Is this old news? I just recently heard of it by an online advertisement; I don't watch TV all that much and have no time to read the newspaper.

Anyways, old news or not, I got a laugh out of it. Isn't this how most businesses nowadays operate - by giving an advertisement of what the consumers want to hear?

Isn't this the same as filing a lawsuit, for example, because the laundry detergent didn't clean as advertised, or maybe, Kraft Cheese isn't really the cheesist, maybe Velveeta is cheesier?

tRIUNE : How I look at this, this is a pretty stupid lawsuit I think it's just so they can get money. I know a lot of companies uses metaphors to get their consumers to buy their product and a lot of people and the people that makes the product knows you really can't grow wings.

A lot of people needs to understand metaphors, it might say it will give you one thing, but in reality, it really don't. When I looked at this, I though to myself "Man, can people get anymore stupider".

Seriously though, it's a ridiculous lawsuit, but people will try it anyway.
According to the article, it was because it didn't have any enhancing qualities to it, rather than the fact you didn't receive actual wings.
Still though, it's advertising.

I remember seeing an ad that mentioned in it that is doesn't actually give you wings.

I've considered making a claim too, lol. I just don't think it's worth the time. They'll either want to ship me a $10 cheque, which would require my address and name (and allows them to send me junk mail in the future), or I'll get $10 worth of Red Bull. Neither are worth it to me currently.

I drank Red Bull once and I may make a claim just for laughs.

In all seriousness I truly do think Red Bull deserves the heat they are getting. They promised us that their drink would give us wings. You could imagine how disappointed I was when I tried it. I didn't bother after the next couple times.

I applaud Benjamin Careathers for standing up for us simple consumers. It's because of Red Bull that corporations think they can get away with lying to us. Next thing you know Cheetoes aren't actually "dangerously cheesy" and gushers won't explode if I bite into them.

Absolutely ridiculous, I want my 10 dollars.
