The new team of moderators have been hired. If you didn't get hired, please don't feel bad or left out. There were so many amazing choices to choose from and so the voters really had to find a way to narrow it down. I'm happy and comfortable with the team selected and we even had a surprise 11th pick added to the team that the moderators themselves voted in. Anyways, if you weren't voted in, there will more than likely be users stepping down for various reasons and their spots will most likely be filled quickly. I also plan to do something similar with the Site Staff soon so please reapply for that if any of you are at all interested

What a variety of username colors! xD

I like the mix of veterans like geeo and LK, experienced mods like Zlinqx and Furret and new blood like supernerd and Lunar. Having at least double the locals with experience versus newcomers will make it easier for the new recruits to get used to the position rather quickly.

While I'd like to say I'll do my best, life can get in the way more often than not, but at least I can guarantee I'll keep contributing to the site like I've been for the past 4 1/2 years.

Most importantly, I feel like a lot of us are more or less in touch with a good amount of the community, but if it ever seems like we aren't, we're open to feedback. Doing away with a lot of the division between the users and staff is going to be a running theme with this team. Having said that, I think I can speak on behalf of the team in saying thank you for the understanding.
