As a former newbie and Pokémon player, I would love to know the users of fizzed and players of Pokémon, what their favorite legendary Pokémon is and why? Whether its from generation one or generation five, feel free to comment your favorite legendary Pokémon and why.

I think this thread might be a duplicate of another thread and it should rather be moved to a Pokémon forum, but I guess that's not too much of a problem, since you're new here. I'll summon the local mods to decide about this.

But to answer the question...
This is a tough one, and I can't really decide which my favorite is, but I like Lugia, Groudon, Deoxys, Giratina, Zekrom and Xerneas. I don't have specific reasons for these except for the designs. I just like these.
And if you count Victini as legendary, that would probably be my choice. It represents victory with its name, its V shape and  the victory sign it does, which is awesome. Also, I think the colors orange, that cream color and the blue eyes fit well.

May seem nooby, but I never really focused much on stats and things like that in Pokémon games; just love to try completing the dex.

mr.goblin : okay um this isn't really this place to have this thread. but my favorite legendary is Mew because it is soo adorable and cuddly and can be very strong

To answer your question, I think Giratina is really cool because of its type combo, dragon and ghost which is a rare one, plus it has great moves and awesome stats. I also think that Lugia, Rayquaza and Kyurem are all cool legendary pokemon as well though. Kyurem because when it combines with either Zekrom or Reshiram, its stats are insanely powerful!

zecorom is THE BEST pokemon ever in my mind

Legendary pokemon are rare and a powerful pokemon their stats are higher compare to other pokemon, legendary pokemon are the pokemon I always use because it can beat your opponent easily. The best legendary pokemon is Moltres. I like moltres in legendary bird trio I like flying type pokemon ( though its weakness are electric type pokemon ) and pokemon in generation 1 are the best pokemon in all generation.

Darkrai would probably be my favorite, awesome design and just plain powerful. And I know this next part's a little off topic but imagine if he were Dark/Ghost like Sableye or Spiritomb, he would only have one weakness (Fairy).

i think its mewtwo because they have many powers to attack. maybe mewtwo

Let my layout speak for itself! Mew stole my heart in the first Pokemon movie and no other legendary has been able to beat her (I always thought Mew was a she even though it's supposed to be genderless)
