Welcome to the Pokemon Tournament Signups. This is a pokemon competition for the site pokemon showdown which can be found at play.pokemonshowdown.com A competition to see who is a good team builder and to see who is possibly the best one of them all.

IMPORTANT RULE: When you battle, you MUST use OU mode, not custom battle. Using OU will keep you from breaking most of these rules. Full tier list here.

Rules:

1. When making teams they are to be made on custom tier(no format in team build) but pokemon can only know things they learned ingame and must have abilities they get.

2. No legends/ubers with the exceptions of Heatran, Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, the Regi trio, the Lake trio, the bird trio, the dog trio, Victini, the Musketeers, Meloetta, Manaphy, Latios/latias, Kyurem Black, the Therian forms of the Kami trio, Deoxys-D and Deoxys-S, cresselia, and regigigas.

3. If using any pokemon that use moves that aren't normally used/using pokemon that are not allowed you will automatically be DQd.

4: If you are going to have a mega evolved Pokémon, to stay closer to the game, you must give them the respective mega evolution item.

5. If having a pokemon with mega evolution make sure it isn't mega evolved when sent out this is to ensure said pokemon has megastone

Just a question though, by legends you mean any pokemon on the Ubers tier (Smogon rules), or legendaries as in VGC (Nintendo rules)?

pokemon x : This looks interesting, is there a difference between which version? The Download one and online one?

zanderlex : There is no difference it is just one you don't have to go through browser and it is quicker when downloaded on starting up wise.

For clarification sake, I guess you either make a banlist of your own, or ban/adopt Ubers completely. Been searching for a Nintendo banlist but couldn't find a bans only one. I did find a list of allowed pokemon, but good luck searching and making a second list for missing pokemons on a gigantic list like that... - http://veekun.com/dex/pokemon/search?in_pokedex=14&in_pokedex=13&in_pokedex=12

Not everyone is aware of which pokemons are banned on either list and there can be confusion because of that, I highly advise on adopting a banlist.

mvhupsel : Thanks, this helped. I wanted to see which ones were banned. I was hoping Pokémon like Mega Kangaskhan were banned cause that Pokémon is too over powered. This answers my question on Scizor cause I thought it was an Uber as well. Had no idea Double Team and Minimize were banned.

I'm probably starting to get annoying but something else also came to mind... >.<

Will Smogon banned Mega Items count? I'm asking this because the pokemons that use these itens aren't on the Ubers banlist. Like Gengarite and Lucarionite for example, those are allowed or banned?

That's probably my last question (hopefully ).
