Food is great. There are a few different types of food, at least taste buds wise. Sweet, sour, savory, spicy, etc. Out of sweet and spicy food, which one do you guys prefer? I really like spicy foods more than sweet foods, and when I want to eat a snack or something, I like eating spicy chips like Takis or the Doritos equivalent of that rather than eating something sweet like cookies or cake or something like that. What about you? What do you like more?

Honestly it's kind of almost a tie for me. It really depends on which one I'm
craving at the moment, because sometimes a cup of spicy ramen sounds
better than a pudding cup and vice versa.Though I think I lean a little more towards spicy if I have the choice, only because if I eat to many sweet things they'll start to make my teeth hurt.

Actually, practically nearly a mix to be honest tho.  
   Besides, sweet foods feel like a delight, as it honest takes you to a paradise as you were going on a holiday to Peru or Hawaii, and cakes, cookies, and cupcakes practically fit that descriptions (heck, they even exaggerated them in those commercials!) Although, spicy foods makes you endure something, almost like an adventure I guess, and there spicy flavoured chips (especially those halapeno chips tho). However, I feel like sweet foods are better mostly because there are more options when it comes to it, fruits are healthy, and you can have yogurt if you are feeling guilty.

I prefer spicy food since I don't eat like a lot of sweet hot food if you get what I mean. I was more grown up to like spicy food more than sweet food. I like how spicy food helps you to like warm up your body, and stuff. The one time I had something sweet was sweet, and sour Chinese meal. Sometimes I would have some BBQ ribs, but still overall like spicy food a whole lot more.

I can't really say, since both foods are great, but I guess I prefer spicy food slightly more than sweet. I enjoy eating a lot spicy Pringles (my 2nd favorite), and I like red spicy sauce with spaghetti.

Oh and fun fact: When you eat spicy food, drink milk instead of water. It's more effective.

Make it hot. Fire that food up. I like getting the hottest thing in the restaurant and making strong eye contact at the cooks who are silently daring me to finish the meal off. I always do. I trained back in the day to eat the hot stuff and I went from Tabasco and BeeSting to the really hot stuff.

I'm even growing tabasco peppers and ghost peppers in my yard as we speak. Down the road, I'll dry them out, and cut a bit to add to soups, stews, and chili.

I had ghost pepper salsa a few weeks back and that fired me up nice and warm and I enjoyed every second of it.

I get the four Cross-Bones Dim Mak (Death Touch) from No Thai, the local thai food place and they always say, "Are you sure?" I eat all the drunken noodles, the beef, and I slurp down the juice when I'm done because I'm hardcore like that.

Make it hot.

Sweet is for girls and wimps.

Fire is for men and tough chicks.

Why does it have to be one or the other?
Sweet chili Doritos are one of the best flavors and they are both sweet and spicy.

I like both but i have more of a spicy tooth over a sweet one. It really depends on the food though. I'd eat hummingbird cake one moment and hot wings the next. ((IK it sounds weird but I don't mind mixing tastes.))

To be honest, I like both. But if I had to pick one, I would think I'd lean towards spicy food more. And that's mainly because there's absolutely nothing like the hot wings you get at Hooters. I've been to lots of places that have some pretty good wings ( including a few bowling alleys if you can believe that lol ) but the ones that Hooters makes are simply the best!

I have also read that spicy foods can actually be good for your health, especially spicy peppers like chili peppers. It can also help you lose weight as a lot of spicy foods can make you feel way more full by actually eating less. And the reason why you feel the heat when you're eating these foods is because they are designed to make you not eat them. People are the only animals that are actually "willing" to eat foods like that.

Definitely spicy, I love ordering the hottest thing on the menu at restaurants. I go to Wingers when I got time to kill just to order wings with the hottest sauce they got for lunch. Spicy will always be a painful pleasure to eat.

I'll pick sweet. Why? I don't even know how spicy foods really are like. I rarely ever eat any, thus I can't even imagine how it tastes. Or if I'm eating spicy food atm

I can't resist that spicy little drops of hot sauce hell. Whether it's normal food, snacks, fast food, I swear once I even put hot sauce on sweets! And I loved it!

I also like sweets as well but not as much as a normal person would like. I prefer eating a salty snack rather than a piece of chocolate, but spicy food will always have a special place in my kokoro :3

I absolutely love both sides of the spectrum here. But if I really had to chose, I would pick spicy over sweet. I love pepperjack, jalepeno chips, and I have a recipe for spicy caramel corn that's da bomb. Sometimes I even delve into habenaro and ghost peppers.

Almost everyone here has chosen spicy... I don't like spicy food... I mean, I'll eat food that is a little bit spicy, but that's it..

I prefer sweets, definitely, but I don't like too much sweet either.

I prefer spicy food most of the time, it's just more tasty to me which is ironic considering I've never really liked eating chili peppers of any kind. Most sweet foods are usually pretty unhealthy though so I rarely end up eating it because of that. Blame my arab heritage for preferring spicy food lol.

The only exception is when I'm having Chinese I might eat something sweet or even mix it up a bit. I'm not the most experienced eater of spicy food though so I usually like to have something to wash it down with if it's of the more extreme kind.

It varies over time. One month I may prefer spicy, the next month I'll only take sweet.

A lot of the time this is influenced by trying new foods from either of these "categories". Maybe I'll try some really good curry and be swayed in the direction of spicy foods for a little while, until the feeling either subsides naturally or I have an *ahem* unpleasant experience with another spicy food.

Then another sweet/spicy food catches my attention.....and the cycle continues.

It's not extremely spicy. It just has a little bit of chili spice in there and pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the chocolate.

It's kinda like how salted caramel balances out.
