Okay I just get this into my mind....
like vizzed is a family friend site right? ... but.. If vizzed isn't a family site and allows to flame and swear
you will keep acting like you act on vizzed right now... or you will star to say swears and star flame others?
is just an opinion I want to know yours

I act no different than I usually do on any site (including Vizzed), no matter what changes may or may not happen. A changed rule will not change myself. I'd rather get banned on x site than let them change me. Vizzed just happens to be fine with my personality, I guess.

Besides, I already swear. It's not like no one knows what's behind the censor.

Dark sword Z : If there was a rule that allowed swearing and flamming, then I would just avoid people who flames and swears. I will never do it, of course, and I hope that rule will never come to the site. It will never be, I suppose.

I would personally find a new site to be active on. It's not being mean or anything, just what makes this site so great in the first place is the community. With flaming, the community aspect would disappear.

If I had to choose, I wouldn't flame or swear.

I act the same here as I do elsewhere, well, mostly. I don't swear unless it's in reference to something like, for example, that "f* yeah -insert thing here-" meme which went around the Tumblr... I still use it despite being an old joke by internet standards, I might use it here if Vizzed allowed swearing but I doubt that. I don't use swears in casual conversion or talk about NSFW stuff so my posts wouldn't change. All in all, my behavoir on this site wouldn't change if Vizzed allowed swearing. I'm pretty tame when around other people, both IRL and on the internet.

If flaming was allowed I'd probably stop being active on the site to be honest besides maybe keeping in touch with some people on here. If it was swearing maybe not, though I don't swear that often I might when referencing something so I have intentionally censored myself a few times on here, but it's nothing that really bothers me that much to be honest.

I always feel sorry for people who feel the need to flame others.  You can disagree with someone but when you start attacking them personally, that means you really don't accept and love yourself.  You need to feel better but making someone else feel bad.
I don't get it.  I never did.

If flame wars and profanity were allowed, we'd see all sorts of swearing.  Profanity is powerful because it gets other people to react.  Flaming is powerful because it gets other people to react.  You feel in control when you swear because others are shocked, or angry, and you're controlling their emotions.

Would I swear?  No.  I think I have a strong command of the English language and I don't need to swear.  I have better words that work to capture attention.  I don't  need to yell "****" to get someone to read what I have to say.  Swearing makes people look stupid because they have no vocabulary and they have to resort to volume.

Would I flame anyone?  No.  There are very few times I've ever attacked anyone's character on Vizzed.  I rarely, and I mean three times total in the years I've been here, say, "You are a bad person."  I just go after the ideas and the ideology behind them.

I think the people who flame would be pretty quick to be ignored and they'd go away.  It would be interesting to see the real personality behind all the members on this website if they were given a greenlight to say whatever they want.  I'm betting a majority aren't exactly like you pictured them.

It was Vizzed that taught me what flaming was... I never heard of it three years ago, but now that I know what it is, I wouldn't enjoy Vizzed if it were allowed. 

If swearing were allowed, I don't think I would post at all. If I wanted that, I could go anywhere. It's fine if it's in moderation, but I have a feeling that people swear online more than they would in real life. 

In short, the community wouldn't be fun. You would have terrible interactions, people would walk around with a chip on their shoulder, yelling and screaming at every tiny provocation. I wouldn't enjoy it at all, and I would go find a family friendly site then.

I try to steer away from swearing on websites, especially Vizzed. I love Vizzed to death because of its retro games. I would never risk it, even if I knew swearing was allowed.

No. While swearing is sort of whatever to me in real life, flaming is just wrong. I like to think I've been raised to NOT personally attack people for having an opinion, and just because it's 'allowed' doesn't mean it's 'right'.

I would never in my life flame in any way unless there is a very good reason. I they were not banned the worst I would do is swear even then I would only do it when I'm ranting or in other rare situations.

My answer for this is simple and easy. Its no. I don't swear in real life as I never liked the fact of such words. But I did grew up with most people outside my boundaries who swore and flame a lot. I didn't allow that to effect me such way. And for flame. If that actually happens then I won't even hesitate to go somewhere else. '-'

No I don't think I would I don't try to swear when I talk or I wouldn't try to flame either thats not me. But if it was allowed on the site their may be a few that probably would like to like I said I wouldn't. If their were flaming and swearing I don't think I could use the site as good or as much.

Flaming? I would definitely go farther with my jokes which might end up flaming some how. So, I'll go with yes because most likely.

If vizzed let everyone flame and swear, I think the site would be very different and eventually Davideo7 would shut it down or make rules against flaming and swearing.

I'm a Christian, so I'd never swear at or flame anyone. I try to be nice to everybody no matter how it makes me feel.

Naw, the way I talk here is pretty much the same way I talk in real life, I dont care too much for that kind of stuff, and it would be a really different place if that were allowed, I'd assume that many of the members would have left by now if that happened.

I really don't see the need to swear in real life, and communicating with others on vizzed shouldn't be any different. I see no reason to change the way I talk. I'm sure plenty of users would take advantage of the opportunity, but I would just remain the way I am now. Vizzed would indeed be a very different place if David allowed these sort of things. 


Plus, flaming and swearing isn't an effective way of communicating with others. There are plenty of other ways to get the message across to someone else.
