I can't say how much texts I get a day because I barely get any. In a month it is probably 1 or 2.

I've never sent a text message, but I'll get one or two a week.  I was actually texted an email today- someone actually figured out they're more likely to get a response out of me that way!

And I'm really surprised (and excited) to see how many people don't have cell phones!  Most people are too connected to the world.  It's great to disconnect.

Oh man, that is all me and my girlfriend do. I would think that I send about 200 texts or so a day, and I probably receive somewhere around 210 since I get stuff my father and my aunts sometimes just telling me things that do not need a reply.

I normally don't receive any as I don't have much of a social life at the moment. But when it gets busy, especially for a night out, it can be 10-20 texts per day. Also, I try using Google Voice on my computer so I don't pay for them

My wife really likes to tell me about her day, especially if she is having a bad one. If I had to guess...I would say probably in between 10 - 20 a day, at least 10. But she is always texting me. I would guess from the answers I have seen posted that I am in the minority here, while my wife would probably be on up there. lol
Call me old fashioned but I don't like cell phones and go out of my way to avoid using them. I have a home phone that I can be reached on most the time and any of my friends know where I live so they know where to come see me. At least half of them also know how to get ahold of me online if they need to, whether by email or one of the few sites I regularly visit ( like Vizzed, Otaku, and some other creative writing sites ). I don't send text and to date since my wife got her cell phone years ago I have only received one text. My wife on the other hand gets between 50-80 a day and she sends out about 40 or so a day. Most I have ever seen her get was on our first vacation years ago. That day seemed like everyone we knew was blowing up her phone. I think she got dang near 300 text. I know the question was intended for just me to answer but since my wife is the one with the phone I figured I'd put her into this. Have a good day all.
