The question has 2 parts. How many movies do you own AND what movies do you own (DVD, VHS, and Downloaded. It doesn't matter!)
(By "Movies" I mean Theatrical Films. That means they have to had appeared in theaters at some point in time). I own 7 movies and they are:

VHS:
The Wizard

DVD:
Barnyard
Toy Story 3
Shiloh Season
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
Matilda
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

I own a LOT OF MOVIES! I'm actually going to sit here and name them (I own over 100)

- I own the whole Transformers Trilogy.
- I own the whole Lord of the Rings Trilogy
- I own the Hobbit.
- I own all of the Matrix's
- I own all of the Transporter movies.
- I own all the movies that Silvester Stallone features in.

Okay. I give up LOL! I own A LOT of movies.

I have no idea just exactly how many movies I own, but I have a whole bunch that stay downstairs on a rack in rows. There are a lot of VHS ones and then we have dvds, a lot of the vhs ones are old disney movies and then some other old stuff. I would maybe guess somewhere between 150- 200 movies or maybe even more.


Besides having a lot of disney ones,I also have:

- All of the transformer movies
- All lord of the rings movies
- All of the harry potter movies in blu ray definition
- All of the toy story movies as well


So to wrap it up I own a whole bunch of movies, but sometimes we rent a movie from fios on demand, but we don't buy it from there though, it's just to expensive.

I collect movies, and contemplations, like WWE movies, like the TLC, or WWE World Heavy Weight Championship type stuff. 

But at last count, I think I am at about 60 or so? That sounds about right. 

I would say it is in the thousands by now.
I spent a good 12 year period without a cable bill.
Get rid of commercials and all the other crap.
I only have about 2 to 4 hours a day (at max) for entertainment and Off Duty time for my self during those years. The five dollar movie bin and "Blockbusters" going out of business "4 or 5 for $20.00 bucks" was very kind to me in those last few years. Got to see and own all kinds of good shows. Particularly in the crime fiction section and the Kung-Fu section.

(Witch reminds me I have to get a new copy of "Hard Boiled" by John Woo. My current one has a laser burn problem with the first two minutes. The scene with all of the news pappers just before they get into the "Tea house." The rest of the film plays fine though.)
I love movies.
They have a beginning, a middle, and an end.
Simple and perfect for me at that time.

I wish C.D. folders were cheaper. They really have a way of hindering a good collection. (Particularly with organizing.)
I could open my own "D.V.D. Rental / Book Loaning / Coffee House" if I wanted.
Though it would not fair well in today's world. (Thank you "Starbucks" and "Barnes and Noble". You guys killed 3 of my Retirement plans from my teen years. With just Five of your years of Partnership. Thank you very much. Thank you even further by screwing up the business for the rest of us Permanently. No one reads now. You punks happy?)

But yes, I was a movie buff.
I could still be one today but I like messing around in my video games these days.

I wish I had enough movies so I could count, but I can't I have so many movies I do not know how to deal with it. That is kind of annoying have your house packed with movies that you rarely decide to watch. It doesn't make sense especially when the can get scratched up very easy, and wont be playable anymore. Still though most movies I have a did enjoy, but I only watch them when I am extremely bored, and have nothing else better to do. Watching movies are lame, but can be extremely fun however.  It only depends on what you have to do.

Well, I own lots and lots of movies but they are all old. Around 50 to 100 I guess. They are mostly karate and Bruce lee movies because my dad loves karate, lol.

I have nearly 88 movies owned

I don’t have that many movies (other than on a mobile device), I own 15 DVDs and 5 Blu-ray movies, for a total of 20 movies, but if I add the movies I have on my Mobile device, I have a total of 40 movies (20 on my mobile device).

I own 23 movies i think unless i missed one. 

I have 59 movies 
these are from different genre

I think I own around 30 movies most of which I haven't watched in forever.
They're all dvd's I used to have vhs too but I sold them way back. When I watch movies now I usually watch them on my computer if I'm looking for a specific movie.

Downloaded, I have around 60 movies, on my iPod, I have 40, 40 VHS tapes, I own 30 DVD's, and I have 5 Blu Rays.
