So, I've gotten kind of bored with life, as there's only so long I can go without doing absolutely anything.

As a result, I've decided "I'm going to try to do something."

The question is... what do I do?

Well, the answer... is up to you!

In this thread, you can challenge Leggy to do something, whether it is to learn a skill, do a specific workout, or eat a specific amount of food. It can really be anything... within reason.

An example of something that is within reason - "I challenge you, Leggy, to run 5 miles consecutively." I won't tape it, as I do not have equipment for that, but I will do something like that.

An example of something that isn't within reason - "Learn how to play 'Through the Fire and Flames' on a trumpet." This is unreasonable for two reasons. One, I'm pretty sure it's impossible. Two, and most importantly, I don't even have a trumpet, and I don't have much money. Things requiring me to shell out a lot of money are out of the question unless you send the money.

If you don't know if something is acceptable, just post it in here. The worst I can do is say that your request is unreasonable (or unequivocally stupid). But I will only do that if I cannot find a way to do said challenge (or if it is unequivocally stupid).

Most of these challenges will be done on the honor system, as I lack video recording equipment outside of a camera phone, which can only really hold 5-10 minutes of video at a time, and is generally so full it cannot even take that. But on my honor as the Legendary Zebra of Vizzed, I will attempt each challenge.

If I attempt your challenge, and I fail, I will remark that I have failed it, and put it on a list of failures. If I succeed, I will put it on a success list. Why? If I succeed, I want to leave a record that I did what I was challenged to do. If I fail, I want it to serve as a reminder I can always do better. And this way, I can go back to a challenge I once failed, and hopefully succeed at it on a second attempt.

This is as much for me as it is your entertainment. Go nuts with your requests. I am bound to reject many requests, as there are presently things I cannot do, no matter how much I like. But as long as it is reasonably possible within my financial and physical limits, I will do my best to attain your goal.

Some ground rules:
1. Only two-three challenges per person at a time. If I complete a challenge, you may add another in its place, but I don't need to be overwhelmed with challenges.
2. I refuse to put a deadline on most projects. When I get to it, I get to it. If I have 7-8 challenges at once, it might take some time to get to yours!
3. I'm serious about this. I'm trying to positively change my life. Try to keep the challenges to things that will actually do that.

How short is acceptable? This one will be tough, because I haven't the foggiest clue how to get a book on Amazon. I'll attempt it, but this one probably won't be accomplished for a longggg time, knowing the writing process as I do. So don't expect this one complete by the end of the week, month, or even year. If I'm doing it, I'm doing it right.

I already did that once (And I went a bit beyond 100). It wasn't on the GotY, edition mind.

I could do it again, but this is one of those things that has to be on my honor, as I lack the equipment to record it. This is something I could probably do again within the next week or so, depending on when I hook up my PS3 (lately, my PS4 has been taking up the TV )

Either way, it's doable, and a fine challenge. I loved the Arkham games, and it would be a fine tune up for when Arkham Knight comes out (whenever it does).

legacyme3 : I have actually published one on Amazon and it's quite easy, so if you do get it done, I will show you how to do it either on your own account or under me. I'd say that at least 30 pages is good.

I'll probably make it longer than 30 (I'm a wordy person). I'm not sure what I'll write yet, as I don't have any inspiration, quite yet, and I don't like to force it...

But if it's as easy as you say, then I think this can be accomplished. I still don't want to put a time table on it though, because of how seriously I take writing.

It's also a great way to try to get money, but I'm not really good with that, just getting it on Amazon and a few other places.

I challenge you to run, everyday, for a week. The catch is that each run has to be before 9 AM on that day. The distance and length of the run is your choice.

That's only if you don't accept my real challenge to use Celsius and the metric system for a week. =P

Somewhat similar to what Zander said, write a short children's book with a good moral, and publish it on Vizzed when you're finished. Extra points if you illustrate it

You are an ass, but challenge accepted, I suppose. I have no idea how I can prove I ran before 9 AM each day, honor system, I suppose, but on my honor, I'll run for a week before 9 AM each day. (In the freezing f***ing cold. Luckily we are due for a heatwave of 34 degrees at a high!)

Even though it's a tad redundant, I will accept this challenge as well. With regards to a short children's book, I won't be able to ACTUALLY get it published (It'll be tough enough to write the book Zander wants me to write), but at some point I will make a thread in short stories and simulations that is at its core, a children's book, accompanied by family friendly (but terrible) drawings that will showcase a moral story. If this is fine, wonderful, I can do that.

I challenge you to throw 3 back to back shut outs, with at least 1 no hitter, with Felix Hernandez in your latest released MLB game

If your still doing this I challenge you for 2 weeks to meet someone new and have around a 10 minute conversation  with them. Every other day you can switch off between in real life and on the internet.

I don't see the point in that specific challenge, it's not difficult or anything, but having thrown a dozen no hitters over the course of my MLB the Show career, I can say that throwing a no-hitter in the show isn't even entirely about skill. It's rather luck based.

Shutouts, yes, I can do that simple enough, but your challenge requires something that is 100% out of my control, luck. It also would be a hilarious waste of time, when I'm being challenged to do things that actually make me a more complete person.

This is going to have to be the first I decline, on the grounds of: 1) It's luck based. 2) It is way way too specific. 3) It isn't actually challenging, outside of the caveat of the luck based portion.

Accepted. I imagine most of the people I meet will be on the internet, as I live in the middle of absolute nowhere, and don't even see people on the streets when I walk own them, but for two weeks, I will greet someone new, and learn about them.

I dare you, over the next month, to read a scriptural text(s) (Bible, Book of Mormon, Qur'an, etc.) and make a list of verses that can be taken out of context to represent something funny and G-rated.

As the nature of these challenges are, I cannot do any challenge during a specific period of time, nor can I take requests to do them right away. Some challenges might be put on the backburner for several months while I pursue the other challenges (off site, I've been challenged to run 2.5 miles in 12 minutes, and to learn how to knit a scarf).

That said, I will eventually take this challenge. I don't see much point in the G-Rated funny portion of the challenge, however, so I'll mostly stick to actually reading a scriptural text, and trying to make further sense of it. That will increase my knowledge, making me a better overall person.

Have a healthy lunch + dinner for a day and spend only 5 dollars or below. A picture of the food and the receipt will do.

I challenge you to either run or walk one mile... backwards!

I'll do that when I next go out to look for food. It'll be pretty tough, since most food that's cheap is processed and unhealthy for you.

Another challenge to that is that I need to find a way to basically get two food items that are healthy for under 5 dollars. It's hard enough finding one thing, but two!

Should be a fun challenge...

I'll do that when I start EM's challenge. No reason why I can't. Walking/Running backwards is actually pretty good way to increase the intensity of your legs, and to give good lower core strength as well.

The only challenge to that is to find a place with a good stretch of land to do that, because you don't want to hurt yourself or others, and you don't want to crane your neck every two seconds to watch where you are going, as that can really mess with your neck.

My challenge is to do a good deed for either someone you don't know or someone who you didn't get along with in the past.
