NintendoFanKimmy : Its a good thing I didn't see much of that spider......because I would had screamed that was very scary for me. As for big hero 6 I didn't laugh I was so sad I was going to cry at that part. No one wanted him to leave we wanted him to stay and never leave! Well you answered 2 of the ones I was going to post about. @.@

C'mon guys, no Bambi!??

I don't actually remember crying at movies but apparently I cried at Bambi everytime I saw it? idk.

Also no one brought up Mufasa's death from the lion king? All I can say is that I am disappointed.

btw yes Dobby's death was painful, I was happy when cedric died because he was like the worst character ever in the series.

imamonster : I was five or six years old when I saw Bambi with my parents. My mother apparently was crying when she saw the movie and she remembered I looked at her like she a fool. Apparently I had no emotions back in the day.

The movie House on Haunted Hill got me since there was a mix of ghosts, torture, horror, and violence in there. I was younger when I saw it and I was completely unprepared for the movie psychologically. It got me. I was upset for some of the evening and I got over it quickly.

I revisited House on Haunted Hill not too long ago and I roll my eyes over what a wimp I was. It wasn't scary and it wasn't that aggressive compared to some of the Saw movies or Hostel, where the whole point is violence and torture.

The Grudge, the original Japanese version, really got me too. I still can't think about that one.

-SPOILER ALERTS-

I've only been legit scared while watching a movie a few times. One vibrant memory that comes to mind is one of the Child's Play movies I was watching (I don't remember which one). The whole movie was pretty creepy in my opinion. Another memory that comes to mind is in the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone moment where Professor Quirrel removed his turban and revealed Voldemort. I frankly didn't know whether to be horrified or disgusted because it was both. That was the first time we saw Voldemort in the movies and it was pretty scary for me.

I'm not much of a crier, especially when it comes to movies. I think the only time I cried during a movie was in the movie "Hachi: A Dog's Tale". I cried two times during this movie. The first time was when the Professor died and Hachi kept going back to the same spot near the train station to wait for him. The second time was when Hachi died in the snow and dreams of being reunited with the Professor. That one got me really good. ;(

NintendoFanKimmy : whenever I think about the scariest shows that I ever saw there are 2 that come to my mind, the first one is a show I used to watch on TV back in my childhood days called the house of FRANKENSTEIN the host of the show was VINCENT PRICE I remember how the introduction to the show used to always send a chill down my spine it was like something from a HALLOWEEN movie if anyone wants to check it out I know it can be found on U TUBE since that,s the last place that I saw it.the other is a horror movie called POLTERGEIST one particular part of the show that scared me was when the little girl in the show kept staring into a TV that had a snowy screen and suddenly a long monster type hand came out and touched her,I also read somewhere about the history of this movie where some of the actors and actresses mysteriously died when the the show was being made.as for shows that made me cry I would have to go with UNCLE BUCK when JOHN CANDY did the wave although at first it did not make me cry it does now since I know he died,I was a big fan of his movies and 2 of my favorites are UNCLE BUCK and PLANES,TRAINS and AUTOMOBILES which I own a VHS copy of each one

I cry a lot with really good movies that have good stories. In fact, I'm already very conflicted about seeing the Sully movie because I can barely bring myself to watch the trailer anymore because it's so sad because of the fact that all of it actually happened. I also cry a lot every time I watch Interstellar. Another scene that was really sad was the whole time the aliens were landing in the newest Indepenance Day movie, as well as all of Everest and even Zootopia.

No movie has ever scared me but there's a couple that have made me cry, mostly those really old Pixar movies like Finding Nemo and Toy Story. I always cry a little bit there, partly because of their sad scenes but just because how nostalgic they are lol.

Minuano : I don't know if you watch a lot of movies or not but I have a few suggestions if you want to try to be scared. Please review the list below and check them out at night all by yourself. Tell me, honestly, if you try and make it through.

Horror movies nowadays aren't made like they used to make 'em. Now it's all about how much gore and spatter can be achieved.

Maybe you can even look at Korean and Asian horror. Those people know their atmospheric scares.

Try:

The Orphanage (Spanish)
The Exorcist
The Host (Korean)

Lastly, just for the fun of it, check out "A Serbian Film." Try not to get upset at that one.

I can be really emotional while watching movies so I do cry a lot while watching them but getting scared is a different question. I started watching horror films at a really young age and at some point it felt like I'd become immune to them. I suppose nothing can be as traumatizing as 'The Exorcist' when you're 7-years-old. But lately... I've become such a scaredy cat. It's been little over a year since I saw Sinister 2 in the theaters and sometimes I still feel anxious about watching the movie. Only 30 minutes in and I felt so awful that I almost left the whole theater. But I endured it and was probably scarred for life. Don't watch that movie on a big screen with the sound system so loud that your ears are nearly bleeding, that alone will haunt you for days.

I love horror movies so it takes a lot to scare  me. I mean sure you have jump scares and all of that, but I never get actually scared. Although when I was a kid, probably 3 or 4, the movie Maximum Overdrive scared the hell out of me. The reason for that? The Green Goblin face on the Happy Toyz truck. Of course 3 years later I seen the movie again, and I loved the film. By far one of my favorite Stephen King film, it's a shame he doesn't love the film lol.

The only time I really screamed in fright was during The Ring (the US version). When you see the first "victim" from the screen terror, it gets you by surprise since you don't know what's awaiting you.

I was scared by Night of the Tornadoes. I literally thought they were always outside all the time, I couldn't get over it. I woke my mom up so much trying to get her to notice them

I felt really silly a while later, but still.
