What's Your All Time Favorite Pokémon Game 

Mine is Pokémon Emerald, Sapphire ,Pokémon Blue,Green and yellow and Pokémon Black & White. What is yours or are Your Favorites? 

I LOVED Pokemon Black. Black 1, not 2. I've beaten it at least 4 or 5 times now.

My personal favorites are White and White 2. Doesn't everyone hate when people say Gen 5 sucks because of Trubbish and Vanilite? I actually like Vanilite, and Trubbish isn't too bad. Anyway, Genwunners are hypocrites, because Grimer is sludge, which is even worse than a trash bag and ice cream. There are so many good Pokemon here. Haxorus, Oshawott, Snivy, so many good ones.

I'm going to respect the singular form of the question and say that my favorite Pokemon game is Pokemon Platinum.  I got it for my birthday about half a month after it came out, with the whole limited edition release deal.  It also helps that Sinnoh is my all-time favorite gen, so it makes sense that Platinum is my favorite game.

I would have to say Pokémon Silver or Pokémon Fire Red... Pokémon silver was the very first Pokémon game I ever played. I have beat both Fire Red and Silver and they still stand as my top favorites. If I had to pick a 3rd it would probably be Pokémon Yellow xP I just like pretty much everything about it.. the graphics gameplay and overall experience.

To be honest, they all had some unique charms to each of them, but I will say the Hoenn games are my favorite, because it was not only the first time I've played a pokemon game, but what got me into the franchise itself.

gamer29475 : I do agree with you, people despise Gen V/VI because they got terrible Pokemon (like one looks like a trash bag, one looks like an ice cream cone, one that looks like keys, and a bunch of stupid looking ones). Gen V has the most Pokemon introduced with 156, and that's 5 more than Gen I, and Gen V has the same amount of ugly Pokemon as Gen I, so, I don't see on why people complains that Gen V & VI has no creativity, all 6 has great creative Pokemon, and that's why I like all 6 generations.


Going back on topic, my most favorite has to be Generation V, the reason why is because the gameplay, the region, the Pokemon introduced in that generation, and a lot of other things as well.

Honestly, it's tough for me to pick between Pokemon Conquest, Pokemon XD, Pokemon White, and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky.
I adore the later three for taking an older formula and making it all so much better and more polished (Which is Pokémon in a nutshell, but I digress)
As for Pokemon Conquest, the Fire Emblem playstyle fits better than I imagined with Pokémon.

My Favorite has to be Pokemon Sapphire because Kyogre is my favorite legendary Pokemon and because the color sapphire on the cartridge looked sooooo amazing.

My favorite Pokemon game would have to be Pokemon Emerald because along with the massive Hoenn Region, it offered the Battle Frontier, which happens to be my favorite post story area in any Pokemon game ever.

As much as I had fun with Pokemon Colosseum I'd have to say that Pokemon X is my favorite Pokemon game now.

Pokemon X is the game I have been dreaming of since I was a kid. I have always wanted the handheld games to be in 3D. With Game Freak finally granting my wish this game instantly became a favorite. The game has a lot to offer, it even gives you the option of customizing your character. Despite this generation lacking some new Pokemon it is still a great game to play.

Either Pokemon Black or Pokemon Y. Not a hard choice for me.

All time my favorite game will have to be Gold. This is mostly because of nostalgia since it was the first game that I have played, but lets face it, the ability to go and do both regions was amazing, and to have Red and a few more cool Pokemon was great.

I would have to say Emerald, as that seems to be the only one I have ever played for more than just a few hours. 

I would have to say it would be between HG/SS and BW2 for me. Out of the two I'd probably have to go with the former.

There is a lot of nostalgia attached to that statement of course since generation 2 was the one I got into the games with but I also feel that critically the game was the best in the series.

It had a massive amount of content compared to previous Pokemon games with all kinds of things to do and adding a bunch of cool things that weren't in the original games. I think I'm one of the few people who actually really like the pokeathlon despite it being a bit silly.

I also think generation 2 had some of the best Pokemon, and the fact that there's another region to explore after johto is just awesome, it was and still is the most complete Pokemon experience for me.

Following closely would be BW2, that fixed most of what should've been improved in Black and White in my opinion. Having lots of variety, also having a large amount of content, not as large as HG/SS but definietly second. It also probably had the most interesting story of any Pokemon games and I liked the fact how there was a bit more focus on the story overall. And the enviroments were some of the best being really varied and I love the fact how they changed the look of them based on what version you got, it really felt like it had a lot of care put into it, even having nods to fans like the world tournament or having a memory link feature which allowed you to learn about certain characters.

Not to mention it had in my opinion the best soundtrack of any main series Pokemon game to date without a doubt. The sheer variety is just mindblowing and some like the castelia city gym theme are some of my favorite soundtracks in gaming. Definietly a worthy competitor for best game in my opinion.

N64 - Pokemon Snap. Great fun. My portfolio was awesome.

I have no favorite pokemon game in particular, but I've played pokemon fire red Version for the longest, so I'll go with that.

I always liked diamond verison. I sometimes wonder if they will ever create a remake of it. I'd probably buy it.

Well....thats hard to say I haven't been playing the oldies so much. But I do now have a love for a certain pokemon hack game so does that count? The game is called pokemon touhou merry's version. A great and amazing pokemon hack game to play. It has everything you can possibly want in a game. Great soundtracks good storyline and of course the pokemon are touhou meaning they look like anime sort of looking people in a way. I have only been playing that hack game. I hope to try out some other new ones really soon. I have played some pokemon hack games but not as much as pokemon touhou merry.
