Today I went to a store with my mom to buy some things but when I was putting the things we bought, I accidentally put a gluten-free croissant in my bag that was lying on the desk too. When we got home my mom asked me why it was in our bag and I said that I thought she had bought it but she said I probably stole it accidentally. We just ate it, it wasn't delicious but it was decent.

So did you ever stole something accidentally? Share your funny stealing stories here!

I accidentally stole our Bentley once and wrecked it.  True story.

OK really, I stole a walnut once.  It was in my pocket, I was going to ask Mom if I could get it, but forgot about it.

There was one time back in the 3rd grade when the book fair was around school, and I stole one of their books. I think it was a cheat book for Gameboy Advance games, and DS games. I think. I still have it, too.

pacman1755 : A cheat book for games? If you still have it that would be funny And did you use it?

I once bought some cheat program called "Action Replay" for my psp. It included a CD (that you need to put in the computer) and a usb for the psp. I tried it and it didn't work out so well. So, I put everything back in it's box and returned it to the store for a full refund. Then I looked at my own desk at home and I realized that I forgot to put the usb back in the box before returning it. Oh well. Free usb for my psp. Yay. This happened when I was a little kid.

Yeah, I've accidentally stolen a pack of gum most recently. I was in a gas station, put a pack of gum in my pocket to buy it after I finished shopping (long road trip and my hands were full), and forgot to pay for it. :s I felt absolutely horrible the entire trip lol.

I once left a grocery store with an avocado in the pocket of my hoodie. I was so amazed at how easy it was to take that I started to sneak an avocado every time I went to the store.

I have stolen some things when I was little, but I do not believe it was ever by accident. It was mostly just little innocent me believing that you could just have whatever you saw, and that stealing was not really a thing. So, I would take candy from the grocery store quite often. Then, once when I was a bit older (still young at the time, I have not done this in a long time), I took one of those Wonka Doughnuts. I went home, and went to eat it, and my brother told on me that I had stolen it. My dad drove me to apologize and return it, and I learned my lesson. It was extremely embarrassing and I was scared for two whole days. I do not think I spoke until the third day, even. When you are little, something like that can be extremely traumatizing.

Not really, I have never stolen anything on accident. If I did, I would realize it before it was too late, or some other weird thing would happen.

pacman1755 : Oh, maybe it was worth stealing it then

mohammedroxx3 : Haha, I can already imagine a little boy happy with an USB stick! Do you still have that USB stick?

TheReaper7290 : Oh, I know what you mean. You stole the last cookie in the jar!

mrfe : One of my teachers had something alike when he wanted to buy a postcard. His hands were sweaty, so he put it in his bag. You can fill in what happened after that.

TheJmsGamer : Crying for games? That's not a bad idea Do you still play that game?

AnotherInuFan : Haha, do you still do it? THUG ALERT, HIDE YOUR ADVOCADOS

sop281 : I know, I once had that there was some guy on the street mimicking. He asked for money but I didn't have anything and even though my grandma was about to give me money, I did this: So the guy acted like 'oh no, oh no, he does the face!' as we walked away. A few minutes, we passed by, that mimic guy did like this: and all the kids around him had to laugh. I was very embarrassed.

juuldude : lol. I still do have it and it still works pretty well. XD

Though, just a possible suggestion about this thread... If necessary, maybe this could be moved to the underground forum for safety reasons, though, I doubt anyone is going to get in trouble but just in case. It's your choice. (Or the local mod+'s choice.)

Common things like the teachers pen's and pencils, always forget to return it the same day but always later on.

Other than that the only thing I have stolen by accident is an Korean music CD from an book store. I was looking at it to compare and contract with my own CD in my other hand. In the next moment someone quickly tapped my shoulder asking me for directions on looking for a certain book. They assumed I worked there and I knew the store pretty well and decided to guide them. Thus upon doing so I accidentally put my CD to replace the store's CD. After helping the person finding their book I left the store right after to go buy something to eat. I didn't noticed I stolen the CD until later on that same day when I was eating my dinner. I decided to keep it and I never went back for my old CD.

A rather boring story of something I accidentally stole.

Well this one time I accidentally put a gun to mans head and hijacked his car. Little did I know he left his pack of gum in there so i guess I accidentally stole a few sticks of gum lol.

I feel kind of bad about it now that I look back at it. It was spearmint so I feel bad for him.
