Sometimes I would block other users layouts around the board. Usually because I have some problems reading it due to the color, design, background, etc. Beyond that, I don't see any other reason why people would want to block 'em. Except maybe for disliking the layout itself in general. To be honest, If I ever came across anyone who had one about gary oak, I'd probably block it regardless. But in all the seriousness, I really don't any point in blocking layouts other then for the ones that I just stated above.

I block certain ones that I find really annoying but I ignore the rest.

More often than not I go straight to "reply" rather than reading the thread with all the layouts. The conversation order is reversed but I'm so used to it after years of doing this that it is easier to do this way for me. And I don't waste time loading an extra page while replying.

Depends on the layout, I think I have only one blocked and truth be told that might've been an accident. I would if I felt like it mattered enough to block a layout. 

I also sometimes just turn them off entirely if I want to save data. But I mean you're basically gonna get 3 types of answer from this thread.

Back when I was the layout manager, I used to just delete the really bad ones that didn't fit the site rules. Rarely Do I block the others because I pretty much do what Geeo was referring to, and just go straight to the reply page so I don't have to worry about looking through them all.

The only ones I block are the ones that have really difficult to read text.

I don't ever block any layouts. If I see an inappropriate layout that offends me or may offend another user, or it's just inappropriate in general, I will report it to the mods. I don't see a need to block it since I am inappropriate myself, but since it's against the rules here on Vizzed I don't show it.

To this day I have not blocked a single layout, mostly because I like to see all the cool layouts and how they express the user that uses them. I'm sort of a customization person, one who likes to decorate everything that he/she can. So no I never blocked a layout and I doubt I ever will since I love seeing everyone's layouts.

If their layouts are particularly ugly and unreadable, then I might block their layouts. I've only ever done it a couple of times, and neither user is active any more, so I currently don't have any layouts blocked at all.

I have blocked a few before, mostly the ones that caused my phone to lag, whether that was from poor coding or heavy resource usage (multiple layers, etc.) I don't know, but there were a few popping up like that for a while and they nearly broke the site for me, so I blocked them. One other layout I blocked because I found it extremely offensive, and it was meant to be. I don't know if that user was allowed to continue using that layout or not, nor do I care to know. I just didn't want to have to see it myself.

But I too skip straight to reply just as often as not, and so rarely see many layouts at all. It saves on data usage and makes the pages load faster (which is especially nice when I'm out of high speed data). Now once I have a normal connection again and I'm on PC, I'll go back to opening the usual way because I do like seeing new layouts pop up once in a while.

I'm not going to lie....I did for some people. But! It was by accident so I managed to unblock it. You see when the page was loading and I was about to click onto the comment part of the profile to say something the block came up and before you know it...I accidentally blocked someone's layout. It doesn't happen anymore this was in the past so I feel happy that it doesn't happen anymore. @.@

 I block all of them, and I'm not joking when I say layouts do not help getting my friends to use Vizzed. It's already hard to get them to use Vizzed in general (they don't like the site's green and blue coloring, it's easier during Christmas though) but once they get on the board and see the layouts they just leave.

I can only think of one layout I've ever blocked, and I don't even remember what it looked like. I just remember that it was utterly offensive and probably got banned from vizzed anyways. Yup!  I've blocked some layouts.  I hope that in the future we can block avatars or userpics, as well.  There are some rare layouts I find to be inappropriate, so I block them so I won't have to see them.  But these are the exception, not the rule.
