to get into the community a little better again. I hope you can get through your troubles in life and live as happy as you can be. Just know, we are there for you.

While I am sorry to hear that you are stepping down as mod/admin/staff... I do want to wish you the best! Real life is far more important than anything online! Hopefully you will still be able to be active, though it won't be the same, since you aren't "working" for the community. (Officially anyway.) 

I do have to say, you are by far one of the busiest people I knew, but you were never too busy to help out a newbie like me, when I started. Best wishes, hope you can get everything sorted out! Mainly, that things will settle down in life!
