This is the list of applicants that will be on the ballot for the local mod election. With the large number of people on the ballot there will likely be 2 stages to the election process. 1st step will be to reduce the number on the ballot from 15 down to about 4-6. The only way this will not occur is if the person in 1st place has a landslide victory. I don't see this happening though with how many people are currently on the ballot.

After the number is reduced to around 4-6 we will have a 2nd election with just those names on the ballot and whoever wins that election will win the local mod spot.

Now, those that I have summoned are free to make 1 thread in the "Your Forum" where they tell people who they are, and why they would make a good mod. Feel free to advertise your thread via this thread if you would like but nothing beyond that.

And, good luck. The voting will likely start next Friday.

Am I to presume that we are allowed to ask the candidates questions?

And if we do, if we're allowed to be hard-hitting. There's no point in questioning them, if we're only allowed to ask cookie-cutter questions.

Dang it. I have no more likes for the day, but I wanted to express my appreciation for those "hard" questions.  I was actually worried nobody would ask questions at all, and furthermore, that the questions asked would be too light-hearted to really aid in making good decisions.  When running for any election, those types of questions are what's needed. They may seem abrasive, but how people handle those questions is also a good sign of what to expect from them once put in the desired position.
