Hey, everyone this can be a thread where you share your games that you just think are amazing, but maybe the game doesn't have a lot of publicity. In your post you should include the main point of the game and also extra details you feel are necessary. Also since this is a family friendly site, please include whether the game is explicit in any way.

My game is a game called Liberal Crime Squad. Seriously guys, don't play this game unless you're ready for some tense political jokes. Please note that this game was pretty much made as a joke and none of the things in the game are the makers real opinions. The game is quite explicit in words only, not graphics. Also I should mention that this is an ASCII game and there are no graphics per se. So, in Liberal Crime Squad you start out with player selected skills (selected through a "life story") in a random city in the United States. The point of the game is to be politically active and to sway the opinions of the American people to the right side of the political scale. You can sway opinion of nuclear power for example, by going to the nuclear power plant and messing with the reactor (sounds easier than it is).

So what is your game? Please, don't post solely on the fact that you think we will like the game, post a game that YOU like to play.

Tai Fu: Wrath of the Tiger was a solid ps1 game. My cousin got a brand new ps2 at the time, and so he gave me his ps1 and snes (which was really boss of him). These happened at separate times though, so when I got the ps1 I was looking through the games he gave me and found a few must plays, a few maybes and a few no thanks. I had originally put it in the no thanks pile, but when some of the games didnt work, I had to be less picky, and I created a not working pile, a maybe pile, and a yes pile. The yes pile was pretty small so I looked through the maybes and found this game and checked to see if it worked... and then I ended up playing it for the rest of the day and managed to beat it something like 12 hours later.


Just a side note, if you have never played roadrash for the ps1, it is an absolute must play.

Mine would have to be Sanctum 2,I guess you could say it is a little explicit seemingly there's sometime profanity in the game ever now and then and then you're also defending waves of aliens off from destroying the core that you're working hard to actually protect. The game is a lot funner and easier when you got people in the game with you to actually also play the game and make it easier seemingly later on it seems that you'll have to protect two cores all by yourself if you don't have anyone else in the game. It is possible to do,but quite difficult at the same time,seemingly you need to put down defenses in good areas to slow the aliens down from getting near any of the cores. Though seriously,I find the game to be amazing fun,it might be simplistic with not even a story with cutscenes,but to me it's pretty good for an arcade game!

Hmm...that's a really tough one. Among my favorites are Outland, Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, and Super Puzzle Platformer Deluxe. Of the three, SPPD is the only one I've played recently. It's perfect for small play sessions. It's also very difficult and requires both fast thinking/reflexes and strategy.

Jade Empire. It's not very well known, and that's a damn shame. It's a kung-fu action RPG by BioWare that came out in '05 I think. Absolutely terrific fun. I can't believe it never got a sequel.

Fun fact: there are no 2 NPCS in the entire game that look alike.

Mega Man Star Force and Enter the Matrix didn't fare well with critics, but I love both of them so very much. And mercenaries is just too cool.

Dreamfall series, Timesplitters series (oh please make more), Fatal Frame series, and the Chronicles of Riddick to name a few. 

Star Wars Republic Commando. The game is awesome, and it's one of the best First Person Shooters I've played, not to mention that it is a tactical shooter! Sadly, very few have heard of the game, and even fewer have played this awesome game.

the final fantasy 1?

Wow there are a lot you could put in here. It'll be interesting to see what everyone comes up with. I've got quite a few I'd like to list purely for selfish reasons and to hopefully introduce some people to them. They are : Culdcept Saga, Valkyria Chronicles, Blue Dragon, Risen, Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice, Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, Suikoden Tierkreis, Neir, Resistance 3, Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, Tales of Vesperia, and Folklore. I know a lot of games but I really think these games are underrated and should be checked out by  more people. 

Battle Bakraid and Espgaluda II are my all time favorite obscure games.  Those shoot 'em ups get the most play from me because of their gameplay and awesome soundtracks.

Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl is one of my favorite games of all time - though it's probably not well-known outside of hardcore PC gaming fans (apparently it was one of the best selling PC games of all time, but I doubt that the average joe has heard of it).

Excitebots: Trick Racing on Wii doesn't look like much, but it's one of the most fun games I played last gen. I can't recommend it enough for anyone who likes racing games at all.

One of my favorite games of all time is Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy. It was failure as far as sales go, but I really liked it as a game. Basically, you're a super powerful psychic soldier who had his memory wiped so he could infiltrate the enemy without being identified as psychic. Now you have to stop the enemy (who also have psychics in their higher ranks) while your powers slowly come back to you.

The game had its weaknesses, but it was a lot of fun. I'm pretty sure they made it into a free download after it didn't sell, if you want to look into it.

Mine is a pirated game called Super Mario World for the NES. You play as Mario and your goal is to save Princess Peach once again. It's a game that I think is appropriate for all ages.

I would have to say Dig Dug. I used to love playing that game when I was a kid, and I didn't realize just how much I loved it until I made it a point to add some screenshots to the game. 

jack3604 : A more recent game that I think's underrated is The Wonderful 101 for the Wii U it's a very unique gaming experience and unlike some modern games, this one is very difficult.

Lots of games here that I've never heard of and will probably never try. I'm sure most of you can identify with this sentiment?

Imma pick one - Kageroeception II on PSX. In it you play as a sadistic human pawn of a race of blue skinned humanoid creatures in a medieval world. You build traps inside their castles to trap the unsuspecting humans that trespass. I guess I like the sadistic aspect of it.

Thebiguglyalien : I LOVE Psi-Ops. It's the definition of a hidden gem. It's a shame we didn't get the sequel that was teased at the end.
