I'm many of you guys know me, know about my activity, and know how much I have already done for the site.

First of off, this will be a hard campaign, some of the competitors probably won't be beat, but hey, its worth a shot.

I applied for local mod due to my want to help out the Vizzed community in the forums, which some of you already know about. 

I currently do work in the RGR and VGR with a job in each. 

I have availability of roughly 5-6 hours a day here on Vizzed, most of which I use to be on Vizzed. I am active in the forums, in the chat rooms, and on the minecraft server. I know the community very well, have been around for just over 3 years, and know exactly what is going on.

If you have any comments/questions/suggestions, I am happy to work with you.

Do you feel like you would be able to meet your quotas along with your other staff jobs?

Your "I will build a wall" quip reminded me of this:

Vanelan : Being able to make my quota, and even exceed, wouldn't be a problem even with my two other staff jobs.

I currently am all over the board/chat rooms, so a focused attention would easily get it done.

I want to like you as a mod, I really do, because you've improved leaps and bounds from your beginnings on the site, but I need more from you than this. Everyone running wants to do this, or at least says they do.

What drives you? What motivates you to want to be a local, and carry the burden they have? Is it simply a need for attention, or is it something else?

Your biggest detractors would say that your biggest flaw is that you "are Barathemos" and say that your name is synonymous with being a poor quality user. What is it you would say to these detractors?

If elected, what is the biggest goal you have, what reform do you want to propose? You fit into a group of people who aren't exactly "core" users, and that works to your benefit here, since you have a real chance to make a change. What changes are you most adamant about making?

How much of the time you currently spend on vizzed are spent doing your current jobs?

Are you going to build the wall or force some one to build it for you?

SPEED LEGGY : I've been on vizzed for 3 years, about 2 of which, I quite honestly wasn't respected or liked in the community by staff, elites, or even trusted members. I already do carry a burden, and I handle it quite well. I am striving for Vizzed to be more of a safe place for someone to learn and grow, not somewhere where they see tyranny and can't be accepted for what they do to ultimately help them. Over these years, I've seen tons of mod teams, many of which I continue to see unfair treatment and hate for other members. The recent few classes of locals has been so much better, but I still want to be able to add to that. I want to help improve the mods image and help even the mods understand the community better. I am deeply rooted in the community at vizzed, and I want to learn everyone as a person, and so far, I have. I know many users personally, not just someone I see around. As staff, I somewhat know the disrespect the mods get, and hell, I've contributed to it. Helping vizzed involves helping user relations with the mods, which is something I am strongly for.

I've heard it. I've heard it all. I've been told I'm an awful quality user, but then I point at all my accomplishments here on vizzed. All of the good things I've done to the site. I've heard it, I've dealt with it. My name carries a bad quality, but I listen, I listen to the complains of my peers to make that name better. I'd tell them that they think of the name as the one from October 2013, January 2014, and September 2014. I'd tell them to look at the more recent me, and at everything good I've done over the past 10 months, and how I've rebounded from the dates about. I love the name, I love the burdens that come with it, only makes me better as a user of vizzed.

My answer to my biggest thing I'd do is above in my first answer. I want to improve image and user relations, something that is currently being brought up, but something they really isn't a person in the mod group who knows everything about. I want every single person who signs up to vizzed to find a comforting place here. Sure, there are bad users, and they're taken care of quickly, but the good users, I want to be able to form a great community around, that isn't all of these subgroups I've seen around. When vizzed is together, in all ranks of power, and ruled over by moderators that know the people, vizzed will be somehow more amazing than it already is. That's what I'm adamant of.

Vanelan : honest answer, maybe 5% at most. That's honestly something I'm going to work on come next month. I want to put at least 10% of my time at vizzed to be able to better do my staff jobs. 10% doesn't seem like much, but it is double what I have been doing and is still tons of time based off of my total time on vizzed. That would still leave tons of space for modding duties.

What do you believe to be your biggest obstacle in winning this election? In becoming a successful local? In changing perceptions?

Why do you think you will be a good enough mod to pass up someone with experience, like a Singelli or Snowdeath?

You find a plagiarized review on the board, what do you believe should be the steps you take in dealing with the issue?

SPEED LEGGY : I'd say my biggest obstacle is currently being able to gain the trust of users who have been on vizzed for a while and have seen me over the years. Gaining these users trust could be the difference between winning and losing this election.

In Being successful my biggest obstacle would honestly be getting my personal opinions out of the way to do my job. This isn't a big obstacle and I've been doing well with it for a while, so I don't feel it would be a huge problem.

Changing perceptions would be getting other users to believe in my visions and working with me. I feel like changing perceptions would be easy when we work together.

Most of the other users with experience have either gone on huge hiatus or just aren't on vizzed enough to know the people as well as I do, and honestly can't mod as well without knowing everyone that much. My constant activity puts me in a position to be able to make changes that I know the people would like.

Vanelan : I believe that I would ignore the words, edit the post, revoke cp and viz, post in the mod forum with proof that it was plagiarized, and inform the user that plageralizm isn't allowed.

Yeah, good luck with that.

To be honest, I'm considering voting for you, Bara, because you've done so well in this election race.

However, I have a couple of questions myself.

1. You've been tremendously improved since I met you, but what makes you think your previous tendencies wouldn't rear its ugly head again, like mine do once in a while?

2. Do you think this race is a popularity contest?

3. Would you give up your addiction to Doge for a local rank?

Snowdeath : Simple, I know these tendencies won't show back up because they haven't. I'm staff right now, and have been for a while, and these tendencies haven't even tried to return. Also, in learning to improve, I learned how to control them and get rid of them if they do pop up, so I don't feel it's a big concern for me.

Quite honestly, there has been no voting so I have no idea. I think this race is different however, I feel that because of it being a local mod, and all users having the ability to participate, I feel like the outcome will not be a popularity contest, but actually a good way of choosing a local. However, if not too many newer users participate, or if something goes drastically wrong, I feel like this could become a popularity contest. I sure hope it doesn't so we end up with the best possible mod.

OK in seriousness now, I agree with mrfe and Snowdeath.  You've matured a lot, and your replies here have proven that.  You've got my vote.  Also, I respect your love of Doge.  Doge truly is an excellent meme.

I have one last important question for you. It's important AT LEAST for me, so mind me.

What would you do, please in detail, if someone came to you in crisis, let's say, a suicidal gesture?

Snowdeath : If someone came to me, I'd help them. I'd try and convince them out of it. I know how all of that is, I've felt it myself, so I feel like I'd be able to help them.

If there was only 1 change you could make (and it would happen exactly how you envision it) what change would you make to Vizzed....

geeogree : I'd give users more of a voice. Right now, that's what is starting. With the recent new Mod Voting, and the thread you made in the underground, users have had more of an opportunity to voice themselves. Many users have talked to me about how power has been spread out on Vizzed, and I want to be able to have the mods listen to the users, not just the staff, more, which I am currently seeing steps for. 

That, naturally, isn't easy with the way power is spread out on the site, but little things, such as the new mod voting, has actually made a big difference in user interactions and higher appreciation for the mods, and hopefully, will allow users to get along better with the mods, which I know users are currently struggling with and have seen migrations away from the site. Luckily, with newly implemented ways of dealing with issues on Vizzed, the users are actually quite a bit happier, but I want to allow them to get along and respect the mods. That's the platform I'm basically running on, trying to strengthen relations between mods and normal users to reduce abuse of power and disrespect from the users.
