Hello there! Today I have made this thread, I was thinking to make it for a while now..
Do you believe in any super powers?

I-... I do..
But in what power do I believe?
Well, this will sound ridiculous, but it's not a super power, sort of, it's sort of a bit like Dra-... Drag-........ dragonball z?
Yeah... Energy ball? To me it makes sense, I mean, Akira Toriyama did a real good job with the Energy, they made something with the Energy, being able to release it, and that makes sense to me. So, if I believe in it and if it is really possible, flying is also possible! Maybe Telekinesis is possible, Mind reading might be possible, and if that's possible, Instant Transmission is also possible!
But how would Energy work? Well, Dragonball Z Episode 207, with good, well training, it could be possible I guess?
So yeah, that's what I believe in. But how about you? And how would you think it would work? I wanna know :3 ~James

I think something like mind reading can be true. And although some people have doubts about hypnosis as well I believe that is true as well.

Yeah, nothing like flying or creating matter, but things like immunity and other super human things are possible.

I (fear) think that some sort of mind reading actually exist in some people, maybe just dormant or even they have it without noticing.

Most superpowers are achievable, like Super Strength, when under distress or extreme danger, some people gain superhuman-like strength, like the guy who pushed a 600 lb boulder with one arm when it was crushing him.
Yes, it's possible. But, it's not really achievable through normal standards, and even if it was, it would destroy your skin cells and tissue.

But yes, some "super powers" are inside humans, we just don't have access to them.

I do believe in superpowers but not the same way a lot of other people do. Everyone has superpowers. Everyone has something they're extremely good at. Mine is music and writing. My friend's is strength. Another friend of mine is the ability to make people laugh.

I don't really believe in superpowers. But maybe I sorta do. Although I know it is not real, sometimes I kinda get this weird feeling, so I look at something light (like a piece of paper), concentrate real hard, then try to move it. Shame it never works

I also dream about the future. It's creepy in a way. I know some people dream about the future every once in a while, but I do it almost every night. I see something in my dream, then later that day I see it in real life and get a really creepy feeling of seeing that exact same thing recently. But they are always completely random. I remember one time it was some design a kid at school was making in his mashed potatoes. I also remember one time I was asleep and saw 5 seconds into the future. I felt a slight crashing noise, woke up because of it, then maybe 3 seconds later something from the ceiling fell on my head.

A "superpower" is, by definition, just a fantasy ability. If we discovered someone who could, for example, read minds? Mind reading wouldn't be a superpower any more. We'd just consider it another aspect of life.

With that said, I think anything could happen. It's possible that someone will show up one day and have some super power. It's just not likely.

TheJmsGamer : most of that is untrue any form of special training can make your mind really powerful you can make somone sick just by looking at them and any form of unnatual power is most likely a mutation of some sort

A Group of Middle Aged Men With the Power of "B.S.".
Able to Argue for years and get nothing done.
They are marked by their uniform known as .... a "Suit".

Other than that?

Ummm... There are many documented Feats of Extra Ordinary Talent that do get studied and observed.

#1)Rarely, though it does happen.
A man in this country or the next can lift a car in a crisis to help "E.M.T." professionals retrieve a young child or smaller person pinned under it. (On Occasion.)

#2) More Often,
There are people that are so skilled at one talent or another that even a machine that is designed to be unbeatable is beaten.
These cases are typically "Chess Match Computer Opponets" Or "Unbreakable Safe" Challenges to "Locksmiths" and the like.

#3) Very Rare, BUT...
Meditation Wonders and Cures.
For some reason or another there are many cases around the world where meditation and prayer even have staved off symptoms or even cured ailments.

Certainly.
Super Natural???
I have yet to decide. ("The Jury's still out on that.")

So, to answer the question.
"Do I believe in Super Powers?"
Yes, we have Government Superpowers that have been wasting all kinds of tax dollars all the time.
Yes, I believe in "Super Powers".
Otherwise "Ben Franklin" Would have been wrong about one of "the two certainties in life".

TheJmsGamer : The super power I believe the most is probably mind reading. This power really creeps me out and I feel it sometimes. I always try to guess people's answers without even mentioning it yet. U know what they say, 'Everyone has psychic powers. People don't just realize it.'

I do not believe in a sort of super power . Something so magical is sadly so easily dissuaded by science or coincidence . It is definitely a neat idea however , I would love for super powers to be real , could you imagine all the great things or even bad things that would happen as a result . Of course I do not wish bad on anyone but you can rule out the possibility of things going awry . Simply said , super powers are not much of a phenomenon, you could say it is magic but magic is simply an illusion created by smoke and mirrors and basic misguiding of the audience watching

I believe in a super power and it is called super speed! I've seen some people run fast at the speed of light like whoa! I wish I was able to run quickly.

I do believe some sort of superpower exists within the confines of the universe. I mean, it has to. Could you imagine a massive system of celestial bodies and not one sort of superpower or anything that could create a superpower?

Super strength and super speed, for example. Those either exist here already or on another planet.....

TheJmsGamer : I do believe that mind reading is possible, not like psychic or anything, but more on a scientific basis. Your brain actually emits electricity! Therefor, I do believe that electric brain waves are possible, and that a device could be created to interpret the electric waves into the actual thoughts. I know that there are already devices that monitor brain electricity, so I do think that it is possible from a scientific standpoint, not from the psychic standpoint. (As I want nothing to do with that)

I believe there can be things like possible genetic mutations which give people extra abilities compared to another person. Like say maybe someone has skin that is extra resistant to heat and can sustain much higher temperatures and stand in a fire with no problem, or perhaps someone has really far vision and can see things clearly even a mile away. Something along the lines of super enhanced traits. Things like reading minds, hypnosis, maybe but it can't be proved for sure.  Stuff like flying and running at the speed of sound are still in the realm of fiction for me.

Fact is: We can see infinite miles away
The Earth is round and because the Earth is round, we can not see the whole earth. If Earth was infinite long, but keeps repeating and is a square, you'd see everybody from your own house, see Japan from Belgium... And as Earth is round, the higher we are, the more we see!

If we couldn't see miles away, we wouldn't see the Sun & the Moon, and the stars that's millions of miles away...
But still, it'd be very cool to see Earth like it's a rectangle

TheJmsGamer : That's true so I suppose I phrased that wrong. What I meant was seeing small details with accuracy. To compare what I mean if someone were to go up a tower and look down the city below they could see everything miles away in the horizon, but how many would be able to make out a person in a field a mile away from there in the midst of that city? Something along the lines of pinpoint vision.

I guess you could say that I believe in super powers. But, I contribute it more to being a six sense. I can generally read people,l and figure out the kind of person that they are.
