If you all haven't heard, American singer Prince Rogers Nelson (better known as Prince) has passed away on April 21, 2016 in his studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota. Local officers and paramedics found the iconic singer dead in his studio's elevator.

I felt saddened over the news of his death and it was unexpected, and he died at a young age of 57. RIP Prince, your music is amazing and your legacy will live on.

I'll be honest. I've never heard any of his songs. I've heard of him as a musician but never bothered to listen to his music.

However. It's sad when anyone dies, especially one so young(yes, 50 is young. People should die at around 80 at the least). Sad to see another life lost. Rip Prince.

Even though I didn't listen any of his songs, I do recognize his name. I remember seeing him in the news just days ago, but I can't exactly remember what it was because it wasn't a wordy article, not even a quarter of the page.

I just have to wonder what killed him at such an early age. 57 years isn't long at all, and it's been determined that there's no evidence of foul play that has been found yet. I don't think I listened to his music, but it's still a tragic and very unexpected thing to happen.

He was pretty young. What on earth happened? A lot of celebrities have died this year. I remember only a few Prince songs. But I liked them regardless. This guy was HUGE, even though I wasn't exactly a follower of this guy. He had some great music that will definitely not be forgotten.

My father texted me while I was at work talking about what I needed to get at the grocery store and stuff and I was going through ( in my head mind you) how much money I needed to take out for my car payment as well . Then I quickly got another text from my dad telling me prince died, and I stopped cause I was confused at first then I put two and two together and realized a great musician has left us too soon and is gone up above to play sing to his heart contains with Michael Jackson and other inspiring and amazing musicians. Purple rain was my all time favorite song by prince and since it was raining today I often said to my co workers at work its raining outside prince must be singing.

I definitely considered Prince as one of the top 5 songwriters of all time. Lately, it seems we are losing all the good ones. First David Bowie, now Prince. And the fact he died so young as well hit me really hard.
