The title and description pretty much say it all. What are the 5 things in life that you absolutely can't live without? They don't have to be in any kind of order. Here are my 5 things...

1. My wife - if I never met the woman I love the most in this world, I have no idea where I would be. She is my rock, let me tell you.

2. My cat - we have 3 cats, but there's one that I need to be there when I get home, especially if I'm having a bad day. Our cat ( named Zoey ) is 13 years old and still going strong. She is constantly around me and comes to me whenever I call her...kind of like a dog. It will be the saddest day of my life when its her time to go.

3. Video games - honestly I really hate to admit this, but I hate being bored at home with nothing to do. That's why I own video games...they give me something to do when I literally have nothing to do.

4. Bowling - for 24 of the 27 years of my life, I've been bowling. Now I'm the manager of a bowling pro shop, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I am constantly in a bowling center, constantly meeting new people. I bowl as a job, I bowl to have fun, I bowl for a living. I'd never thought I'd love my job this much! Believe it or not, when I'm having a bad day, I look forward to working because it makes me feel better right away.

5. My phone - it took me awhile to think about this last one, but I figured out that I need my phone with me at all times. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 ( I think that's what its called ) and I love everything about it!

Interesting. Let's see, in no particular order...

1. Baseball - Baseball (and sports in general) is what has kept me off drugs and from killing myself. As I was growing up, I didn't have a happy childhood/adolescence. I was constantly bullied, by both my peers and my step father. My brother and sister were no moral support, and my mother worked so much so I never really saw her except at dinner time. For all but 3 hours of the day (when I was asleep), I was a walking target, a lightning rod for everyone's anger. Baseball is what kept me sane. My following of the Red Sox is all that kept me from going over the edge, believe it or not.

2. My girlfriend - She's the person in life who supports me the most. Really, she's one of the very few who do. My family and I barely see each other (I live with my grandmother, more out of need than desire to live here), and I don't really have many friends. Presently, we are long distance, but we've visited each other, and plan on moving into an apartment soon. She's why I keep trying to find work, and why I keep trying to live. I finally have something worth living for.

3. TV - It's part of #1, but I can't watch baseball without TV. Outside of baseball, there's stuff I watch that distracts me from the doldrums of life. I enjoy it. Plus...

4. PS4 - Without my video games, I don't know what I'd do for entertainment when baseball season is over.

5. Laptop - Hulu is a godsend. As is Youtube. And Crunchyroll. I love me some anime.

legacyme3 : I totally forgot about watching Hulu/Netflix on my laptop and/or PS3. When people ask me "what do you watch on TV" I tell them that I don't really watch TV...I watch Netflix XD That would definitely be something I couldn't live without.

Alrighty, let's see what I got here:

1. PlayStation ( as a whole ) - Really? I have to explain this? PS is Life. So, life without PS is like life without people... very lonely.

2. Television - How will I play my PS games without a TV?  Exactly!

3. People - Who will make the PS consoles and games? Oh, and I suppose family is considered people too, right? Yeah, can't forget about family... I love my family! *cough* cause they let me play PlayStation *cough*

4. My Job - Even though I hate my job, I have to be thankful that I have one because then I would not have any money to put towards a new PS4 and games... or pay the bills XD

5. A Military Background - I have always wanted to join the Marine Corps. It has been a goal of mine ever since I started attending high school ( which was back in 2004 ). Was going to go in after I graduated, but my peers started pressuring me to attend college instead. I suppose they were right, but I still feel the need to join because I have a feeling that I will regret it for the rest of my life if I do not. ( This has nothing to do with PlayStation because it is not important... or is it? ).

My 5 things I can't live without are:

1. Laptop- If I didn't have my laptop, how in the world would I ever get on Vizzed? I love this site that much. Like most people know, Vizzed helped me prevent committing suicide. So, literally, I wouldn't be alive without my laptop.

2. Video Games- Since I'm on a site that is mainly about video games, it'd only make sense for me to have a passion for video games.

3. My family- My family (mainly my mom) has helped through with my disability ever since I was born, even though we found out about it when I was 6. I have been through really harsh times, and they were always there to help me through them.

4. My friends- I am one of those people that wants EVERYONE to like them. Sadly, that just isn't possible, so I settle with my actual friends. Of course, I have met a bunch of people on this site that I consider my actual friends.

5. My brain- People have always told me that I am one of the smartest people they know, but I just make bad decisions. Honestly, I do see myself being smart. Mainly because of my disability, I have a big brain. Without it, of course, I would be dead, and I would also not be able to know things that are common sense.

1) The local public library - seriously, there's so much good stuff to be had in there. More books than you can ever read, films, music, and computer access (if for whatever reason mine was out of commission,) and a whole slew of live events.

2) My past experiences - seriously, I've screwed up so many times throughout high school that if I had to make them all again I might literally die.

3) My Steam account - 600 games. If I lose that then that's thousands of dollars down the tubes. I probably have more money in my Steam library than I do in my bank account.

4) My family - I give them a lot of crap, but at the end of the day I really rely on them.

5) My car - I don't have any affinity for my specific car, but the freedom it gives is pretty valuable to me, even if I don't always use it.

MattyIce : This is a really nice thread! Now onto your question, my top 5 things I couldn't live without are as follows...

1. Food and water - This one's essential to everyone, because without food, you'll starve and eventually die. Without water, you'll die even faster than starving could kill you. Also water is necessary for cooking, as well as making your favorite drinks. Without water, soda can't be made, there would also be no coffee, no tea, no sports drinks, and most importantly, NO SLUSHIES! NOOOOOOOOO! Seriously though, we need all need food and water.

2. NFL football - without the NFL, I wouldn't have any excuses to have sunday's off during the fall LOL! No seriously though, Watching football is one of my biggest passions in my life, especially my favorite team the Cincinnati Bengals. I'm looking forward to the moment that they finally win the super bowl! (whenever that'll be)

3. Nintendo games - If it weren't for Nintendo, I wouldn't be a gamer, and I wouldn't be the same person I am today. Nintendo games, especially Pokemon and Mario games have been a huge part of my life. Pokemon helped make me a smarter person because of all the strategy that's involved in those games, and Mario games are such a blast to play, and there are so many genres of Mario games as well!

4. My TV and laptop - If it weren't for Television, there would be no home consoles, no entertainment, and no news. I don't know what I'd do without a TV, it's just as important as my Laptop, which I need to keep up on NFL news, gaming news, and get on vizzed.

5. My job - like food and drinks, this one's pretty obvious. Without a job, I can't make money, without money, I can't buy food, water, clothing, or games.

This is a tough one. 

My answers are in no specific order: 

1. My Family - If it weren't for my family, I don't know where I would be today. I am the man that I am today because of my family. 

2. Video Games - I have always been able to go my video games when I am bored. It's like I can just escape the real world for just a moment, and go and enjoy some alone time to myself sometimes, which is really nice. 

3. Sports - Honestly, I love football and baseball. I love debating football with people. I love getting pissed off when the Ravens jack something up, or the Mariners fail to make the playoffs for the umpteenth time. 

4. Internet - It's how I stay inn contact in with all of my friends over the years, and how I keep track of everything. 

5. My critters - I currently have 7 fish, and am getting more next month after I buy a bigger tank. I am getting 2 guinea pigs on Friday. And I will probably be getting a cat and a dog by the end of the summer. They keep me company when nobody else can, and that is everything to me. 

1. Family - I love my family more than anything.  I wouldn't be where I am now without them pushing me.
2. My PS4 - I think I would explode if I didn't have this.  I just got it and I don't want to lose it anytime soon.
3. My Laptop - I've had it for almost three years.  It has helped through all of my schoolwork compared to another computer that was slow in comparison.
4. My car - I would have almost no type of transportation without it.  This is defiantly a must have.
5. Food and Water - The most important of all.  Without it, I would be more likely be done for good. 

The first three things I can't live without are my laptop, my phone, and my internet. I spend pretty much 17 hours a day combined with these three and if I lost just one of them, I would lose so much stuff, and that can't happen. The next one would be vizzed, I lind of need to be on vizzed to be happy and stuff and the last one would be my friends. If I lost all 5 of those, id probably be dead.

DJ2536 : Good answers. I could probably live without my car, though, since I'm about to switch locations with my job to the town that I actually live in.

thing1 : Nobody cares what you think Just kidding bro My favorite answer of yours is the last one. I seriously couldn't live without the pets we have, especially the cat I mentioned...who is currently sitting on me while I'm typing this XD

CthulWho : You definitely have the most interesting answer so far, in my opinion...the public library.

I'm seeing a couple of the same answers here, all of them really good ones so far...interesting.

- My husband. We've been apart a few times because I needed to study/intern away temporarily. We do call each other every night but his physical presence is so far away.
- My computer. That's basically where I live all day long. I'm an INternet writter so I do need to be connected in order to find inspiration. I also like connecting with others and share my ideas.
- Exercise. Muscle training is a drug for me, but in a good way, i.e. I don't obsess over my appearance nor do I take enhancing drugs. But during my "deloading week", I feel like I'm missing something.
- Biking. I'm lucky enough to be able to bike to work, and I just love the feeling of the air around me on a bicycle. Too bad the streets of D.C. are full of craters (you can't call them potholes).
- My cell phone. Not that I use it often for actual calling - it's usually in case of emergencies. Rather, that's where I keep my notes likes my grocery list and my exercise routine.

MattyIce : Interesting! Here are my most important five things that I can't live without them.

1: Laptop. Yeah, my Laptop has been my girlfriend for years . I use it every single day.

2: Video games. Video games has taught me a lot of things, and they played a big part of my life.

3: Parents. I can't live without my parents. They are extremely wise, and there are always there when I need help. They refuse to say 'no' when I ask for help.

4: My cousins. My cousins, Kimmeh and her sister, are my best friends. We see each other every single weekend!

5: Internet. I love the Internet. Always resourceful, and I always look up interesting stuff ! I'm gonna a sixth one.

6: Vizzed. Vizzed has been a great place to me. Vizzed till I die!

Simple as can be.

1: My heart.

2: My brain.

3: My lungs.

4: My two kidneys.

5: Air.
