I only have 52 PM's but I am noticing a huge difference! It used to take me somewhere between 5-10 seconds for me personally to load a page, but now it's down to less than a second to 2.5 seconds to load a page! My internet isn't even amazing, it's actually terrible... I have full bars, but my internet speed is on the slow side, that's for sure xD. David, you work harder than I thought you did... I don't have any idea how you found out this was the culprit of lag on Vizzed, but you found it out and fixed it . Thanks David, we all appreciate what you do for the site .

Now that I read this, it does seem faster. Sometimes the page would load so long that I would just let it sit for a few seconds. 30 seconds happened often, but now, this page took about 6-8 seconds...

I've definitely seen a huge speed difference on the memberlist, used to take 12 seconds to load, now it takes 5.

Might just be me, or is mobile not affected by this? I'm still going at the same speed on my iPad, which isn't really that fast.

I have a PM sent to me on December 25th. But when I look at it in my inbox, it doesn't show up! It's like it's not there! However, It still says I have a new PM on the outside!

It's like the PM got stuck and never made it too me. Just the notification.

Just thought I'd let you know. I can live it, and it's no big deal to me. I would say it's probably only worth fixing if a lot of users started experiencing this.

FunnyFurret : It'll be faster for mobile as well but I never optimized the site for mobile. If it's taking the same amount of time for a mobile device then that's because the mobile devices browser isn't as good as a browser on a computer.

I've got a few more ideas on how I could make vizzed speedier, those I'll most likely implement sometime next month (possibly early next month). I've also got ideas on how I can make vizzed run faster for those with slower computers or on mobile devices in the more distant future. These things I'll be making separate threads about at some point.

I don't think it has nothing to do with this improvement, maybe it's just that some threads have so much replies, but anyway, since this didn't happen before this update, I considered appropriate to share this here.

Better speed is cool, especially for websites. Now that I think about I do notice things going faster. I was using an old laptop and it was just a bit painful how the speed was going on it but, the laptop itself is a bit rickity lol. Thanks for doing this. I'm sure users will have a much better time at doing that fun thing they do here.
