What is your favorite PC video game? When I mean PC game, I mean exclusives. So, games like Minecraft, Fez, and Guacamelee doesn't count. So start answering!

My favorite is Team Fortress 2. I know it's on the Xbox 360 and PS3, but those versions were never updated after 2009, so to me, it counts. The PC one is so ahead of the console versions, it's staggering. Anyway, on to the game itself. TF2 does a lot to separate itself from the likes of Call of Duty and Battlefield. For one, the game is vibrant and colorful. It has many silly and lighthearted things like hats, sandviches, and soda. The characters are all individualized, and they spout funny dialogue, especially the Heavy and Soldier. Most of the kids at my school are into CoD, but I'm a TF2 guy.

Easily Nox. It's an Action RPG in the same vein as Diablo or Torchlight . It has an unfortunate history of being called a Diablo 2 clone despite being released before Diablo 2. It's your typical high fantasy story about a guy being pulled from our world in to a world of sword and sorcery, and true to form, he's the hero of legend. What's interesting about this game is that the story is pretty substantially different depending on which of 3 character classes you choose. Character interactions also change, for example, if you choose a wizard then you'll be attacked on sight by warrior NPCs, and the reverse is true if you choose a warrior. The game also had a competitive multiplayer and a free add-on called Nox Quest which added up to 6 player co-op and randomly generated never-ending dungeons. Despite being the best game of its genre that I've ever played, few people have heard of it. If you're interested in it then it's available at GoG and the add-on is available at Nox Forum, which is still semi-active.

Note that if you buy it through GoG (or download it from elsewhere) then you'll probably still have to play with your compatibility settings, not a big deal, but something you should know about.

I've played many PC games, most very competent and fun.

I think my favourites (simply can't pick just one) are Civilization V, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, and Victoria II, in no particular order. Civ V had a spectacular presentation chock full of stuff to accomplish and strive for. XCOM had a great managerial system and the sheer amount of depth is commendable. Victoria II had a massive historical map with many possibilities complimented by an amazing interface (probably the best I've ever seen).

So yeah, there's a lot going for all of these games and I can't pick an absolute favourite. As time goes on I'll certainly find more titles to add to this list.

My favorite PC Video game of all time would have to be Roller Coaster Tycoon because it was and still is in my opinion the greatest simulation game of all time. There's no end to the customization and creative freedom RCT provides, and it's the closest experience one will ever get to owning their own amusement park. There are other Park sims out there, but none of them are quite as amazing as RCT. That's why I say that Roller Coaster Tycoon is definitely the best PC game of all time. Now which game in that series is the best? I'd either say the original or 3.

Currently my favourite PC game is Age of Empires II HD Edition. I used to play the original a long time ago but now that the HD version is around I bought that on Steam to play with a bunch of other friends that also have the game. We have done a lot of really crazy things like come up with our own rules. It's really fun, I totally recommend it. I'd also be open to playing it with anyone here too!

My favorite PC exclusive game is Killing Floor. The combat style is fun and surviving with other people on harder difficulties make it challenging and team based.

I can narrow it down to 2 series: Diablo and Civilization.

The first one was, for its time, quite an accomplishment in technology. You can never have the same dungeon twice and the missions vary quite a bit too. Fortunately Hellfire came along with its running; doing armor duplication while walking was a pain.

Civilization is probably the best simulation game ever invented. I have only played up to IV but it is still enjoyable. Mastering the game at higher levels requires so much thinking and planning and I love that.

Final fantasy Vll. I remember my brother going something to make the graphics look better. I was sort of amazed by it because I didn't know you could do that during the time.

RollerCoaster Tycoon (the first one) is my favorite PC game ever. It is basically a game about building rollercoasters, more specific a theme park building game. Who doesn't want to build an amusement park? I like these kinds of games, creating your own stuff and such. Every time a different park with your own creative flavour. I could play the game for the whole day if I wanted to.

Civilization 4: Beyond the Sword, Civilization 5: Complete and Team Fortress 2 are all tied for mine. Civ IV isn't as popular as Civ V (anymore) but is still a really fun and much deeper strategy game, although the mechanics are a bit...weird. It took me 150+ hours of gameplay to actually understand how the economy works, but once I did it turned out to be one of the games best features.

Civilization 5 is a much simpler game, but still a lot of fun. It has a much better culture, religion, espionage and combat, but the expansion and happiness mechanics do bring it down a bit.

Team Fortress 2 has been my go-to game for ages now, putting in over 1000 hours and far to much money then I'd like to mention into it. I don't play it as much anymore but I still play a few rounds a week.

Probably "To the Moon".  A wonderful soundtrack, moving situations and lovable characters combine in one of the greatest stories ever told via video games.

As far as gameplay is concerned, probably "A Story about My Uncle".  The wonderful feeling you get grappling from place to place is magnificent!  You basically get to feel like Spider-Man on steroids.  It's pretty incredible.

So far, my most favorite game for the PC is like a lot of people in the universe, it happens to be Minecraft. The reason why Minecraft is my favorite game is because you can do a whole lot of interesting things like building interesting objects and buildings, and also, fight against other players and/or mobs and survive.

TornadoMudkip : I haven't played a RCT game for a really long time (last time I played a RCT game was in 2009), but I am looking forward on seeing RollerCoaster Tycoon World to be released, because I want to go back to the series once again and start making things once again.
