Do you plan on staying up and watching the ball drop on TV or going to some sort of a party? Or do you just plan on doing whatever it is you normally do every day once the 31st comes along?


I watch the ball drop every year on TV but this year I requested tickets to go to New Years Eve Game Night which is this years NBC Broadcast of the ball drop, though I doubt I will be getting tickets.

Any special plans?

yoshirulez! : I'm a drinker as much as the next guy and I don't care for the sparkling white wine.  Champagne is .... eh...  I will take beer because I'll be watching Michigan State and Alabama go after each other in the Cotton Bowl hosted be Pepsi or whoever.  I expect to be in bed not long after that because I have two kids under three years of age and that limits the activity available for me.

I used to do the parties, the huge celebrations, running around kissing girls I didn't know, and all that.  I don't care for it as much nowadays and I"d rather get some rest seeing as I'm tired and the super-busy season for my work is January, February and March.

Watch football, drink beer, go to bed.

Those are my plans.

They are having a big outdoor party in downtown Chicago for the first time in a long time. So that should be cool. They are raising a cool star. Kinda the opposite of the ball dropping in times square lol.

I more than likely won't be doing anything special for new years to be quite honest. By that point I'll probably be relaxing and enjoying the remaining time I have off, or I'll be finishing up any homework assignments (which I didn't get a lot of over break surprisingly).

I have no IRL friends, everybody in this town is in bed by 10 and I haven't any TV service. So, if our budget allows us, we have champagne and maybe discuss things that are likely to happen next year.
