I think that I'm at three now. I don't remember one, honestly, and then there was a shiny purrloin...and then...no, actually, that's it. But my friend caught a shiny shuckle when I left the game at his house on his first wild pokemon encounter, if that counts, so that does make three, lol

I've caught at least 4 shiny Pokémon in my real life games and 5 in some of the hacks on here ... I've collected more then that through trading with other people so far thankz to trading with others I have 2 shiny male absol, 1 shiny luxray, 1 shiny charizard, and a few other shiny Pokémon that I don't want to list since I don't like bragging it brings out the worst traits in people and breeds jealousy

I'm working on breeding my two shiny Pikachu though no shiny offspring have come of it yet sadly

I've never been into shiny hunting so my captures are a bit spread out. The first one I can remember would be a shiny drowzee in the original Silver that I almost didn't notice because it was purple and I was at Goldenrod City. I thought it was a ditto until I realized its name was still Drowzee. Too bad that save got deleted or corrupted.

I caught a shiny sableye in the Pokemon emerald emulator that use to be on the site. I nearly caught a shiny spearow in the friend safari in Pokemon X, but I fainted it. So, I haven't had that much luck.

I finally caught my first real shiny in Pokémon X.

I was grind training in the forest near the end of the game (training up a third team) and I had trained so much that I started a chain, and eventually I encountered, and caught with a quick ball, a shiny Noctowl!

I mean i've battled a wild shiny Rattata and Larvitar (i know.. shiny Tyranitar will look so dank) but i manage to kill em.. yeah, i was rockin my 'fighting a gym' starters instead of 'catching fools' starters so yeah.. one bangin shiny is real

Between X, Alpha Sapphire, and Sun, I've captured about 50-60 or so shiny pokemon. The majority of the ones in X and ORAS came from chain fishing and a few lucky encounters in the friend safari. In Sun, I've only captured 3 shiny Pokemon through the SOS chaining method. I have a lot more shinies in all 3 games, but I bred for them, which isn't the same as going into the wild and capturing one.

I traded most of the ones I captured through X and ORAS chain fishing in order to get different shinies from other players (since chain fishing is mostly limited to fish and water Pokemon).

I have found a total of ZERO shiny Pokemon that I've seen in any kind of Pokemon game I have played so far. It's really impressive on how rare it is, despite how long I've played each game. Meh, maybe some day.
