Who's ur favorite Fire type Pokemon starter of all time? I say Fennekin. FIRE/PSYCHIC evolution

My favorite fire starter is Charmander, even though this exact Pokemon isn't really that good aside for its fitness but once you get to Charizard everything makes sense and charizard happens to be one of my 4 favorite Pokemon of them all and no other fire starter, whether its their base or evolutions can even come close.

My favorite would either have to be Charmander or Chimchar. Charmander has the mega evolution thing going for him so for now, I'm saying Charmander. I personally think that Mega Charizard Y is better than X because of the drought ability just saying. I do think that chimchar evolves into the best fire/fighting types in the series though, Infernape.

That's a tough one. All of the Fire Type starters are good, but if I had to choose one, then it would be... Chimchar, maybe? Yeah, once that Pokemon evolves into Infernape, then it becomes quite strong. I love Infernape. Its design and moves are pretty cool.

I actually like all the Fire type starters but my all-time favorite Fire type starter has to be Torchic. I love its design (cute especially, but Mudkip's the cutest!) and evolutions a lot. I find the Fire/Fightning combination of types pretty good. Blaziken works well both as special attack and attacker but I prefer to use Blaziken as an attacker. Its Hidden Ability, Speed Boost, is OP and really fun to use. Blaziken also has access to a Mega Evolution which looks really cool if you ask me.

So out of all of them: Charmander, Cyndaquil, Torchic, Chimchar, Tepig or Fennekin, I will say Cyndaquil. A unique Fire starter because its final evolutionary stage is the only pure Fire type of the Fire starter Pokémon. It evolves early and the penalty of learning moves later is not so taxing after it evolves. Cyndaquil should probably be my favourite of the Fire starters even though I usually go with Water type due to type favouritism.

Here's how would rank my Fire starter favourites:

1 Cyndaquil
2 Charmander
3 Torchic
4 Tepig
5 Fennekin
6 Chimchar

Cyndaquil for the reasons stated above plus his flames shoot out of his back seemingly randomly. All starters are cute so that's not a factor.
Charmander is the starter I saw the origin of in the Anime and I fell in love with the little guy. He's the sweetest little firebrand that grows into a monster in later episodes.
Torchic, I have been repeatedly exposed to it in playing third generation games more often than anything else. I may have picked Torchic when I first played Sapphire on Vizzed. Its familiarity in my mind makes it very appealing.
Tepig's appeal started long before Pokémon games were first released. I speak of the books "Charlotte's Web" and "Babe, The Gallant Pig" which I had read. Also, that little piggy game you play with your toes before you know how to read. That's why this little piggy is coming all the way home with me.
Fennekin is a fire fox. I use Mozilla Firefox. How perfectly fitting that a Pokémon would embody my favourite browser. I've never used this Pokémon but I've heard good things.
Chimchar. Why is it last on my list? Why did it even make the list? While it does have some appeal and I would like to use such a Pokémon, ultimately with other elemental type monkeys being simultaneously present in the Poke-verse, Chimchar suffers from unoriginal character design. They could have picked any different animal but they went with monkey. Several times.

I rest my case.

My favorite fire type starter is Cyndaquil. I just find the Pokemon to be cute and cuddly, while evolving into a really awesome Typhlosion.

For me it would be something like this.

1. Cyndaquil line
2. Chimchar line
3. Closely followed by Torchic line
4. Charmander line
5. Fennekin line
6. Tepig line... Ugh.

It is and probably always will be the Cyndaquil line, and yes there's a lot of nostalgia attached to that. I really do have nostalgia for all of the Johto starters but Cyndaquil in particular since that was my most common choice, I also like that it's basically the only fire type to stay purely a fire type, can't say how sick I am of them turning into Fire fighting... (looking at you emboar).

Not to mention it just looks awesome with that fire collar, and I'm not sure why, but something about it being a giant rat just makes it that much more awesome to me XD

I'd probably also go as far as to say that Quilava is the coolest out of all the 1st stage evolutions, which is nice because they often tend to have awful to mehish looking designs (looking at you Pignite >.>).

Infernape, would arguably be my 2nd choice again that's somewhat rooted in nostalgia from using it even though I do prefer Empoleon, but I think it has a really cool looking design, and I actually liked the whole story of Infernape in the anime though it makes you wonder why none of the other fire starters Ash has owned didn't spazz out like that... Considering all the starters have the blaze ability.

Then there's Blaziken, which I think, the whole kung fu master thing is a fairly cool design and it's pretty good usage wise but I just don't like it as much as the other two, probably because the 3rd generation games are the ones with the least nostalgia for me, and I've still always preferred Swampert and Sceptile.

I did like Charizard when I was younger as every other kid did because of the anime, but in time I've just grown to think it's kind of bland, it's a fire dragon... Woo, it's not that original in my opinion and I think there are more cooler looking dragon Pokemon out there, and just how everyone treats it as the best Pokemon ever kind of ruins it for me. Charmeleon also looks... Weird to me.

I find the Fennekin line kind of meh, not really much for the whole shaman-ish design even if I'm generally for them not making a Fire type that's part fighting and it being part psychic is sort of interesting, I just don't like the whole shaman theme that much and move wise it didn't really stand out to me either, even compared to the other Generation 6 starters.

And then there's the Tepig line... Well ugh, Tepig is alright, I do like the bulkiness of Emboar with that massive HP but I don't really like it's design, movepool or the fact of how slow it is compared to the others. Not to mention both Pignite and Emboar's cry sound like farts. Pignite overall is probably my least favorite out of any 1st stage starter evolutions really, just ugh, looks stupid, sounds stupid, and the reason I never picked Tepig past my initial time with the game.

Mine would be Chimchar. Because Chimchar has one of the coolest final evolutions. Come on.... a damn ape destroying everything with it's fist, isn't that awesome?

My favorite fire type starter is Cyndaquil. He is so cute and I love Typhlosion. It learns awesome moves like Lava Plume, Eruption, and Flamethrower, which are among my favorite fire type moves.

I am not familiar with Fennekin, as I haven't played X and Y. I can't say how good or bad Fennekin or its evolutions are.

  This is a tough question because all fire starters are good but as for my favorite. If I consider everything including evolution I would say mine goes like this.

1. Torchic

2. Fenekin

3. Charmander

4. cyndaquil

5. Chimchar

6. And finally the horrible Tepig.

The reason my list is like that is because think about it. Was it needed to have 3 fire/fighting types in a row!? At least Torchic was something new being fire/fighting and it's evolution is just awesome.

Fenekin I like it because it's design is just so great. Though I like Braixen and Delphox more.

Charmander is 3 because it is the original and who does not like the original fire pokemon. Also it becomes a dragon later. Even if it is not dragon type it looks like a dragon which I love.

Cyndaquil is number 4 is because I like it but it is just not as good as the other ones with it's design being bleh and it is also bleh in battle.

Chimchar is number 5 because it is the second fire/fighting type in a row but I do like it's starter.

Tepig is number 6 because it is the 3rd in a row! Did we really need 3! Also Emboar just looks awful.

My favorite is torchic why I love torchic especially  his/her's  final evolveion blaziken

My favorite starter is definitely chamander. Hands down.

My favorite fire starter is always Torchic cause Mega Blaziken looks awesome

Its always been torchic for me I do love the others but I have a certain thing for torchic and why I used that Pokémon a lot. What's not the reason too? He evolves into a very powerful Pokémon. Plus he is very handy at times when it comes to the Pokémon league.
