Soo.. The end of summer break now is either close or has already come for the most of us. (I think) My summer break ends pretty much on August 28 (a few days away). Of course you don't have to answer all these questions below and in descr How was your summer break? Did you enjoy it? What did you do? Do you even care about summer? Anything special, cool, fun... etc or not? etc... How do you feel about the end of your summer? Excited? Or not? (lol I'm not excited because college is a ton of work) For me... I didn't really do anything that great for the most of my summer break. I pretty much just worked part time as a tutor in my college. And before I started working, I went on vacation to Florida with my family for one week. We just swam and hung out in the beach, pretty much. Then ate at some restaurants and discovered the area. Then swim in a nice hotel pool. There was also some cool nature reserve park where I took some nice nature pictures. Overall it was nice. Then I ended my summer break by going on another, very small vacation with my family to somewhere else. We didn't like the area though and the beach was kinda bad so we left soon. lolol. My summer breaks ends tomorrow  It was pretty fun but this month was mostly lonely since I didn't feel like doing much and many people I know went back to school before I do. Before my summer vacation started I went on a trip to a hotel, with many things to do close to it,with my family, which was cool but the day after we got there I was very sick for the rest of the time.I'm really excited to start school because I might talk to friends I didn't get to talk to all summer, and I'll have some opportunities to make new friends. Also, every class I have this trimester I'm looking forward to except for Algebra. I have Spanish, Chemistry, Psychology, and Fitness Walking (I've heard Fitness Walking is as easy as it sounds  ). Well I'm no longer in school or college since I have long graduated. But my parents get a summer break for a few weeks in July. So that is when we go on our vacation. That is the part of summer I like. We usually walk, hike, go to crafts fairs, and other stuff. Now Summer in general is not my favorite season. Not to put a damper on anybody but Summer causes me a lot of problems. The heat plays havoc with my condition cause I don't breathe that well. I do not like temps over 90 degrees. Also this particular summer has been bone dry in my area we are 12.5 inches below rainfall. So my grass and flowers have suffered. Now, when I was a student, I really didn't have any negative feelings that Summer Break was ending. I still have a few weeks of summer break, but my parents will end it next week. Overall, it's been overly awesome. By next week, I'll have spent 18/19 days home alone. Man, how refreshing it is to be that much time home alone, being able to do everything I want with nobody telling me otherwise and managing my time just for myself. Being able to enjoy TV without the stupid comments of my parents ruining the moment, not having to listen to them around the house... Summer really is the best. I had a few night outs as well, which were incredible. I think it was like two months since our last night out, so it felt very special. It's also one of those things I needed to refresh myself and relieve the accumulated stress of everyday life. But well, the only unique thing we did was doing the "warm-up" at my home because I was home alone, besides that I can do everything else outside of summer break lol For a few days, temperatures were very high, but I think that July was hotter overall, so it's not been that hard of a summer. Now temperatures are okay, still hot but it doesn't rain fire anymore. I'll really miss the heat, because I prefer it over cold temperatures. I personally am excited for the end of summer. You people in the US are so lucky. Here in Europe and I think most non american countries in general summer break is much shorter. You mostly seem to have 3 months-ish long breaks. We have about half of that in Sweden and they're considering making it even shorter than it already is.... Anyway my summer break was alright. I played a bunch of games, won another TdV jersey and spent some time with friends even if rarely. I also went to my brothers girlfriend moving in/birthday party which was pretty cool. I guess what actually made this summer stand out is that I've started being a lot more healthy. At least after the summer TdV. I've completely stopped eating candy, snacks like chips and drinking soda. Which I actually initially did for the effect they had on my teeth more than my body. Now I pretty much never buy them and only eat them when offered or eating at a restaurant. Which is rare and right now I think I've gone an entire month without having any of it. That's a pretty big deal considering I used to have it pretty much whenever I could afford it meaning several times a week a lot of the time. It's very rare for me to have any sort of craving for it now. I also started going to the gym regularly (every 2 days) and still am now that school started again even if it is a bit rough with being tired from school each day. I've started eating more which is a good thing (since I'm underweight) and actually eating proper food in stead of using snacks like a substitute. I've even somewhat fixed my So basically, not a ton of exciting things have happened but I've made a lot of positive improvements to my life that I hope I'll be able to stick with. So in that sense its been pretty significant. As for how I felt about starting school again, it's mixed. On the one hand I get bored during the summer, at least now when I didn't have a summer job. I basically have too much free time for the most part. Starting school again meant I'd have something to put that time into and get rid of that boredom. It's also kind of fun because I have some interesting subjects this year (Japanese, International Relations, Introductory Law) and was able to drop my most time consuming/least liked subject (French) which was a big load off. On the other hand this still means I'm a lot more tired now that its started again and with me having more subjects than last year that means longer days.... Now that I'm trying to live better that also means I have less time to be lazy and play games. So that boredom will be

I still have a couple weeks left before I go back to school, if I can even cover tuition, so there's still plenty more for me to do, but I think my summer was a blast so far. I had a fun summer job, went to the beach in a far away place, watched a ton of movies in theaters and went to baseball games, watched a ton of fireworks, and this Friday will be one of the biggest days of the summer for me, so as long as I get enough time to relax fully between now and when I go back, I will have found it to be a great summer. -------------------- |

Welp for me summer is the same. But for this one it was a little different. I got to go out to places also to many BBQ this month as well lol. Speaking of which I am going to another to church this Sunday. I'll be bringing my homemade ice cream my family so adores I am also thinking of making lemon cake too. It depends though. I say this summer was a little better for me since usually it would like nothing happening. I enjoyed myself with what I can for this month. Sadly I haven't as of yet gone to karate classes I still intend of going when my mum has the money. I pretty much enjoyed this summer I hope something even better happens next year.  -------------------- |

My summer break ends tomorrow. Or rather today, tomorrow I go back to school.
I couldn't be any more happier. Summer break sucks. I dislike everything about it. The days where it's so hot your sweat starts to sweat, the blazing sun being out for 14 hours a day, the insane amount of insects, flies, mosquitoes, rodents, etc..., and there's so much pressure. Like, if you're not working 12 hours a day, or going out with friends every day, you're wasting your summer. I like to spend my summer break relaxing with a part time job (which is what I could only get because of various reasons), and most of my friends went out to other places, or just live way too far. The worst part is I get bored. The first week is great, I can do everything I want to. And that's the problem. Everything I want to do is gone by the first couple of weeks, and I get a month or two without doing much. I long for school, seriously. I can see my friends and class mates, I get out of the house, and I actually have something productive to do. Winter break is awesome though. Not as long so I don't get bored, the days are nice and cold, sometimes snow is there, and best of all, every single insect and such is burning in insect hell where they belong I couldn't be any more happier. I'm far from school age sadly ( ) but I am affected quite a bit by Summer break and such as I have two school age nephews that spend a good deal of time at my house. Summer break means more time to spend over here and that means all day gaming sessions. However all day gaming sessions aren't nearly as much fun when you're playing with little ones because it involves reading everything to them, helping them beat the hard parts so they can steal the controller when the easy part (and the fun payoffs for completing the hard parts) starts back, etc. And then there's switching games just as you're starting to enjoy them...several times a day. xD
I like having them over some, but honestly I needed the rest so school resuming wasn't too bad, but I can't say I was leaping for joy either. It was just sort of a "meh" thing. I go to college next Monday. I am not too fussed about summer ending. I'll get to do something besides going out for runs and playing video games. I am 1 of 2 boys in my class which should be fun. -------------------- |

I haven't had a summer break in a over five years. Either taking online college classes or working. But, I manage to still somewhat celebrate Summer breaks lol. I went to Saint Augustine, FL and enjoyed the beach it was nice and warm, visited local markets but, mostly just worked in my home- getting furniture in and rearranging, now I have another room to get to, yard work, tried some new steak recipes, and online gaming and beer. Not too bad- though a nice hotel and pool and relaxation sounds so good lol.  |

My last day of summer break is on Sunday. Of course, my summer break had partially ended already since last week because marching band practice starts 2 weeks before school. Speaking of marching band, first game is tomorrow, so I have to perform there. This is the sad thing about joining marching band. I have to go to every football game now, and up til this year, I always avoided those cuz they never interest me. Other than marching band, my summer has been alright. The first month was spent with relatives staying over at my house. It had been a lot of fun, but because of them, I had to give up my room, therefore, give up my privacy. It was less enjoyable, so obviously, when they left, I was really happy to have my room back. With my relatives, I got to go to several places with them, so I had fun. Then after that happened, I was happy to have my room back, but I didn't really do anything else besides celebrating my birthday and my anniversary on being a Vizzed member. Summer was great, but now it's time to be ready for school. Time to tackle my senior year of high school. Other than marching band, my summer has been alright. The first month was spent with relatives staying over at my house. It had been a lot of fun, but because of them, I had to give up my room, therefore, give up my privacy.
