As a Mormon, I believe that every body is given a spirit, which is basically our true consciousness.  When we die, our spirit is separated from our body.  I believe that it's very possible that the spirits people sometimes see may be family members or other spirits come to provide comfort.  As someone with Schizophrenia, I do believe in "bad" spirits, or in other words, spirits that try to get us to do evil things.  I have experienced this, and although I have never seen the spirits trying to influence me to do evil, I know they exist.

I believe in them. There may be things that are hard to believe but I do make sure I believe most things that do exist out there in the world. Someone said they may be stuck in the world because they are a spirit of a person who died and that prevents them from going to the afterlife.

I did when I was younger. Everytime I went downstairs I could have sworn I saw faces around every corner I looked. It terrified me for ages until I was about 14, after then I just sort of grew out of it and found it silly for myself personally to believe ghosts exist. I dont judge anyone that believes in them though.

I believe in spirits, but not ghosts. To clarify, spirits are, well, spirits. Ghosts are the spirits of dead people. As a believer in the Bible, I cannot see myself making an allowance for such a thing being possible as the Bible lets us know what happens to our spirits/souls when we die, and it never alludes to them walking around Earth. I believe most people who say they have seen them did see something, but not a ghost or spirit. Others may have seen a manifestation of a spirit, but it was either an angel or demon. The rest lied. Lol Just my two cents. And no, I'm not even insinuating that anyone in this thread is lying. But I believe any true "ghost" sightings were actually sightings of angels or devils and the person who saw it just didn't know what they were actually seeing.

When I was younger, I was scared and frightened about ghosts, but now, I don't really care if they exist or not. In fact, One time, me and a few of my friends stayed a night in a haunted house, and personally to me, I haven't experienced anything, although it could just be me though.

I do believe in ghosts but I also believe in a lot of supernatural stuff. Maybe I should clarify.... I believe they are possible. I don't believe every single instance of people thinking they saw a ghost is real but I do believe it is possible and wouldn't discount any evidence outright just because I don't believe (or don't want to).

I do believe in ghosts and spirits since I feel that there is a spiritual world that we don't know or can't see.

Now that you mention it... Some people do believe in them like for example, a loved one who died and wishing them to rest and peace. They would say afterwards in the future that these dead people's spirits are watching over them from another world.
