The Metroid Prime Trilogy Part 1: Metroid Prime: AWESOMENESS!!!
Hello and welcome to a new review!
This time the next 3 reviews will be all about the Metroid Prime Trilogy: A
re-release of the original console versions of Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2:
Echoes, and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Each with Wii Remote controls as well
as a 16:9 aspect ratio, and other stuff like blooming effects. I'll get into
more about the graphics later in this review. In the meantime, about this game.
The first 3d installment of the Metroid series ever since Super Metroid.
However, it was bashed repeatedly because of the first person approach. But, as
soon as it has released, all those negativity has been neutralized and in its
place, was pure joy INCARNATE!!! It was that good, or was it?! That's what I'm
here to find out. WARNING: There can and will be spoilers in this review. So,
if you don't want your experience spoiled; I SUGGEST YOU STOP READING RIGHT NOW
AND PLAY THE GAME FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! It's 20$ on the E-shop anyways.

Story: 10 (This is great stuff!)

Oh, the story! It begins when Samus
discovers a distress beacon coming from a Frigate in orbit above Tallon IV.
Samus decides to check it out and five seconds after entering, we find out that
this frigate belongs to the Space Pirates. What were they doing in there? Biological
experiments on the inhabitants---that went horribly wrong! This releases some
parasites all around the ship. Samus takes out their leader, the queen
parasite. This prompts the ship to activate self destruct, and upon escaping,
she comes across a ressurected Ridley with metal prosthetics. Joy! Ridley
leaves the ship onto Tallon IV with Samus giving chase. Upon landing, we find
that the Chozo once lived here and went extinct here because of the
"Worm" and a "Great Poison". We find out that this
"Great Poison" is known as Phazon and it has the ability to mutate

Metal Sonic Hyperdrive (2013)
05-30-14 09:18 PM
And I thought 2.0 was final, Metal Sonic Hyperdrive Review.
Just to be honest, I did NOT expect there to be another release of Metal Sonic Hyperdrive. But to my surprise, there is another release, I played it on my Samsung Galaxy Discover using a mobile genesis emulator, and to be one of the entries for the Sonic Hacking Contest? I could not believe my eyes here, so I downloaded it and played it, and I have a lot to say about this. Sooooo HERE WE GO!

(There is no story, AGAIN, so let's skip to the gameplay)

Gameplay: 8 "Fun!"    Difficulty: 7 "Challenging"

The gameplay *laughs jerkishly* HAHAHAHAhahaheheheh... It's........ BETTER! I'm not kidding, it is actually better! Following the same formula as the games and the same characters. Metal Sonic can do a jumpdash, Sonic is Sonic CD Sonic, Somari *Why Mario????* is an adventurer, *Slow surprising tone* Kirby can inhale and has a double jump for some reason *back to normal*, The creator Darkon360 (Also called the Lone Devil for some reason) Can double jump, glide, and is just OP and pure awesome, and that's it. But now, how it plays *why didn't I cover this before???* Now for some reason, I just felt like, the creator of this game actually READ my review of his previous version, and took that into account into another update for the hack. First off, The OP wall jump, IS GONE!!! You heard me right, GONE, and the levels actually add more challenge into it, bottomless pits are more plentiful than previous updates, platforming obstacles are much more harder AND challenging to boot due to the deletion of that OP wall jump, and is replaced with that devil you NEVER look forward to in a Sonic Game, WATER LEVELS, and this time, in the most unexpected place EVER!!! So be prepared, and the bosses, be ready for a challenge as they bring the BEEF this time, and the final boss is still the same, hardest boss in the game, so whatevers and whatnot, the gameplay is fun and the game is challenging, ON TO THE NEXT............. uhhhhh......... THING!!!Read the rest of this Review
Knuckles' Chaotix
04-20-13 12:10 PM
It's Chaos in Newtrogic High Zone! KC: Review
On the pathetically short-lived 32X with It's bad games that bit the dust, there's one truly memorable, It's called Knuckles' (Or Knux') Chaotix. For this review, and every review I will do, I will share my and only my experiences with the game, I have to be honest with my reviews, NO cussing, false facts, or dishonesty in this review. And one thing, people consider this game a spin-off series of the franchise but due the gameplay style, It's a Sonic game people! Let's get started!

Graphics: 10

The graphics are totally awesome, the bright colors and vibrant atmosphere tones the perfect graphics, you will see a colorful game here, the 32-bit expanded color pallette just sweetens the deal. The sprites are top-notch as well, the sprites are well polished with a touch of full detail within the graphics. The animations take up less frames but looks smooth and definitely worth your time. The graphics can really show what the 32X is capable of like, sprites coming at your face or away from you, 3d polygonic graphics with textures at a high FPS and many more capabitilites as well. And finally, the day-night transition packs ambience into the graphics, making Sonic's world oh so colorful!

Sound: 9

The sound will blow your mind as well, almost, and I mean ALMOST all the tracks are very catchy to hum to. Seriously, there's no reason to not hum or bop to this music. But, I wish it was more catchy like in Sonic 3 and Knuckles, because well, very few of the tracks I can't hum to and are not catchy at all. :( but :D

Gameplay: 8

There are 5 characters to choose from, 7 if stage select. Knuckles is just as acrobatic as in the Genesis games, he can glide and climb walls but is a bit faster in this game.
Vector can apparently double his jump and climb walls, but, with a different control scheme. Espio is the fastest character and can run on walls and ceilings without any some sort of speed. Mighty is just like Sonic but Ninja ... Read the rest of this Review
Metal Sonic Hyperdrive (Beta 2)

Metal Sonic in Hyperdrive! A review
Metal Sonic has been the most famous rival of Sonic the Hedgehog for over a decade and a half and was best known for It's race in Sonic CD, Out of curiosity when I was searching for a new game to play in the Retro Game Room and I saw, a ROM hack of Sonic 1, Metal Sonic Hyperdrive. Out of curiosity... I didn't know what to expect, So I played through the game and at first I thought It was awesome and now, It's... Uninspiring. Rules of the Review: NO Cussing, Swearing, or Yelling. I must be honest with my reviews. Only share only MY experiences with the game. AND STAY CALM!!! Warning: Spoilers

Graphics: 7/10 Good

I'd say that the graphics are good otherwise barely changed from the original genesis game, the colors were picked at pure random and everything else I recall "not as good", Don't get me wrong, the graphics are still good, but, I find them uninspiring and just plain lazy. Sure I find the layers implemented carefully but they should do a better job polishing the colors and add a little more detail... Too bad it's the final upgrade or I would've been relieved. :/

Sound: 8/10 Great and Kinda Catchy

The sounds never change and It's still a classic, memorable thing to remember for years and remixed some Sonic songs has even been changed and some are just not Catchy and otherwise annoying. I like how Metal Sonic's music is remixed from the chaotix and each character can have their own track... It's probably worth it to listen to.

Gameplay: 9/10 Awesome

The gameplay and controls are really awesome... You can spend hours with this fun control! You can play as 5 characters: M. Sonic, The Creator's Character (Darkon360), Somari (S. Mario), Kirby, and the real Sonic the Hedgehog. M. Sonic has the Spin Dash, Super Peel Out, and Jump Dash. Darkon is AWESOME, He has no spindash, A Highly Effective Double Jump, A Launch attack!!! Somari has the Spin Dash as well and even has the Jump Dash. And Sonic's control scheme is e... Read the rest of this Review
Sonic 1 Megamix (beta 4.0)

Megamixing the Sonic: Sonic Megamix GEN and SCD
In 1994, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles got a final score of a skyrocketing 10 OUT OF 10, the colors are beautiful, the music is catchy, and It has the perfect control for a Sonic game, and now a couple years later, Sonic Retro released a Rom hack for the Sega Genesis, and the Sega Cd. What I'm going to do here is that I'm going to tell you my experiences with the game(s) and tell you how much I love this game, no cussing or classic translations allowed, while the original games hold presence, we well be looking at the modern Sonic from 1998-2013 (today). So let's get this over with okay?

Graphics: 9

The graphics are AMAZING!!! The graphics are fond of the Genesis games and new additions, colors, and scenery within the game, the animations are SUPERB!!! The animations were implemented carefully if not stolen and/or used by other Sonic games, as a result, this game's graphics, sprites, and scenery are colorful and vibrant like a smack to Sonic 1,2,3 and Knuckles. However, due to the graphics style of the game can sometimes get out of control and can even crash your game if the save states (and possibly the gameplay) can get too hasty and impatient :/

Sound: 10!!!

The sound and music is AMAZING!!! The nature of the sound, again take back to the original genesis games...most of the time, when Sonic gets a 1up, the 1up tune plays, and after it, Sonic says "Yes!" but that doesn't matter. The music is CATHCY and NOSTALGIC!!! The tunes were from not just Sonic games, but from other series as well, such as Dyna Bros. Or Mega Man, and even snuck in some Michael Jackson music as a bonus. :D

Addictiveness: 9

Not much to say, but the nature and physics of this game will blow your mind and keep you in the game forever with promising box art in BOTH VERSIONS!!!

Story: 6

The story doesn't have much to offer, but of how much it offers it's a-okay, and it's classic!!! The story is that an evil scientist named... Read the rest of this Review
