Do you like burgers or hot dogs better? Like I said in the thread's description, this thread is more aimed at Americans (since these 2 foods are very common in the U.S.) but of course others can post here as well

I really enjoy eating both of these foods, so when my family has a choice between burgers and hot dogs I typically get one of each. However, I prefer burgers. There's usually a lot more flavor to them than hot dogs, especially in restaurants where you can get a ton of other foods in your burger. Also I like the taste of the burger itself (even without the extra things) slightly more than the taste of a hot dog.

Hot dogs just don't have the greasey type of feel and taste that burgers have, and Plus I have hot  dogs nearly everyday for lunch and snacks (+2 for that)

Both options are quite delicious in my opinion, but I would also have to agree and say that burgers are better. Of the two options, you can do a lot more with a burger, and they also taste a lot more flavorful as a result. Grilled hot dogs are also a really good, classic option, but I still have to give it to burgers because you can do a lot more with them as far as ingredients and flavor go.

Hot dogs. There's not a dog that resembles a burger, I can assure you. Burgers don't have a semi-circle bun. Burgers aren't horizontal. Hot dogs DO, however, have a dog that resembles itself, have a semi-circle bun, and a horizontal shape. Also, hot dogs taste really good to me, so that's a thing too.

Razor-987 : Yeah, there's an amazing amount of things you can do to make a burger better or different, or just simply to add more to it. For example, using A1 steak sauce to make the burger black, like Burger King did for their Halloween Burger. But that's not an example of something good you can do XD

As far as I'm concerned, Burgers are so much better than hot dogs. With burgers, you can put bacon, lettuce, cheese, and anything else you want on them and it will be amazing! Hot Dogs however aren't that great unless the have chili on them in my opinion. I'd much rather have a Johnsonville Brat than a hot dog.

I think this pretty easily goes to burgers though. I mean seriously, burgers taste better and they're bigger. Plus, you can throw the garden on it and it'll taste even better! I just don't like hotdogs nearly as much - unless they're smothered on nacho cheese. That's the bomb, then.

Hot dogs are animal byproduct, a weird texture, and don't taste good with anything but ketchup.

Burgers on the other hand are made from much better food sources (ground beef is still better than hotdog meat) and taste great with fries, ketchup, cheese, spices, barbecue sauce.... the list goes on and on.

I like both, but I'm going to have to go with burgers if they are made the right way. I don't like burgers if the meat is too tough, if it's easy to chew then I will love it and put all sorts of tough toppings on it, but if the meat needs some chewing, like a lot of resteraunt burgers, then I probably wont like it. I love hot dogs from 7-11 though, I put all sorts of things on them like cheese, relish, red onions and stuff.

I think these foods are about as common in Sweden as they are in the US so I figured I'd answer.

Burgers all the way.  I like a nice blue cheese bacon burger hand made.  So many different ways to make them and the flavors are always different depending on how you prepare them.  Hot dog buns can only hold so much, but you can pile a burger to the sky if you wanted to...which I like to do most of the time and then cut it up so I can actually eat it, lol.

Oh that's easy burgers because you can stack topping but with hot dogs you can only add certain things like mustard or mayo.With burgers you can add onions, tomatoes, lettuce,etc and burgers have better seasoning but bottom line that's why I chose burgers over hot dogs so thank you for taking the time to read this and have a good day.

This should be a no-brainer. Whereas most hot dogs are pre-processed leftover guts and stuff off a packing houses floor, and a most burgers are 100% actual beef? I mean, unless one is uneducated, one would go for the burger if not for the flavor, then for one's health.
