So, how 'bout it? Winter Break's almost here, so might as well. . . .

How many weeks do you get? What date/time does your Winter Break begin? And do you find it fair or unfair with the amount of vacation days you get?

Personally, I think it's fair. Two weeks are good enough for me. If I go anymore, I might forget half the stuff I learned. My winter break starts on the 20th, which is a Saturday if you were wondering. I just hope I won't get sick this year.

There's one asking when you leave, so I think this is different enough but this isn't my forum. Last year I was in college so I had about 5 weeks which I think was great and back in high school I has about 10 days each year which was ok.

I get 2 weeks for winter break. I'm really happy about this, because the sophomores said that last year they got less. It begins on this Saturday and we go back to school on Monday January 4. I get one extra day, though, because I leave to go to the Dells this Friday

I get 2 weeks too! It also starts on the 20th and I'm happy about it also. That's 3 more days. And that last day is a half-day for me, so 2.5 days . This week also sucks though because I have a Geometry final coming up. It's good though because it means no homework over the break . I had something else to write, but like always, I forget... Anyway, Merry Christmas! Only 8 more days :O. Peace .

It was only one week last year and I think it has been only one week off for winter break since about 2004 for my county but recently they have decided for this year onward they will have it like its been in earlier years that winter break will be for two weeks in an effort to work in snow days or something like that and or for other holidays like kwanza or the holiday jewish people celebrate that I can't spell lol.

I get almost double the winter break that I had in school - four weeks.

Exam week was brutal, so it has taken me a few days to bounce back from that.

I plan to call up a few friends near the end of the week. I haven't seen most of them in five months, so it will be neat.

I have 2 days left until I get to go on winter break!!!! Yes! But its finals week, so I just took my AP Physics and AP Lit finals. I feel alright about them, but still. I have only 2 weeks for break (it's usually 3 weeks, but this year they cut it short), but it's a good enough time off, so I'm happy. Anyways, I'm super stoked for Christmas and hope you all have a great one!!!

I get off on the 19th and I don't go back to school until the 5th, so that's 16 days, or just over 2 weeks of break. I am thankful for this because I remember when it use to only be like a week and a half a few years ago. I'm just really thankful that none of my teachers have thrown any big assignments of projects for me to do over break, and I am extremely grateful for that...I actually get to enjoy my break for once....is that allowed? Is this actually happening? XD

It would be cool if it snowed on Friday, that way I could start my break a day early....probably not going to happen though.

Every year, I get about two weeks off of school. Usually, the break starts around the 20th - 23rd of Decemeber, and I don't come back to school til the first week of January. This year, the last day before break starts is the 23rd and I don't go back til January 5th. I pretty much have 12 days of winter break this year, and I am fine with that.

I got out of school on the 19th . Since I live in Florida we get a lot of hurricanes and we have special days that we would normally get off unless there was a hurricane earlier in the year that made us miss school. Luckily there was no hurricane this year and the day before break was a hurricane make-up day so I got an extended break . The worst part of this year is that we started later than we normally would so mid-terms are conveniently right after winter break, and c'mon, let's be honest. I'm not going to study at all over break lol.

We had an early dismissal on December 23rd. I'm not sure who's brilliant idea it was to have school the day before Christmas Eve. We go back to school tomorrow. I feel like we were cheated for a few days this year.

When I was in school, I always have two weeks for winter break we get the week that Christmas falls on (last day is on a typical Friday) and the week that New Years fall on (return on a typical Monday), so those are the two weeks I have off right there.
