Do you listen to music while sleeping? Maybe to get to sleep but forget to turn it off? Or you play relaxing music that helps you stay asleep all night long?

I've done it before and it's a sometimes sort of deal. I've done it by accident when I fell asleep at the computer and my playlist was running.

I have sometime listen to music while I lay down and a couple of times, I have left it on while I was sleeping, and when I wake up, I realize I used up my whole battery life for my iPod.

Most of the time, it's music that won't make me fall asleep, so that's mostly the reason why I don't do that, but sometime it happens with me.

Very rarely do I listen to music while trying to go to sleep. The noise usually keeps me awake, and I cannot fall asleep with it on. Sometimes though, I am simply too tired, and my mind can still go blank. I also have to preserve battery life, and even if I have it charged, it can occasionally deplete faster than the battery can recharge. That is for my phone. I do not have to worry about that when I use my [boombox], but it can still be difficult to listen to music to go to sleep.

I can't sleep without a radio and lamps on.
Why? I explain.
In my entire childhood ( that means even now ) my dad worked all night in the neighbour room.
He turned on a lot of lights and listened to radio so I had to get used to it.
Also I live near the train station which is very loud but I don't even notice it anymore.

BTW, the loudest sound here are the birds in the morning. You might think it is nice to listen to birds but in my town you hear like 20 birds chirp at once.

No, no, heck no. I would never be able to sleep if music was playing, I don't sleep well as is, that is the last thing I need. Have you have tried to sleep with GG Allin and the Murder Junkies or the Sex Pistols blaring in your ear? I bet it would be close to impossible.

All I can say is that I don't recommend listening to Aphex Twin, his music can control the sort of dream you have and it's not always pleasant.

No, I don't listen to music while going to sleep. I use my clock radio to help wake me up (most days), but I don't use it before I go to sleep. Even if it was on low, it would probably keep me awake which is why I don't really bother using it before bed.

Yes, well sometimes when i'm not in my house like for example sleeping in a hotel or a friend's house mostly because it makes me feel at home (don't know why though) but i always put  my soft Rock music or classic Pop one or another Metal but it is not that hard.
