Hello, I want to know what language you'll pick if you decide you want to learn another language, do you already know more than one language?
I took Spanish and German in high-school but didn't get very far, last year I tried to learn some Russian, and at least got the alphabet down, but I can't roll my r's so I got discouraged and gave up.

The next language I'm going for is Japanese, which thanks to its writing is one of the hardest languages to learn.

I am nearly quadrilingual at the moment: Dutch, English, Egyptian Arabic, and while not entirely fluent at German yet, i'm still pretty okay at it.

For some reason I have always wanted to learn Korean but i just can't be bothered to learn such a difficult language.

I'd love to be able to speak standard arabic as well.

I took Spanish, French, and italian in school, but it's been so long that I forgot just about all of it, so if I wanted to learn a language, it would probably be one of those so I can use them again, maybe French would be my first option.

Right now I am fluent in a variety of languages. English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin) and Russian. I don't mean I know a few words here and there, I mean I'm fluent in each of them. At least 75% fluent, even in my weakest language (Chinese)

Yeah, I have no life, go figure.

Right now I want to learn Italian. Like really want to learn it. Am in the process of learning it too, but haven't made much progress.

Honestly I just want to learn it because of a song I heard like 3 weeks ago.

Besides Spanish, Catalan and English, which I'm currently fluent in, I'm planning on starting classes for German and Japanese after the summer. I'm also interested in Italian, French and possibly Russian. I'm open to learn any language, because it's one of the things I excel at, so this list could be expanded if I ever need it.

Japanese is my top list. Then I was told I should learn some French. I used to be very good at French when I was still back in school. Anyways I still need to pick up where I left off and try and relearn what I have forgotten. Because when you don't do them for a while you will start to forget what you once learn to do with them. @.@

Right now, I only know English. I'm going into my Sophomore year of high school, and Spanish class is mandatory for Sophomores. I have no idea how I'll be doing in that class. The only language I actually want to learn is Japanese because I'm a weeb. Kidding, it would much more enjoyable to watch subbed anime if I know Japanese, and maybe if I decide to ever go to Japan that'll help me.

My language experience so far:
-English (native speaker)
-Japanese (4 years in college (major), studied abroad during college, maintain current level with occasional translating / Japanese gaming and anime / Skyping with host mom twice a week who I stayed with when studying abroad)
-Spanish (4 years in high school, a bit in college; forgot most of it but can understand some even though I wouldn't remember how to form sentences or most vocab off the top of my head)
-Sanskrit (1 year college, maybe I remember a few letters which are also used in some modern Indian languages, and a few words. Even when I was taking the class, it was mostly looking things up from notes though. This was the hardest language I studied by far because of the way the grammar works.)
-American Sign Language (1 semester college, I forget everything and was terrible at it, but it was interesting nonetheless. For my final project, I signed the Pokemon theme (translated by the teacher) )
-Chinese (1/2 semester college, I forget everything except "little sister" and "hello". lol)
-Korean (Self-taught for a couple weeks, I learned and forgot hangul, but I remember a couple letters and how to say hello.)
-Russian (Self-taught for a week, I learned and forgot how to pronounce Russian letters. I don't remember anything.)

Now then! To answer the question! I most want to just reach fluency with Japanese, since even though I majored in it, I'm not nearly at native level fluency and I'm pretty bad at reading/writing kanji especially.

If we're talking miraculously learning a new language instantly with no effort, I think I'd go with Korean just because I like the way it sounds.

The languages I already know are English since that's my native language, and Spanish because I've taken 3 years of Spanish class in school.

I don't have much interest in learning another language, but if I had to pick one it would be American Sign Language. My uncle and aunt are both deaf so it can be difficult communicating with them. They can read people's lips, but I have to talk slowly and make sure I enunciate each word for them to understand. Learning American Sign Language would make conversations with them much more convenient and I'm sure it would make them very happy.

Well since Spanish would be too easy of an answer for me, and I already know some French from my high school days.

I think I would say I want to learn the language from either side of my parents' heritage...my mom's side is Norweigan and my dad's side is German. I think it would be fun and even kind of cool to learn the languages of my ancestors. I already know only a couple of little words in Norweigan...but that's only because my grandfather speaks the language fairly decent. If I had to pick though, I'd go with learning German first.

Chinese. I took 2 years of it at school and I was kind of interested in the culture. I only know the basic like "hello" and "my name is...", but I forgot most of the complex stuff. Because this is the summer I'm trying to teach myself more Chinese.

I would like to learn Japanese. I'm already familiar with Chinese, and I'm pretty good at Korean, so Japanese is the only one left :p. I'd be able to watch much anime that don't have English dubs/subs.

Other than Asian languages, I will say that I do want to become more fluent in Spanish and possibly learn Swedish as well (I know like, 3 words in Swedish, and I took an year of Spanish).

I mean, I just finished two years of Spanish, but that's not at all what I like. Freshman year I passed by one point, and this year I got a C+ average. If anything, I'd like to either learn Portugese, since I train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and would like to be able to go down to Brazil and train with the masters, or German just because that's my bloodline.

i learned japanese from anime

I'm looking to learn German and Italian. German because that's my ancestry, and Italian because I just find the language really fascinating. I should probably learn Spanish considering there's more Spanish-speakers here than English-speakers, but I don't really care for Spanish for some reason. I've tried learning it in the past to no avail.

I took Spanish and French in High School, though pretty much all of that is down the drain at this point. They say the best time to learn a language is when you're very young, and gets harder to do as you age.

The one language I would want to learn at this point would be Japanese. I don't really care for learning how to write it (although that would be nice too), but generally just how to speak it so I could travel there much more easily. There's also the much more practical reason of being able to appreciate anime without subtitles, though I've stopped watching anime nearly as much as I used to, and I'm not going to be travelling anytime soon, so this feels like a fleeting dream to an extent. Though I would still be extremely grateful for the opportunity to learn regardless.

I know Spanish (native). I am trying to learn German but, it seems to be a bit harder for me to pronounce words from the back of my throat. But, I'd like to learn Italian and Portuguese as well. Wouldn't mind learning some Russian or Chinese either.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
