Without a doubt my favourite theme in the Super Mario series is the Bowser boss fight theme. It is quite the juxtaposition to the rest of the game music wise. The rest of the game seems to be various variations of this track, which I don't mind because it suits the mario games yet it does not compete in the same league as the Super Mario boss fight theme and especially the Bowser Boss Fight Theme.

I like the original theme the best. It's always familiar and familiarity is the only thing I really look for when playing a Mario game. It's pretty cool how much time is spent into video game music, I never realized before.

A lot of the music is good in Mario games. I think Yoshi's Island had some good ones. Super Mario Brothers 2 had a nice theme. Super Mario Brothers 3 Giant Land had the best music in the game. I also think the ice level had a cool theme, no pun intended. Finally, Super Mario World had some good themes to it as well.

I really like all of the music from Mario Kart Double dash for the game cube. It is the only set of Mario Kart music I can enjoy. There are some outstanding soundtracks in different games but on a whole Double Dash is the dominator. There is something about it which makes you get into the mood for mario kart and all of the songs suit the game perfectly.

Other than being games in general I really like the battle theme for battling bowser in Super Mario World for the SNES. It is the best single song in all Mario games, you just cant beat it. It is one of those songs that you would expect to be from a Doom level!
