zanderlex : Back when we were in Nashville and we weren't broke, we would go out a buy a bunch of fireworks and set them off ourselves. Out here in the middle of nowhere though, all they have are fireworks tents, and they don't set up in the winter time. Only around independence day.

We generally have some family over, and just have a small party in our house. After that, I generally sleep outside with a few cousins, and regret it the next morning.

I probably do like I did 2 years ago, bring in the new year while sitting on the toilet. Watching the whole ball drop is quite inaccurate because living in different time zones. Although the they still show it here, it's not live.

Well I seem to have lost all of my luck, I just got an email saying I wont be getting tickets to go to the ball drop so all of my plans for that night have been thrown out of the window.
