I actually wanted to post this earlier but I forgot about it. Remember that I once made a thread where I shared a drawing I made when I was bored? This vacation, I had made another Mario drawing! I really wanted to make another one, not only because I finally had a lot of free time but also cause it's fun to draw! I was also very happy to read that people were impressed and said I should make more! In case you're wondering 'other?' here is the drawing I'm talking about:

So this time I made a drawing from the sequel of Partners in Time, Bowser's Inside Story as you can see. I think the drawing took me more than 5 hours, but it was worth it. All I used is normal coloured pencils and a 2H pencil (I only had this one, at the moment I have a HB pencil). I started drawing Mario first and I was a bit dissappointed with his face compared to the original drawing, but the rest of the drawing came out a lot better, although Fawful was pretty hard with his flying platform as well. Do I like this drawing or my previous drawing more? Well, I like the other one because it has more action since the manual from the game had these moves. The manual from Bowser's Inside Story only had characters standing so I combined that with the cover of the game case, and this is the result!

juuldude : BEAUTIFUL! Seriously though, this drawing is amazing! You draw even better than me! The Mario face is pretty good. I can see the flying platform with the electricity floating around Fawful. Keep it up!

Boredom is an amazing thing. It can cause you to make the most complex drawings! All I can say is, it's fantastic and beautiful just like your previous drawing!

Drawings look more professional and difficult to make when they're done with a pencil and some colored pencils so I suggest you keep drawing that way.

While both of your drawings were well done, I can see improvement in your shading of the characters.

So it seems like you're getting better at this!

I don't know how well you can draw but I've heard from more people that I'm good at drawing, so I'm planning to enter some kind of schools competition later this year and I'll make a drawing. At first I thought the electricity would be the hardest part about Fawful and his flying platform, but that actually turned out to be easier then I thought, while Fawful was much harder. I'll do that!

Yes, when I'm bored I can get really inspirational. Thing is, normally school bores me and I use computergames to be happy again, but in the vacations I am bored because I play computer games, and with no school, I'll do things like making drawings. 
I think they look more professional with pencils indeed, since markers and ballpoint pens are too messy, and paint is really hard, so coloured pencils are just right, and they're useful for shading and doing more colours in one pattern.

The characters and the logo indeed had a lot more of shades, and it was very difficult, but I really like the shading in Peach her dress (the original picture has some blue shading in her dress, and on purpose it came out well next to Fawful on the hovering platform), in the Toads, in the logo and in Broque Monsieur and Broggy (the block person with the moustache and the block dog) , Broggy his feet were one of the last things I coloured and they look very realistic to me. 
Heck, maybe I am!

supercool22 : Thanks I saw that you once posted drawings here of Baxter Kangaroo I believe. Have you made a drawing recently? Shading is really hard, mostly since you need to have pencils that can make things look darker but not too dark like it's been done on purpose.

I really liked your first drawing but I think this one is much better. The shading stands out better than the first.

This looks like it was really fun to draw. You should have saved a character for me to color in =P

juuldude - Entering that school competition is a great idea! Even if you do horrible compared to everyone else, you're letting everyone know what you can do!

Maybe you're having more trouble summoning now than before because you changed your layout. Certain layouts don't summon as well for whatever reason.

Another drawing option is drawing on a computer, but like paint, that's really hard and it doesn't look as professional as pencil and colored pencils.

I can tell the progress made between this drawing and the last one is really good. The more you progress, the better it is. We all know that. I am the exception I guess. Last time I did draw something... Oh it's been a long time ago. If I can get my hand on one of my last creations, that would be great. Anyhoo, I honestly can't wait to see your next creations (eventually a Inazuma Eleven drawing someday for all the fans and the non-fans, who knows )

I know nothing about art, so I have no criticism. I looks great!

Is that true? I've never heard that before. And indeed, I really have trouble with computer paint, I'm much more of a pencil painter.

I think that once I'll make an Inazuma Eleven drawing too, but I'm not sure when.

NintendoFanKimmy : Thanks Kimmy! Starlow was fun to draw, since she is so small and so yellow. And oui, monsieur Turtle Bits thinks that Broque Monsieur is not too shabby (if you get the 2 Bowser's Inside Story references then you're a real M & L fan)
