Well, hey guys. Looks like I started typing this story a little late today but oh well. Let's hope I don't mess up because I am half asleep. Anyways, we are now in chapter 13 of my story. Already? Chapter 13: Walking Back Home

Tom and Bob finally made it out of the school. They were both extremely happy and relieved that they have managed to make it out of the vent. They thought the both of their lives were in danger. Tom and Bob thought it was the end when the vent was burning, but once again, they had some good luck with them once more. They were both very grateful for coming out of this vent alive. Tom and Bob ran out of the main entrance and they both continued to run as fast as they can in fear. Then suddenly, they heard someone inside the school yelling, "The ceiling?! What the? Yo!" It was Jeff, Tom and Bob did not realize that he was still inside the school. Tom then said, "Quickly Bob, lets run into those bushes and make a leave from there as fast as possible!" Bob then said in fear, "Okay." They were both panting and running fast. They both continued to run and they jumped right into the bushes.

They were now hiding inside the bushes hoping that Jeff did not see them and they were both trembling in fear. Jeff then walked outside of the school and continued to look around. Tom and Bob just realized that they did not see them and they both got relieved, however, they would still be doomed if Jeff caught them hiding in the bushes so they still continued to shake in fear. Tom then whispered, "Oh my. I had no idea that Jeff was still in the school man. Oh shoot. If we get caught, we are surely done for." Bob then whispered back, "Shh! Don't make a sound. If we stay silent, hopefully, we won't get caught in the bushes." Jeff then continued to stand outside and turn his head in all directions in an attempt to see who is outside. Jeff then said, "Come out you thief! You are not gonna break school property without me beating the heck out of you! Little runts." Jeff then started murmuring horrible and inappropriate words and he was furious. He then said, "Oh great. I'm gonna get fired again or maybe even get a fine because they will suspect that I was the one who destroyed their ceiling thanks to whatever piece of garbage who did this."

Jeff then slowly walked back inside the school. Tom and Bob were both relieved and yet they were wondering why he would stay in the school. Tom then whispered, "Okay, coast is clear. Lets make a run for it!" They both then blasted off to run towards their home. Tom was moving at his fastest possible speed that he can move in and Bob tried his hardest to keep up with him. They both continued to run and they have left the school parking lot. They continued to run in the sidewalk to go back home. Tom then said, "Alright. Cool. We can walk now. No need to run since we are now far enough from our school." They then both stopped and started panting for a few moments. They were both sweating in fear and in loss of energy from running. Bob then said, "Ohh.. boy. Phew. So tired out man. That was one heck of a close one alright. You have no idea how I was in such fear. I thought Jeff was gonna find the both of us and murder us like what he almost done to us several times back in elementary school."

Tom then started laughing and said, "Well, Jeff said that everyone may suspect him as the one who broke the ceiling. If they do suspect him, then Jeff himself is done for. Haha! just imagine him getting a fine and getting fired! Maybe even arrested again! I can't wait to laugh at him when all of this happens. Hahahahaha! That dumb beef jerky is about to get it again. Beef jerkies like him deserves to get barbecued in jail for stupidity. Haha!" Bob then started laughing with him and said, "Heck yea! Not only we are able to know what these weird army men were planning, we were also able to get Jeff in trouble by accident! I really hope he gets in trouble and I'll be so happy to watch him get fired again." 

Tom and Bob continued to walk on the sidewalk. It was sunset. The sun was red while it was setting. Tom and Bob both looked at the sunset and Tom said, "Ohh.. This really reminds of my summer vacation. I really miss summer already man. Such a beautiful view. I really hope we don't get lots of homework and stress already." Bob then said, "You know in next summer, maybe... We should go on a vacation together man. Together with the both of us and the both of our families. Just imagine how much fun will that be! We can go into the same hotel and travel around the world!" Tom then said, "Heck yeah! That's a really awesome idea! I just hope my parents let that happen. I mean, they are extremely kind with guests, especially if it's from my friends at school like you, but I'm not so sure if they will ever go that far, but, no problem and no harm in trying. I'm usually known as the best one to convince a parent for something like this. Haha! You know me, Bob. Right? Bob said, "Yea. I remember you, especially the way you were in elementary school. You were very skilled in making parents and teachers do what you want by convincing them in one of the most epic ways ever. I remember you fake crying to a teacher and they thought you were really crying and then they did not give you or any of the students detention and you saved everyone and your own life because of it!"

Tom then started laughing and said, "Well, take advantage of the gullible or dumb teachers man! It really helped man. Haha. Good times. Good times." Tom and Bob continued to walk through the sidewalk and they were now approaching their neighborhood. Strangely, once they saw their neighborhood, everything turned around. The sky turned from sweet red into dark grey again. It slowly turned darker and darker. It now turned to dark purple and this time, the sun vanished. Tom and Bob noticed that everything was now dark purple and it was now becoming extremely cold and they were about to start to freeze to death. Tom then said, "AHH!!! Whats going on? Why is it getting cold? Why is everything going dark purple?" Bob then said, "Ugh... I guess it's another one of those dumb sightings coming after us. Again."

Suddenly, there was extreme fast winds and black mists coming towards them and they were both being blown away. Tom and Bob grabbed on to the ground and they were being pushed by a black mist. It continued to push them and then there was a high pitched voice saying, "Save this neighborhood!" and then the voice faded away and the sightings were now gone again and there was no more winds coming but now, the sunset was over and it was dark. The sky was dark blue and normal but with no stars in the sky and a full moon was showing up. Tom and Bob looked up at the sky in amazement and Tom said, "What the heck? How did the sun set so fast? And what are these sightings? Why are those sightings still coming after us? It must have something to do with the plans of the army men since that is the only suspicious thing I can point out right now!" 

Bob then said, "Yea. It's as if they are playing some kind of trick on our minds, but, those tricks will not fool us! But, they can mean something to us after all.. though..." Tom then said, "Yea. Let's get going to my house. We will make a counter plan to the army men's dumb plans so they won't be able to catch us. We must always be sure to be a step ahead of them so our plans can work out well. I just hate it when one thing just randomly turns out wrong out of bad luck  and then we have to instantly change our plans right at the moment and start going through even worse things afterwards, but then later on, we get some good luck again at the end like what happened in the vent." Bob then said, "Yea. It's not really always about how you start it, it's about how you end it Tom. Like, would you rather have a good start and a bad ending? or a bad start and a good ending? Just like a running race. You start out not moving at your highest speed to save your energy but once the final lap comes and you start to reach the end of the track to the finish-line, you would move as fast as you possibly can to end the track as 1st place. Right? So, it's okay if our plans start out not so good, as long as it ends well, it's fine. Everything has it's ups and downs."

Tom then said in a somewhat agreeing voice, "Uhh... I guess you are.... Mostly correct, but what if... The bad start we get is soo bad to the point that we can not make it end well because of it?" Bob then went silent for a few moments. He then groaned and said, "Ugh... No reason to stress it out man. I guess talking about this in depth will just make things even more complicated, but, oh well. I guess whats best to do is to just make our own plans to the best of our abilities and then if we encounter trouble, we just have to deal with it to the best of our abilities and eventually, things can go well for us again, hopefully man."

Tom and Bob continued to walk slowly and they were getting very close to their houses now. Bob then said, "Well, we safely made it to our homes man. What else can I tell you?" Tom then looked at himself and his own clothes and then he said, "Oh no!!! My clothes seemed like they are burned from the vent when it was hot and I have several bruises everywhere on my body! Oh boy. My parents are definitely gonna suspect that something was up." Bob then looked at himself and he was also just like Tom, he was also full of bruises and burns everywhere. Bob then said, "Well, not good. Not good at all. My parents are gonna punish me, question me, ground me, yell at me, and stalk me even more often now and they will never allow me to hang out after-school again! Dang it! Why does this has to happen?" 

Tom then said, "Uhh... Shall we attempt to make up some plan to not make our parents worry and not suspect anything before we actually try to enter our houses?" Bob then said, "Yea. But I'm completely out of ideas and plans for something like this. We must find a way to hide all of our bruises and burned up marks before coming to your house." Tom and Bob then stood and stopped walking since they started coming very near to Tom's house and they stood for a few moments thinking for a plan to hide their suspicious marks. 

Will Tom and Bob be able to make up a plan to hide their marks? Will Tom and Bob's parents suspect anything up? Will they be able to make a successful counter plan? What do those sightings mean? Find out in the next upcoming chapters guys! Ugh... I typed this pretty late at night today. I'm surprised I even managed to type this now.
