Hello everyone, I want to know what is your favorite Pokémon game and why, and it can be A hack if you really want it to. My personal favorite is Pokémon Platinum because, it was my first new Pokémon game that wasn't given to me, and the first game I got a level 100 in!

DogBoy52 : I would have to go with Sapphire even though it wasn't my first. It was really fun to play as a kid and I loved the pokemon and the adventure you could have in the Hoenn region. And was the only game I completed the Poke'dex in

deg2000 : Must of been hard to complete the pokedex on sapphire, unless you have friends that can trade to you

DogBoy52 : My favorite Pokemon game is Pokemon Emerald! Platinum was a close one. Pokemon Emerald is a very fun game, catch Pokemon and they have moving sprites on a GBA Pokemon game. Everyone on Vizzed should play that game !

Pokemon BW2 are the best Pokemon games (closely followed by HG/SS).

It had a great story for a Pokemon game, the locations were very varied and it had lots of pokemon to catch, it is also jam packed with content, not to mention the game had probably the best soundtrack in any main series pokemon game (take castelia city gym for example).

It's the one pokemon game which I literally don't have any problems with. Pokemon X and Y was kind of a mixed bag for me it introduced some great things while also taking away some great things such as the lack of post game content, the lackluster soundtrack compared to BW2 and a villain team that simply wasn't that interesting to me.

Another game deserving of a mention is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky.

I like to mention this game really whenever I have the chance, it is a criminally underrated game in my opinion and it has the best story of any Pokemon game spin off or main series (followed by the BW/BW2 games). Not to mention the soundtrack is just as legendary as BW2 I mean who can forget the Primal Dialga theme which is just pure epicness.

Zlinqx : I do have to admit that BW2 are really good games, but Platinum has more memories for me.

My favorite Pokemon game is Pokemon heart gold. Not only is it a remake of the great gold game, but there is a lot more to do and they even add in the poke walker. I really enjoyed being able to play two regions and all of that. I loved that game, and still play it.

Probably would have to say Emerald. It is the only Pokemon game that I have almost beaten. 

Hmm... Black is obviously my choice, everything in it is much better than the last Gen in terms of mechanics, and the new pokedex had a lot of amazing pokes, the gyms were fun and the only hm required was cut in the dream yard ONCE that alone would make it the best game.

My favorite Pokemon game is a hack called Pokemon Aquamarine. I made the hack, so I guess that there is a little bias there. My second favorite is a hack called Pokemon Ultimate Ruby. I made that hack as well, so still some bias lol. My third favorite is a hack called Pokemon Light Platinum. I did not make this one haha. My favorite game that isn't a hack is Pokemon Emerald, and my favorite Pokemon spin off is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team. I know I gave you a little more than you asked for, but oh well

Favorite Pokémon game eh.....Well out f the older gens I would have to pick either emerald or platinum. Both of them are amazing games, and they also have some of my Favorite legendary Pokémon in them as well.

Of the newer gens, I would have to say that I like Pokémon X and/ or Y since they are basically the same game with different legends. What I like most are the new Pokémon introduced as well as the graphics and sound. Nintendo really did a great job when making X and Y and I am really looking forward to what they have in store for us in Omega ruby and Alpha sapphire. So those are some of my favorite Pokémon games from the new and old gens.

I'm quite enjoying "Pokemon White 2" right now, which is my first legit Pokemon game that wasn't a rom file on an emulator. I'm loving the selection (though some of the missing Pokemon are kinda bumming me out, since I would love to get some of them...), and I've been having fun with the shaking grass and breeding. 

Since I got it for my birthday last month, I've found three shinies: a Watchog, a Bouldore and a Pillowswine. All within the same two weeks. That's pretty lucky in such a short time, I think, without any modifiers or cheats.

Any game that has treecko as a starter THAT MY FAVORITE STARTER

I've had a soft spot for Pokemon Crystal, because it was the first pokemon game I played (as far as I remember). It has a lot of good pokemon, a pretty good soundtrack, good locations, and it fixed SO many problems with gen 1 and then added some really cool features (like a day/night system, dark and steel types, breeding, genders) but still, it has its problems.

1) The level curve blows - A lot of the wild pokemon's levels in the game are really close to each other, so it can be EXTREMELY time consuming if you want to raise a low level pokemon (like the Dragon's Den dratini) at a later part of the game.

2) Why is it so gosh darn hard to get evolution stones? - So basically to get the stones to evolve your pokemon in this game, you have to either: win a bug catching contest, hope you're worthy to receive a call that lets you know a person has it, or find them lying around. As these are rare circumstances, you won't be evolving that vulpix or Eevee for anytime soon. What really sucks is that not even Celadon City has the Thunder/Fire/Water/Leaf stones, so getting stone evolutions are a pain.

3)The TMs for Gen II in general were really poor - sure, you could teach the elemental punches to all of your pokemon that can learn them, but Game Freak missed out on making a lot moves into TMs like Flamethrower or Ice Beam (they also removed Thunderbolt from TM status). Sure, you could teach your pokemon Flamethrower, Ice Beam and Thunderbolt... with game tokens...on a saturday...after you beat the elite 4... and once you taught one pokemon a move the Tutor left, so you gotta wait a week to see him again.

4) No Mareep - Mareep is one of my favorite pokemon, period. It really sucks when they brought most of the exclusive pokemon of Gold/Silver into one cart, but at the expense of a good electric type, early in the game.

And 5) Why are Johto pokemon native to Kanto?

I have multiple Favorites, each with their own unique reasons:
My Pokémon Crystal version: Because for some reason, I neglected to train my Typhlosion, so the last time I checked, I had a Lv100 Ariados and a Lv40 Typhlosion
My Pokémon Emerald: Because I have two level 100 Pokémon (the most so far): Blaziken and Absol. I loved this version because it was one of my first.
My Pokémon Diamond: Because when I got it, the Pokedex was 100% complete. I thought it was legit at the time, but I now know about Action Replay.
My Pokémon X: Because it's my latest game!

My favourite Pokémon game is Diamond even though it wasn't my first, it was the first game I played with strategy and reached level 100 with my starter Infernape and also the first time I completed the pokedex (by trading with myself)
