I'm dealing with some illness and I was binge-watching Markiplier on YouTube, watching him run through some horror games. I get the feeling that while, yes, he is commenting for an audience during his video, that he talks to games while he plays them.

Do you talk to your games while you play them? Do you root your pokemon on or do you tell bad guys what they can go do?

Do you talk to video games when no one else is around?

A lot. It never ends.

And adults and friends get annoyed by that too. I don't know why, but it's annoying for me too. Always needing to give a reaction...

No, but I have a feeling if I ever started streaming, I would. Yknow, extra commentary and whatnot.

Not really. I know some people that do but the only time I ever address the game is when I'm exclaiming in frustration. Something along the lines of "AWWW WHAT?! C'MON! REALLY???" I rarely get frustrated at games so something tells me that I'd be a pretty boring streamer or youtuber. Most of my content would just be me sucking at my favorite games without commentary.

I always talk to my games, like phrases like, "Oh, come on." stuff like that, especially when I'm playing a shooter or Minecraft... Those are the only two I do that with.

Yeah, I'm the guy who shouts "DIE! DIE! DIE!" while playing Zelda OK really? I don't talk a lot anyways. But sometimes I do when playing certain games series, like Ace Attorney. It's actually a habit I'd like to break...

Sometimes, mostly when I die in some stupid way, I say some nasty words to my game to make him regret to letting me die.  

Yeah when I did streaming before I did. And I still do with my gaming regardless. I mean I don't stream anymore but plan on starting up again real soon. Like it unconsciously happens on its own I am a gamer. So if I die or if I get surprised I would say something. XD

I'm mostly silent when I play video games, except maybe to curse when I get really frustrated and angry.

Eniitan : If you do start streaming again, let me know! Especially if you upload them afterward. I usually can't watch streams with my connection, but I can watch videos with no trouble (because I can borrow a phone for it). Also I'm trying to picture you talking to a game...not sure what you would say since I can't picture you raging...ever. Lol


I don't talk to games at all, unless I'm recording myself and then that's for the viewer's sake as much as anything, because as m0ss pointed out a while back, I have a silly sense of humor. Mostly what you'll see is because I like making people laugh or even smile, and my silliness is one way I do that. However...I'm also silly when no one else is around because I get a kick out of it.

I mumble some dutch swear words, does that count? I don't really say anything besides swear words lol.

Do I? I can't shut up for the love of me. I talk every second specially during PvP. Now, horror games I just screamed quite a bit but, for the most part try to stay really quiet so they can't hear me lol. I don't think it helps my game at all but, makes it more engaging. Now, I've seen some people completely lose their mind during a game just going insane and slamming things- it's funny to watch but, still relax it's a game (Says the one who punched a computer screen and now has to use a Vista laptop). 

Always! Even when there are other people around, I talk to the games, cheer for the characters, and jump around with the controllers so that the characters will move faster- er... well... I mean… you know... oO;; ... ^^0;;

In any case, it's always more fun (to me anyways) to play in groups with everyone cheering for each other (it's also amusing to see who says what when they start cheering for their own characters). rofl I know of someone that starts saying the names of their character's attacks when they play Super Smash Bros. Brawl. They usually play Pikachu, so you'd actually hear them say, "Pika! Pikaaa...chuuuuu~~!!" in the same tone of voice too while they're zapping someone. XD (Can you imagine what their 100-Man Brawl would sound like?) If there's another Pikachu on the team, they'll say it for that Pikachu too. XD Then, there's another one that just yells, "NOOOO!!" every time they fall under a ledge. After that, they'd sigh heavily and glower at the screen while they wait for their character to respawn.

As for me... someone's mentioned to me before that I sometimes make the same faces that my characters make. ^^0;; Thus, you can kind of imagine what I look like when I'm playing as Peach, Bowser, Zelda,  Kirby, Samus, Snake, Toon Link, or Meta Knight etc. …

oO;; Maybe I shouldn't try anything like streaming stuff online… ^^0;; But yeah... This is why I will probably never get a camera or a microphone, even for netplay. lol

I kind of do, but that's because I feel like talking out loud just makes me play the game better or stragitize better.


Half of the time when I'm talking about a game, It's usually me raging over people using some cheesing tactics.

For Example, in a game called Diep.io  3 People were teaming up on me, and they were all rammers.    The thing about the rammer class is that it can one shot you if it bumps into you.

Normally I can pick a triangle or destroyer and deal with them, but with 3 rammers I couldn't find them off because they were teaming.

Now If it was Team mode, I'd understand but it was Free for all which meant teaming shouldn't be a thing.



I also get joy when I beat people who cheese the game too.

My parents and siblings get quite annoyed, and ask"who are you talking to?" when I do this stuff,   and like I've said half of my talking comes from raging at a game due to pure nonsense.
