I am right handed and always have been.  It's kind of funny this topic caught my eye today though, because my students and I had a short discussion on it today.  One of my students volunteered to work a problem on the board, and although I don't usually pay any note to such things, I immediately noticed he was left-handed.  Why did it jump to my mind?  I've noticed that many (most?) left-handed people form their letters and numbers "backwards".  Most right handed people, for example, will start at the curve of a 2 when writing it.... whereas I've noted most left-handed people start at the straight part at the bottom.  I find it fascinating.

I'm a lefty with writing. 

I'm kind of like 18m with all of this, I use my right hand for hitting while playing baseball, but I do throw left handed. 

Its kid of weird being left handed, people forget all the time and have to tell you that they forgot.

Whatever thought, I'm used to it lol.

I'm dominantly right handed but although I can do almost anything with my left hand I just can't get used to writing with it no matter how many times I try to do it.

I'm right-handed like most people.
I read somewhere that people used to be split 50-50 between leftys and rightys, but over time for various reasons, it started to shift in the direction of more people being right handed. That same article said that as of now, an average of only 1 in 20 people are left-handed, at least in the study that was conducted.

Was a left hander in writing til I got in the 5th grade and then my teacher trained me to change my writing hand and have wrote with my right ever since, but I still can write with my left hand, but not as good. My mom always told me that I was an ambidextrous individual and she's right, I am.

I would have to say in response to this question I am predominantly right-handed. I do utilize my left-hand for certain instances and have been training myself to use the left more than I usually did when I was younger.

I'm a lefty and proud. But I use it most for writing. When I'm screw on a car because its my hobby I use most the right hand for some weird reasons. Also I also a left legged persons if you can call it that. So lefty all round

I'm right handed, but there are some weird differences between my hands. 

For instance somehow my left hand fingers move much faster than my right hand, I guess that means I'm better at movement in video games than actions.

I know I posted here once before, but oh well. Time for an update!

I'm (still) right-handed. Though growing up as a kid, I knew that depending on which hand and foot were dominant, that side of your brain would tend to be more developed. So to compensate for this, and round myself out as well as possible, I would always try to do as many tasks with my left hand as I could manage. After a while, I really started to notice a difference in my coordination skills. It actually got to the point where for anything besides writing (my hand-writing was bad enough with my dominant hand ) I could do most things almost as well with my left as I could my right. It was pretty neat to see how practicing with it helped my off-hand development. Plus, it was nice to be able to shoot jump shots in basketball with either hand, and still sink them most of the time lol.

Well i'm part of the 1% of people that is ambidextrous. Although I can't use my left foot while playing soccer (its actually football) very well. Although i'm not terrible with my weak foot.
