We will be united in our common interests.

Perhaps its fate that today is the 4th of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom, not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution -- but from annihilation.

We're fighting for our right to live, to exist.

And should we win the day, the 4th of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day when the world declared in one voice:

"We will not go quietly into the night!

We will not vanish without a fight!

We're going to live on!

We're going to survive!"

Today, we celebrate our Independence Day!
Wait.. Wrong spech.. Hold on... Here we go.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

So why should I be a mod? Simply because I'm going to do my job and get things done. I've been a mod for more than half a year before and I was always doing something, whether it was something revolving around some dispute, random flaming, or whatever else needed to be taken care of, and I would continue doing that if I'm a mod again.
What are some of these things?

1. I would do my favorite thing to do, which is basically behind the scenes stuff. I never sit and wait for something to happen or to get a report, I always went out and looked for something to do. Whether it was checking the CP logs, or going through the night before chat history every morning, I was always going through page after page of data looking for inconsistencies. I still do that now as a matter of fact, since the CP logs were made available to staff last month, I was able to find multiple re regs, some Viz fraud, because of going through Viz transfers, ratings, referrals, for half an hour a day, every day. In fact, a lot of the stuff I have done is still unknown to many users, even to David himself probably because most of the issues were taken care of at the source or only discussed with certain users, like the dozens of re regs I found, the info and guesses I had when the site was hacked last year, and even some users flaming others simply with post ratings and Trust Points.

That's the main thing that I will do as a mod, ill be looking where most people don't look. By doing this, I'm going to try to take care of problems right when they happen, or at the very least, take care of them before some users even realize that there was a problem in the first place.

2. This point kind of works together with my first point in that I'm not going to sit around and do nothing, I'm going to be to the point and I'm not going to let anything get by me, if I see something happen, whether it's in chat or in the forums, I'm going to take action. If I see something happening, I'm not going to just let it pass, or let someone else take care of it, because if I see it, then it's my concern as well, so if I have to, I'll take action myself, I'll report them to whoever, or i'll simply send this person a message, in addition to doing my own thing and looking for stuff, if something does actually happen and is brought to my attention, I'm going to try my best to take care of it one way or another.

That's really all there is to say, aside for that when you think of a mod, you think of someone active, you don't want to have someone who might only be able to be on for a little bit every day or a couple of days a week, you want someone who is active so that things can be taken care of right away and so that if someone has an issue that they want to get resolved, they know that they don't have to wait long to get assistance, and all of that is either what I would do as a mod or help towards as one, so vote for me if you want.

Well, this is about that time where the media goes and asks questions, so go and ask questions.

-----------------------------------------------------

Also, I may attempt a Q/A Livestream if you want to check it out, I'll try it at about 1 PM server time on my Twitch channel, and maybe there might even be a game giveaway in there.

While many candidates seem to understate the role of a local, you seem to overstate it. You seem to believe the role of a local is more akin to that of a global. While there's something to be said for having ambition, and for putting your best foot forward, it can also be annoying, as a global, for a local to be stepping on toes.

What do you plan on doing to combat that attitude?

There are a lot of questions about your credibility and integrity. Many would argue that the #AnyoneButZanderForMod2016 movement has as much steam as your campaign. Why do you believe you are seen disfavorably by anyone?

I'll have more followup questions for sure, but I want to know the answers to these two before I ask further ones.

You were a local before and you were active at the time.
Under what circumstances did you resign?

Do you feel those circumstances could be something that might be an issue in the future? Why or why not?

Vanelan : I would like to say that there was an understanding between me and geeo to step down and come back at a later time. I don't think it may be an issue anymore for a variety of reasons, such as how much time has passed, the other people who are in habit, and my activity level, so I don't see any issues because of it.

SPEED LEGGY : What I'm saying isn't that it's more like a global, but more like they are supposed to be helping the global how you can. As for the attitude, there's really nothing I can do, every person is going to have different people going after them for different reasons, and I know that most of the time, confronting these don't always lead to the results you want, so if someone has an issue, ill usually pay no mind to them because most of the time whenever I experienced something like this, They were just doing it out of anger or jealousy, while there was a good reason for what I did.

Sure, while I was a mod before, this got me some enemies, but it also got me on the right side of some big guys as well.

As for the discredit stuff, lm going to say its because of how seriously I took my roles last time. Like how I said, there were people who were my enemies, they would get mad at me because I would report them, or mute them, or whatever whenever I saw then doing something wrong. There were some users who felt "betrayed" because either I would report a friend when they did something wrong or betrayed when I would report/mute them when no other mods would. People were used to so much slack and leeway from many of the mods back then that they started hounding me when I actually did something about it, and I know this because every day users were telling me this "why can't you be more like" "He didn't do this last time" So thats where most of it comes from.

Some would say you are tone-deaf to the animosity around you. Would you say this is accurate?

If you can't change your attitude, why should we change our minds about you? Why are you averse to being flexible?

You plan to just ignore those who have issue with you? I just want to make sure I heard that right.

Who are the "big guys" and why do you think this works in your favor?

SPEED LEGGY : I wouldn't say I'm tone deaf towards it, I just don't really care about what others think (if that's what the question is about) I don't really have a reason to worry about what people think of me. I know its there and I dont let it bother me.

I'll mostly be flexible, its just that if someone does something that gives a reason to stop, I will.

I guess this would kind of goes together with the other Q's, ill only ignore them if they simply don't want to work things out. If there's somebody who has an issue with me, and I can work with them, I will try, but if they are content on having not listening, and its not bothering anyone else, then it would save both of us time and conflict, if we don't interact too much.

I would say that one of them now is geeo and I wouldn't exactly say that it works as a favor, but it's nice to know that you essentially could have some support and be backed by someone above you.
