So, the VA finally got back to me, and it's good news! 
They approved my disability claim. They are rating me more than I would have expected. If you want to know what it is, PM me, and I will think about telling you; it'll depend on the person, as this is kind of personal. So, with all the back pay that they owe me which will be in my bank account tonight, I can pay off my loan and credit card 100%, buy the car I was driving earlier this year from my dad and step-mom ( well, down payment, at least. Basically, I'm buying it from them ), pay the rent I owe my aunts and pay through the end of April, and still have about 25% after all of that. 
So, I'm getting a 3DS tomorrow ( yes, I'll get Smash and Mario Kart, as well as a Pokemon game ), and a new laptop, capture card, and XBOX ONE on Black Friday. Still deciding on the PS4. 

It's been a year long struggle to get the VA to give me something since I got screwed with the way I got put of the Army, but I have say I wasn't expecting as much as I got.

thing1 : good for you bro!!!!!! I have always heard horror storys about the V.A it is good to see that they are still helping people.  Is it enogh to live off of i mean if you mind telling i don't want numbers or anything but if you do not want to share it is fine 

blasife : Naw, it's not enough to live off of, but it's enough to take care of most of bills ( not including rent, since I don't have an apartment yet, but it'll take care of my phone when I get one later this week, car and insurance, and credit card )

Also, beware the Master Chief Collection. The user score is decent on Metacritic (but it may/may not have been rigged), but a LOT of users on Reddit have reported major problems, including not even being able to play Halo 3, bugged multiplayer, and more. I suggest waiting for a sale or until they fix most/all of the major problems. The problems are so diverse and serious that I can't see how it got an 87 on Metacritic unless critics got paid off. It's got a lot of features, though.

Pokemon X and Y aren't short on style, and look and play awesome, but have a pretty skimpy aftergame compared to previous generations. I suggest waiting for the newest games that will be released on Black Friday, and choosing between the two, if you aren't going to get a game from each (from X and Y, and from OR/AS) They are remakes, but they'll almost undoubtedly be superior games.

That is good, indeed very good. It's nice to have something to pay the bills with.

Oh by the way, Mario Kart 7 is great, but you will get served on the first few matches. 

Oh, and Black Friday? Sounds terrible, though i may be biased due to past experiences.

Here's the adult in me thinking about this.  You got paid out by the VA.  That's good.  But that money is going to dry up quickly and you'll find yourself looking for more cash. Isn't it in your best interest not to load up immediately on video games?  Things didn't go well for you, true, but that money other veterans would use for things like food, heat, and finding themselves productive jobs seems like it's not going to something good if it's spent on several different systems at the same time.  Do you really need all of that?

I'm a warrior and I fought in the Marine Corps for six years.  Outside of a dude mortar landing extremely close to me and a few years of being distinctly cold, hungry, and uncomfortable, I didn't have anything bad happen.

However, I know a lot of guys who either died or were wounded badly.  They had their rehab and they fought to get back into real life and contribute to society again.  It's offensive to me to think the first few things you spend that valuable money on is video games.  Why not find something... anything else... that is going to contribute to society.  I know guys who are never coming home and their wives are waiting to collect their SGLI and they are in a world of hurt.

I dunno, maybe it's me.  You can get your bills knocked out and now you have a shot at doing something productive and getting back in the game of real life.  I'd hate to see you spend 1,000 on video games and turn around and complain a few months from now about how you can't find work and you don't have any opportunity.

Like the end of Saving Private Ryan, "Earn this."  You get a chance to succeed.  They trusted you to not spend that money on drugs and waste your life.  Earn that.

That is good news. Now when that job finally comes through, you wont have a crapload of debt to pay off. You will be starting over from zero and really sock back some serious cash.

warmaker : while I also agree that its not the most productive or intuitive way to spend the extra funds, he does actually have a job lined up. So since income isn't really an issue, it cant hurt to indulge a little. btw, thank you and thing for your time and services. There may not be many anymore that really appreciate the military, but there are still a few.

That's great news! I am glad that they finally did this. (Is the VA Army? I'm sorry, I don't really know.) And all of those bills being able to be paid, with some extra, THAT'S AWESOME!

warmaker : I start my truck driving job in about 3 weeks. I have it budgitted to where I'll still have about 20% left in savings after everything is all said and done.

Since your laptop sucks, you should take 6 or 7 bills and either buy or build a computer that doesn't suck. I have actually read in several places that building a PC is about as easy as playing with really expensive Lego's.

m0ssb3rg935 : I went to Best Buy today to window shop while I running errands, and I found a big Touchscreen ASUS laptop that you can bend back to be like a tablet. It has an i7 Intel Core Processor. It's $1,000 , and the guy that I talked to who actually streams a lot is the one who recommended it. He said it probably won't go down below $900 on Black Friday, though.

Also, I dunno if it's the case in the US, but 3DS distribution stopped in Canada, so you might have to buy one used or get a 3DS XL instead (and there's the "New" 3DS coming out sometime next year with exclusive games due to additional bumpers and a second thumbstick, might be worth waiting for).

It sounds like you have a whole lot of expenses you have to pay off. Perhaps getting a 3ds, laptop and xbone should be put on hold until you fully get you stuff together. Rent for living + car payments arent something to take lightly and they really are quite expensive. Put first things first.

bobq : I've already taken care of all of my debt. I am 100% debt free, and after I give the money to my Dad to get the car from him, I will still have enough to upgrade my 2DS to a 3DS on Black Friday, get an XBOX ONE and some stuff for it., and still have a good bit left over for gas until I get my December Payment. I've already put my fees for my CDL to the side. 
I am smart, and I do know how to manage my money. I'm not some little kid.

Honestly you are squandering you're money.
If you encounter some financial hardship in the meantime you wont have much to fall back on.
Realistically would you play with a 3ds, laptop, xbox one and potentially ps4, all at the same time?
Part of being an adult is prioritising you're spending.
I could afford to buy a band new middle range car in one go. I could probably get the consoles with my change.
But then id have no money and a bunch of rapidly depreciating items.
Being smart with money means spreading out your purchases, and prioritising What's important.

I love how people are trying to give me finanacial advice when I have already had everything planned for a few days now, and everything is done. This was supposed to be an update for people that wanted an update when I got one, not people being critical of how I spend my money. My money is my business.
