This thread is for people to vote on which game should be played first in this forum! Anyone can vote; however, the following people will be summoned because they have participated in Mafia 20 - Mafia Legacy and are currently dead. Don't worry, kirbman, Zlinqx. I haven't forgotten you guys. I'm saving up the Viz for the changes, and once I have enough for y'all, I will instate you guys. Looking forward to your help (and participation in games )!

Here are the options! I've excluded Pokemon mafia for now because it has the potential to be HUGE, and I want to start with something more manageable; besides that, that would detract from Mafia Legacy.

1. Smash Bros. Mafia

13 roles: 3 mafia, 8 town, 2 independent.

This game is fairly tame compared to the others, but possibly not the most balanced.

2. Psych Mafia

13 roles: 3 mafia, 7 town, 3 independent

This game is almost definitely the most balanced game, but has potential to have things shaken up.

3. Mario Mafia:

14 roles: 4 mafia, 7 town, 3 independent

This game features two special roles; one allows me to control the direction the game takes somewhat, the other will require the mafia to undertake a guessing game; more hints will be given as the mafia targets that specific player. This means the game could wildly fluctuate depending on how players play things.

4. Disney Mafia:

20 roles: 5 mafia, 11 town, 4 independent

Balance is helped by some limitations placed on specific town members and the nature of some of the independents. Each character will act (in role) somewhat similar to their character (with the exception of 1!). However, players are barred from acting "in character" due to the nature of many of the roles in the game. I have made a lot of things plain, so if a guess were made, it would probably be right. That's why I cannot allow "in character" acting in this one.

5. Meme Mafia:

12 roles: 3 mafia, 7 town, 2 independent

Most characters are from well-known memes, but some are lesser known. 1 role has the ability to completely shake up the game in a way I cannot disclose. The rest are fairly plain roles for the most part.

Voting will close Saturday at noon Central time. The roles will then be sent out before the game starts Monday morning (I'll give 48 hours for everyone to check in from when the thread is made that morning).

supernerd117 : You might want to refrain from summoning all of the mods on the site These all look interesting though. I'm fairly certain had you included it Pokemon mafia would've won the voting. Anyway thanks for the update, I'll take a look at the suggestions and give it some thought before deciding and return with my vote later.

I've never played a Mafia game, so I guess I could go ahead and start now? I guess I'll vote for Mario Mafia. 

I personally like the Smash Bros mafia because I like Smash Bros and the number of people seems fair to me. If that was made I would totally play it.

This can walk you through many of the common roles of the mafia game. There are three main categories: Mafia, Town, and Independent (called Third-party on the site). Mafia's goal is to destroy the Town, Town to destroy the Mafia, and Independent whatever their role dictates (in general). Hope this helps!

Mario Mafia sounds fun (Meme Mafia too but that's probably not everyone's cup of tea) and normally I'd be happy to participate. Sadly, I don't think I'll be able to, since I'm currently on the countryside with my father and most of my days tend to be unpredictable, which often means a complete mess. if I were to join my activity levels would probably be way too inconsistent for participating in a game of Mafia.

Nonetheless, I'll definitely be lurking every now and again if I find time to spare.

I suppose I'll vote for Disney Mafia. Mafia involving disney characters sounds like it could be fun and very interesting.

Honestly speaking i'm fine with any mafia out of the ideas mentioned,  At the end of the day whilst the themes are a good edition, A good mafia game depends on the roles picked, the balance of the game and most importantly the players who are taking part in the game,  

You have probably seen it a few times if you've played mafia before where the middle to end point of the game can pretty much be dead in terms of activity... the key is to try and make the game captivating enough to carry on the conversation all the way through x3

Well, I guess I would have to vote for a Disney Mafia since it's the closest to the idea I have for mafia. I wanted a Wizard of Oz mafia with the Wicked Witch of the West as the Godfather, the Tornado could be a loose cannon type role, Munchkins would be bystanders..... yeah.... something like that.

This is not the case. This is only the voting thread, not the sign-ups thread. I don't know why my mind went that direction, but it did. I apologize for my error. I'll be posting the sign-ups thread after noon today once what game we're playing is decided, and I'll summon you guys then.
