We all get nervous about something at one point in our lives, sometimes over little things. No matter what it is we are nervous over, we sometimes show signs of it. So in this thread, I am asking what signs you show when you are nervous about something. For example, do you excessively sweat, pace around a room, stutter, fidget or panic? Everyone does something different when they are nervous for something, I tend to tap my foot up and down excessively and pace around a room if I am nervous or anxious about something. I hope this thread isn't making you nervous for instance...so don't feel shy to tell what you do when you're nervous! Just post below what you tend to do when you are anxious/ nervous about something!

So then, what do you tend to do when being nervous?

I sweat a lot, but just my armpits not anywhere else, I shake, my stomach gets that tingly feeling, I play with my hands, sometimes I pace.

Well it goes in a path of 3 stages most of the time. The first is word stuttering, second will be sweating (oh how very cliche) and finally I give up. Luckily I rarely get nervous, so I am usually ignorant to the 3 stages. When it does happen on scarce occasions I really feel them in the motion.

I tend to shake a bit, small jittery nerves. My hands get cold, and I take small breaths. 

My voice gets all cracked up and sometimes my throat feels dry so I can't talk, and sometimes I may sweat a lot. 

I usually just fidget a little when I'm nervous about something. I'm terrible at acting normal when I'm nervous about something in front of other people, like I'll keep looking around the room a lot or I'll keep moving my legs around a lot.

Sweat. That is it. And I am a BIG sweater. So, it is easy to tell

I tend to talk to much, its rambling really. I just go on and on, and never about anything that actually has to do with anything else going on, just really nonsense, or I can't breath and I end up passing out.  I did that on my first day of work once, it was pretty horrible.

I usually just raise my eyebrows and that is pretty much it.

bite nails is usually the only thing

I do a few things when I'm nervous. I touch my face and fidget a lot. Part of that is, I can't sit still (almost like I'm doing the "potty dance", I guess, LOL). I think it's pretty obvious to others.
I also get red in the face sometimes when I'm nervous and shy, which is a huge giveaway.

If it's prolonged anxiousness, I start biting my nails.

I start popping my fingers when I am nervous

When I get nervous, I tend to walk all over the place most, if not, all the time, not really sure why I do, and occasionally, I do shake and my heart beats a little quicker.

IgorBird122 : Yeah that happens to me as well, I pace and my heart rate naturally gets faster. I also tend to sweat and also shake my hands when I get nervous. It happens, but it is only for really nerve racking things like wondering how I do on an ap quiz or something serious like that, but that is what I will generally do.


Koda : Yeah I tend to do that as well some times, as well as shake my foot up and down if I am sitting down. I do that out of anxiety. 

When I'm nervous I start shaking weirdly, if I'm speaking my tongue flips out causing me to skip words and I get cold from time to time. It happened this morning.

Depends on the situation but my spine usually tingles a lot I get a little queasy and bite my bottom lip sometimes yank on my beard a bit

I was diagnosed with Social Anxiety, so you can just IMAGINE what happens. Plus ADD/ADHD totally doesn't help. I stutter, I fidget, I get aggravated, especially when someone keeps telling me what to do and I'm already nervous. My temper flares explosively at that point. I tend to feel my chest tighten up, I cant breath, I have to take DEEP breaths, I feel like I have to GO GO GO and nothing is happening. My mind shuts off and I go into auto pilot. 

I cant think, I cant breath, and I cant calm down. Yep, I'm a lost cause. LOL
