Not only the game is one of the PS1's finest shmups, its soundtrack is in an amazingly weird, jaw-droppingly trippy, fantastically unique electronica style that is at the same very otherworldly and extremely tense. It rocks, and anyone looking for an unique musical experience should check it out (and maybe play the game too!).

Listening to Supergrass.  The album is I should Coco.  Song is "She's so loose."  

If anyone likes Britpop...catchy melodies, upbeat tempos, structured song writing, harmonies, etc. definitely check these guys out.  I'd recommend them for anyone who likes Beatles, Blur, Oasis, etc.  I'd say if you're going to check out this album, start with, "Alright."  If you were around and listening to music in the 90s, you may recognize it.

Right now, I'm listening to "Chilly Down" from the movie the Labyrinth.  

I'm sure almost everyone here has heard of or seen the Labyrinth, but if not...watch it!  1986.  Starring David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly.  Made by Jim Henson (of Muppet fame.)  Need I go on?  Solid, solid movie.  Awesome set art.  Great music.  Even as a grown man, I still love  this silly movie full of puppets.  

Just to be clear, it's playing for my son.  It's his favorite movie to date, along with Monster in Paris and Pocahontas.  Haha, this kid's awesome.  When I was a wee one, my favorite movies were the Wizard of Oz and the Labyrinth.  I have a good feeling about the boy.

I would currently be listening to "Bring The Madness" by Excision and the Pegboard Nerds featuring Mayor Apes*** (censored because family friendly site). Sounds even better than I thought it would from the WIP used in the 2014 Shambhala mix. You can cetianly tell were Excision had the most influence over the song, not that thats a bad thing. It just means the song gets a super hyped feeling... Imagine what it would do to a floor full ravers hehe.
