Many months ago I had reached 5000 posts in 8 months and 6 days, which was quite spectacular. At the time, I thought that I couldn't get any more active and that my next 5000 posts would take even longer, maybe up to 12 months to get. Back then I had set up April 30th as my goal to hit 10000 posts, but here I am a few months early. It took me only 7 months and 26 days to get this set of 5000 posts, and overall it had taken me less than 500 days to accomplish, and exactly 16 months.

I probably wouldn't have been able to make it to 10k so soon if it hadn't been for this tdv which had gotten me to post more than ever, and I mean that literally because I'm just a few posts away from having my most posts in a month ever.

Getting to 10,000 posts was a lot of fun, and I think I'm the 10th user to make it this far and I don't plan on slowing down if I can help it. If I can keep up this pace, I could hit 20000 posts in another 16 months but that might be a bit much to ask for, though I will try my best to get my post per day average higher than it has ever been. I will try my best to get my next 5000 posts in record time, hopefully I can hit it sometime in September before my 2nd year ends.

Hey, nicely work on gaining 10,000 posts Zander, although I haven't really much post but if you matter of take the fact I post a lot of long-worded posts, that kinda defeats the purpose. Anyways, I should reach 20,000 CPs by the end of the day today and I should reach 5,000 posts and 25,000 CPs by the end of next month.

Wow, there have been 3 people who reached it in the past several months. I think it was thing1 first, then Barathemos, then you. Congratulations on reaching 10,000 posts after not even a year-and-a-half of being registered on Vizzed. I think you've reached 10,000 posts faster than anyone else, even Leggy and Davideo7. You've broken a lot of records on Vizzed Board and this is one of the best ones you've done. Keep up the posting swag, Zander!

geeogree : I totally did just hit 9000, just earlier this month actually. This post right here is 10,022, meaning that I had recently broken my personal record for posts in a month with 1178, meaning that I have averaged just over 49 posts per day so far this month.

I act surprised but I have done the same during a VCS one month. I remember posting 200+ times in a single day.

That was before people got in a lot of trouble for that sort of thing. I don't know if anyone could do it and get away with it anymore.

geeogree : I posted 450 in a day during the tdv and it got me trusted, though I do think that's the last time more than maybe 150 has been made in a day, posting a lot in a day seems to have really cooled off. I was actually going to try to break my record on the one year anniversary but decided on spreading all those 600 posts over many days to get more blue points.

I stopped caring about post milestones like two or three years ago. I focus on quality over quantity, and it's arguable that no one cares more about quality than I do.

I think the part of that is because we've simply had fewer posts. 150 in a day would mean making 1/2 to 1/3 of the entire day's posts.

At the same time, the lengths of the posts are generally longer. I'm not entirely sure what I think about it.

Personally I feel the same about quality over quantity. I slowed down with posting a while back after a Cp tdv competition in which the top 5 members with the most Cp became staff. I'm not going to lie and say that every review I made in that time was as good as it could've been, but I will say that I set hours upon hours committed to organizing my thoughts for presenting each of my reviews. I averaged about 13 posts a day then, and now I've dwindled down to a mere 8 a day which will soon drop even further. Now that it goes into making better posts, I could care less how many I make in a day....What I'm saying is, after that month passed and every month since then, I have aimed to focus on the quality of my posts above everything else and I haven't regretted it. There's nothing wrong with posting frequently, so long as you put time into what you're saying. I'm not aiming this at you specifically, or trying to downsize your achievement, I'm merely directing this at those that believe that posting non stop until your fingers fall of is the only thing worth commemorating, because it isn't. Just something for everyone to think about.

That aside, I knew you were bound to hit this goal within a few days. I can't say I'm shocked because you've always been among the most active members on this site. The amount of Cp and posts you are capable of earning in a month is horrifying XD. 


Congrats on this, I imagine you'll probably pass 15k by the end of this year and then be well on your way to 20k. Keep posting, I look forward to seeing you continue to reach important milestones later down the road.

CONGRATS!!! 10k posts, huh? That's a huge milestone to achieve! Good luck on catching David, because that ain't going to be easy , and good luck on future milestones.

Congrats, that's a huge accomplishment considering the short amount of time you did it in. I doubt you'll reach me though, active users are never active long enough to catch up to me.

Davideo7 : We'll see, I still have quite a few things I need to make sure that I accomplish, so hopefully I'll be very active for at least 4 more years and then maybe regular active after that.
